Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 21 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.

Traveling together with family or friends? Some of our Aloft rooms can be connected—usually a king room with a double queen. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check in and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.

Early Departure Policy
If you have a sudden change of schedule and need to cut out early, stop by the front desk and we’ll settle your bill for just the nights you stayed. Sorry—this policy doesn’t apply to prepaid reservations.
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering both King or Queen/Queen guest rooms with accessible features. We’re happy to offer ADA kits for the hearing impaired and wheelchair availability. Make sure to request a wheelchair in advance and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.
In the state of Texas, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Houston by the Galleria welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds.* Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
* If your dog weighs more than 40 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.

Aaahhh…breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there's a $250 fine per night for anyone lighting up inside the hotel.

We're happy to cash personal checks for Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) members, up to $50 per day, with valid identification. Other conditions may apply.
EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy
Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel. If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or you are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN.
Credit Card Policy
In addition to the credit card requirement for reservations, a valid credit card must be presented at check-in. If a guest wishes to pay cash at check-in or check-out, a credit card must still be provided.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Gift Card Policy
At check-in, a credit or debit card with a guest’s name must be presented. Gift cards and prepaid cards are not accepted at check-in, but can be used to pay for final charges at checkout.
For the cardholder's protection, the credit card used for pre-paid reservations must be presented at check-in. If the cardholder is not present, full payment will be taken on presented card, and the pre-payment will be credited to the original credit card. Additional authorizations for incidental charges can be processed on separate card.
