Rated 3 out of 5 by Much below average hotels Pillows, shower stall, shower water pressure, body lotion, room heater (takes forever to hear room a couple of degrees in May), etc. need improvement. May 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent location Very clean hotel, helpful staff, very modern and quite comfortable. Appreciated the box breakfast as we were leaving early for the airport. The shuttle was a plus for us. Enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back. May 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Airport Gem Great location / value / vibe......not your usual fleabag Airport Hotel . Minimalistic & perfectly adequate for a 'passing through' stay.Kudos to Design Team & Stall. Makes you feel less of a "Transient" May 17, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Average Aloft, staff made a difference Similar to other ALoft. Staff made all the difference. Claudio checked us in, it was prompt and we were in our room in no time. The property is pet friendly, and we were placed on the first floor for allergy reasons (the Sheraton has always accommodated us on the Club floor, which is usually the top floor). They brought out the doggy bed and bowls. The pool was closed, so Claudio arranged for us to use the Sheraton facility across the street. Buffet breakfast was $10/person, good selection of items. p.s. Soap pump in room 109 not working - no big deal. Would stay here again. April 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best of the low budget options I've stayed here many times over the years, however staying here once or a bunch of times makes no difference to your experience. Everything is always the same. Which is not a bad thing, in this case. To all the Platinum guests I want to say expect nothing from any Alofts, this being no exception. There is no free anything (other than internet) and the hotel only has rooms so no suite upgrades either. Also, you only get 250 SPG bonus points at check-in. If you can get over these things, then you'll have a clean ROOM at a decent price (sometimes) and a friendly staff with a nice little lobby with a cool bar and a pool table too! Also it's a 5 minute bus ride from the Airport which is good and bad (noise) but once you are in your room you can barely hear it with the TV on! :) So, stay here if you are either in town for a night or don't want to spend too much money. However you are a 20 minute drive from downtown via highway. So if you plan on taxing anywhere, it will cost you. This hotel meets the category 3 expectations. December 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Une découverte A Loft fut une découverte agréable. Son personnel est efficace et sans prétention et au surplus dévoué. April 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Aflop I stayed at this hotel twice in one week and feel less than satisfied with both my stays. I have stayed at Alofts in the past so I had a reasonable idea of what to expect when I reserved this hotel. The first room I stayed in had 2 wireless phones that did not work. It was impossible to call to set a wake-up call and calls to my room could not be answered. Also, I am annoyed when the thermostat is set in Fahrenheit- we are in Canada, metric is the standard...but more to the point, the heater in both rooms could not warm the room adequately. I felt uncomfortable in both rooms I stayed. Also, would it hurt to provide two bars of soap instead of one? One for the shower and one for the sink? The other thing I would suggest is to properly seal the glass door in the shower. Every time I took a shower there was a huge puddle of water on the bathroom floor. Yes, I had a towel on the floor but it's a real annoyance to walk into the floor afterwards wearing socks and have wet feet. I am a platinum member with SPG and have been for the last 7 years. I like Starwood properties because they get the little things right- but this Aloft property really missed the mark. November 26, 2011
