Leaving Starwood on June 30, 2016
The Aloft Chandigarh Zirakpur will be leaving the Starwood system on June 30, 2016. Reservations for dates on or after June 30, 2016, will not be eligible for Starwood Preferred Guest membership benefits, award redemption or accrual.
Feel free to unwind with a drink in your room - just keep in mind, we only serve and sell to guests 18 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Age Requirement Policy
Kids are always welcome - as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 21 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Acceptance of personal cheques for payment is subject to prior approval of the Finance Controller.
Sorry - we don't offer check-cashing services at the hotel. (But we're happy to help you find a local bank if you need it.)
Connecting Room Policy
Traveling together with family or friends? Many of our Aloft rooms can be connected - usually a king room with a double queen. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check in and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits.
Shirt and shoes are required in all public hotel areas except for the pool and the sundeck. A swimsuit is required in and around the swimming pool.
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 12pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees - it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule - but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and proof-of-age card. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation.
Extra charges apply if there are more than 2 adults staying in the room. Children 12 years of age and older are considered to be adults and an extra charge will apply.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee
Pets are not allowed.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
All guests must check in with a valid credit card. Guests must notify the hotel of the use of a debit card. The hotel is not responsible for any penalties due to the use of or access to debit cards.
We accept all major credit cards, but if plastic's not your thing, we're happy to accept cash too. You'll need to pay the complete room fee (including taxes) in advance, plus INR 5000 per person as security deposit. Of course, you'll get the extra back at check-out when we settle your bill, after a quick room inspection to make sure everything's in order. Some groups require advance deposits. For payment arrangements to a third-party credit card, please contact the hotel's front office department at least 7 days prior to arrival.
Aaahhh…breathe easy! Our hotel's public areas are a 100% smoke-free environment. You're welcome to light up outside and on the designated smoking floor.
Tax Exempt Policy
Tax exemption is based strictly on the local guidelines. Qualified purchases must be paid for using a payment with valid Office of Foreign Missions Tax Exemption ID card. For more information, please contact the hotel Manager on Duty.
