Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including seven guest rooms with roll-in showers and other accessible features. We also offer complimentary use of Compu-TTY phone kits for hearing or vision impaired guests, a support kit for shorter-stature guests, and an in-house wheelchair.
In the state of Virginia, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room. Minors are welcomed with an accompanied adult at the minimum age of 21.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to Starwood Preferred Guest Gold and Platinum members who present valid identification. There is a limit of $300 per day.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
Extra Bedding Policy
Please note that instead of rollaway beds, the signature Camp Aloft Air Mattress is available. This extra bedding is available on a first come first serve basis.
Late Checkout Policy
Feel free to sleep in—check-out time isn’t until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you. There’s no guarantee, and if you stay put past 3pm another night’s room charge will apply. But if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Richmond West welcomes cats and dogs up to 80 pounds. (If your dog weighs more than 80 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.) No deposit is required for registered pets. Please check with our General Manager if you want to bring more than two pets and/or a pet other than a cat or a dog.
Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. There’s plenty of space nearby for walking your dog. Remember to use a leash in public areas, and don’t leave pets unattended in a guest room. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Our splash pool offers family fun from morning to night! But please be careful—there's no lifeguard on duty. For that reason, kids under 16 can't splash around alone, so be sure they're always accompanied by an adult.
Plastic is king here: a credit card’s required for all room reservations.
