Hotel Policies
Alcohol Policy
In the state of California, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 18 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Check Cashing Policy
The hotel will cash personal checks for SPG Gold Members and above, with valid identification. Other conditions may apply.
Gift Certificate Policy
To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
Pet Policy
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Silicon Valley welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds.* Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. A daily 25 USD pet fee plus a 100 USD non-refundable cleaning fee will be charged upon arrival. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
* If your dog weighs more than 40 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Smoking Policy
Aaahhh … breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there's a 200 USD fine for anyone lighting up inside the hotel.
