Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a drivers license, passport, and/or proof of age card.
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering guest rooms with accessible features.
In the state of Illinois, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Chicago City Center welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds.* Our pet-friendly arf(SM) program offers a special bed, bowl, and a doggie bag of woof-alicious treats and toys, all complimentary to use during your stay. Please make sure they’re on their best behavior—we don’t want to charge you extra for housekeeping!

Aaahhh…breathe easy! We're a 100% smoke-free environment. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there's a $250 fine per night for anyone lighting up inside the hotel. There is a designated smoking area outside the building.

Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
