Special Conditions
Texas-OU Weekend Information
From October 11 through October 12, 2013, the following restrictions will be in place:
- Wristbands will be issued at check-in to registered guests and must be worn. No additional wristbands will be issued. Only registered guests with hotel issued wristbands will be allowed to enter the hotel after 8pm on both Friday and Saturday night. No exceptions will be made.
- Occupancy limits will be strictly enforced. No exceptions will be made.
- Per TABC law, outside alcohol is not permitted in the building.
- Quiet time will begin at 12am (midnight) on all guest room floors.
- A zero tolerance policy for noise complaints will be in effect. All guests that receive a noise complaint will be evicted and charged for any compensation given to guests that were disrupted.

Hotel Policies
ADA Policy
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering fifteen guest rooms with accessible bathrooms and other features. To be sure an ADA room’s available for you at check-in, remember to request it when making your reservation.
Alcohol Policy
In the state of Texas, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! Guests must be 21 years or older to check in. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Credit Card Policy
A valid credit card is required at check-in. Cash may only be used to settle charges upon check-out.
Currency Policy
Please plan to pay in greenbacks—we only accept U.S. dollars. (But we’re happy to help you find a local ATM, bank, or currency exchange center.)
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime. And just note that if you need to be in the room before 8am, you’ll be charged for the previous night.
Extra Bedding Policy
Need to fit in an extra spot for sleeping a little one? We’ve got comfy air mattresses for kids, plus cribs for your littlest ones. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Gift Certificate Policy
Got an Aloft Dallas Downtown gift certificate? You’ll need to contact us directly at (214) 761-0000 to make your reservation, which is subject to availability. Make sure your certificate’s been signed and dated by a hotel representative—and be sure to bring it with you when you check in.
Late Checkout Policy
Feel free to sleep in—check-out time isn’t until 12 noon. Looking to stick around a bit longer? Let us know and we’ll try to keep the room available for you. There’s no guarantee, and if you stay put past 3pm another half or full night’s room charge will apply. But if we need you to clear the room, we can always stash your suitcase somewhere else until you’re ready to go.
Package Handling Policy
We’re happy to accept and hold packages sent to you—just be sure whoever’s sending them knows to clearly mark packages with both sender and recipient info. Please contact us directly for the package-handling fee for incoming packages.
Pet Policy
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Dallas Downtown welcomes dogs up to 50 pounds*. Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!
* If your dog weighs more than 50 pounds, please contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Pool Policy
Our splash pool offers family fun from morning to night! But please be careful—kids 12 and under can't splash around alone, so be sure they're always accompanied by an adult.
Smoking Policy
Aaahhh…breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there's a $250 fine for anyone lighting up inside the hotel.
