Kids are always welcome—as long as there are adults around too! At least one occupant of each Aloft room must be 21 years or older. Be sure to bring ID in case we need to confirm.
Connecting Room Policy
Traveling together with family or friends? Some Aloft rooms can be connected – in our property, a King Suite with a double queen suite. Make sure to ask when you reserve or check in and we'll do our best to set you up, as availability permits. And if we can’t offer you connecting rooms, we’ll be sure to assign you rooms as close together as possible.
Extra Bedding Policy
We don’t have any rollaway beds, but our Aloft suites offer two queen-size beds or a king bed with a twin sofa bed. If you need extra beds, please book your room type accordingly, as rooms are subject to availability. And we’re always eager to accommodate your little ones with baby cribs; subject to availability, at no extra charge.
Check-In & Checkout Policies
Early Arrival Policy
Check in at 3pm or later and your Aloft room will be ready and waiting. Eager to get in earlier? Just ask at the front desk, and we'll do our best to find you a room that's ready. No guarantees—it depends on the last guests and our housekeeping schedule—but if we can't squeeze you in early, we'll be happy to hang on to your luggage in the meantime.
If a confirmed arrival before 7am is required, an early check-in fee of one night at the daily rate will apply.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee is applied to guests who check out prior to their scheduled check-our date. Guests may change their departure date without penalty up until the point of check-in. The cancellation fee is a one night penalty for non-prepaid reservations. For prepaid reservations, the guest will be charged the full amount of their original reservation.
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a current United States driver’s license, and/or a valid passport.
Guests with special needs will feel right at home! We’re fully compliant with ADA regulations, including offering guest rooms with accessible features.
Please note that there are a limited number of accessible guest rooms. Requests for such rooms should be made at the time of the reservation.
In the state of Florida, alcohol is for adults-only—so we only serve and sell to guests 21 and over. (Remember your ID!)
Shirts and shoes are required at all times while at the lobby, gym and all public areas.
Package Handling Policy
We’re happy to accept and hold packages sent to you—you’ll just need to sign and show ID to claim them. Packages can be accepted up to three days before your arrival, and the name on a package must match the name on the reservation. A fee of $5 per package per day will apply.
Animals are family, too! That’s why Aloft Miami - Brickell welcomes dogs up to 40 pounds. For the safety and comfort of other guests and our staff, restrictions apply. Please contact the hotel directly for details.
Our splash pool offers family fun from dawn to dusk! But please be careful—there's no lifeguard on duty. For that reason, kids under 16 can't splash around alone, so be sure they're always accompanied by an adult.
Health & Well-Being Policies
Aaahhh … breathe easy! We’re a 100% smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in our guest rooms, on room balconies, or in and public spaces. Smoking is only permitted in a designated outdoor location. So please follow our no-smoking rules—there’s a $500 fine for anyone lighting up inside the hotel or on a guest room’s balcony.
Check Cashing Policy
Sorry- we don’t offer check-cashing services at the hotel. (But we’re happy to help you find a local bank if you need it.)
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Major credit cards are accepted. At check-in, your card will be authorized for the entire cost of your stay plus taxes, and an additional hold of 100 USD to cover incidentals. Should you incur a large balance during your stay, additional holds may be authorized. The authorization will hold the funds until checkout, at which time the amount actually incurred during your stay will be charged or paid in cash. Credit card holds may take up to 30 days after your departure to be released by your bank or financial institution. The hotel is not responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Major credit cards are accepted. Cash is accepted upon checkout; however, we must have a valid credit card on file to hold the cost of the entire hotel stay, taxes and an amount to cover incidentals. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Traveler’s checks and personal checks are not accepted for payment.
Tax Exempt Policy
We accept federal and state tax exemption certificates. Guests must present their tax exempt certificate and photo ID at check in to receive tax exempt status.
