Rated 3 out of 5 by Two Stays Stayed overnight twice in a three week period in Feb-Mar 2015. The first stay was prepaid and included breakfast but ended up receiving a brown bag with a muffin, piece of fruit and coffee, just not what I expected and that I would define as 'breakfast." On my second nights stay the toilet chain kept sticking and you needed to lift the toilet lid to be able to flush. March 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ideal for tired travellers Extremely comfortable beds and spotlessly clean room - exactly what was needed after a very delayed late arriving flight into a snowy Montreal airport. The free shuttle bus service from the airport was very efficient once Porte 10 was located and check-in at the Aloft was very speedy and straightforward. The room was large with great facilities and despite its location, totally silent and the blackout blinds did their job! The shower toiletries provided meant that we only needed to unpack our toothbrushes before falling into bed which was perfect. Waking up too late for breakfast (after 10am) meant that the good range of 'take away' food available including fresh fruit and yoghurt was much appreciated. The Réception staff were very helpful, contacting the car hire company and arranging a drop off service in record-breaking cold temperatures and a very special thank you to Gabriela for all her help in returning a cable that we left behind. Amazing service and a fantastic hotel. January 11, 2015

Rated 2 out of 5 by noise in room This was our first stay at this hotel. There was a loud high pitch noise all night. I was able to sleep because I was very tired and a sound sleeper, however my wife did not sleep all night because of the noise. It seems to be because of the high winds or from the heater. We arrived late otherwise we would have called to change the room. We found it a convenient location and planned to stay there mid December but not sure of this now. November 22, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by A great value hotel for a quick layover at Montreal Airport I stayed at this hotel for a quick overnight layover for my flights at Montreal Airport. The hotel has a great airport shuttle service which is located at the departure level (instead of arrival level). The hotel is designed very modern and functional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and with good features. I had a really good night sleep before I went onto my next early morning's flight. Great value for its price, offering, amenities and location / convenience at Montreal Airport. Highly recommend! October 3, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Very European Style. My wife and I found this hotel extremely pleasant. It was comparable to the 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed at while doing a tour of China a few years ago. The building itself was very clean and was decorated in a "Kitchee" style that was actually pulled off very well. it had a refreshing and curious look to it. The beds were very comfortable, and our concern of the rooms being quiet due to the proximity of the airport was not a concern at all. We would stay here again on a moments notice. September 22, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great airport proximity. We use your hotel because of the airport proximity, when we have an early flight out in the morning. We go to The Bifteque restaurant for the good food. We thought that the parking was going to be free, like the Sheraton, but it is safe and close parking. September 2, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointment 5th stay here. Convenient location to airport although difficult to find driving - spaghetti roads. Although I updated my credit info online and assured all was well, our room was not secured, There was a mix-up on the green option so we had no service for three days. Staff pleasant but under staffed at front desk. July 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good choice if you're driving If you're driving to Montréal, this is a good choice because of the parking lot. There's a parking fee, but it seems that everyone in the area charges that. Collusion, whatever. Pay the fee and move on. At least there was no fee for WiFi and it was reasonably quick. When I checked the other hotels in the immediate area, they charged for WiFi. The room was quieter than I thought it would be, since it's right next to the airport, and the shades really block all the light. As with most hotels, you can unplug the refrigerator to prevent it from cycling on and off all night. Since you're driving, you can drive approximately 15 minutes to downtown and park all day in one of the numerous garages for a reasonable price. Bonnes vacances July 7, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel close to airport Great stopover hotel for those who do not care if they stay in a full service hotel. Big comfy well equipped rooms. Good Re Fuel area with offerings of sandwiches and salads. There were breakfast items but I did not have time. Free 24 hr shuttle. Nice bar,and as I was travelling alone I felt comfortable by myself. Good friendly , helpful staff. Great value for the cost per night. Pool and gym. June 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Room was not cleaned one day. We stayed 3 nights and the room was not cleaned one day. he bed cover was lumpy as the fill had bunched up in several places. The concept is minimalist but attractive. The TV in the lobby was 4 screens divided by wide frames so the hockey was hard to watch. Desk staff were responsive. Also the room rate was good. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff responsiveness I always enjoy my stays at the Aloft. This time there were issues with the electronic access (key didn't work) and so I had to go back to check in and the friendly lady at the front desk came up with me and took off the cover plate which made the room key work Then once settled in, the pone didn't work so I went down again and the gentleman at the front desk came up with me, confirmed the phone was broken and took me to a new room. Great friendly response to a couple of glitches. May 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very pleasant surprise! This hotel certainly isn't like your traditional ones. The ambiance is very modern but comfortable. I really enjoyed the room set up, it was efficient and comfortable. Not huge, but I don't need a lot of empty space in a hotel room. I do wish that there was a bathtub, but the very large shower worked great and was pleasant. The shuttle service to and from the airport was extremely quick and appreciated. I have since stayed at another Aloft and can confirm that their setup and layout is consistent, which is a huge plus for me. May 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by VERY, VERY loud heaters....didn't sleep at all! The heaters in these rooms are very, very loud. Myself and a colleague in another room didn't sleep well because of the heaters that kept clicking on and off and were very loud. I didn't sleep well at all and woke up sick with a fever. I'm a big Starwood fan and SPG member; this heater problem is a real concern that Starwood should address. I'll never stay at this Aloft in Montreal again. February 12, 2014

Fairly priced, well run, front desk staff "Dara" exceptional; friendly, attentive, and efficient, even when doing check in, guest inquiry, and phone response all at once. February 2, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 not a hotel for kids the kids where disappointed with this hotel.they were not able to swim in the pool because of the high chlorine content nor could the parents sit around the pool area because of the chlorine. there was a pool table in the lounge area that the boys enjoyed the first night but were not allowed the 2nd night.WHY,...the kids were supervised the whole time.when we asked to talk to the manager ,we were told she wasnt in only to find out that we were talking to her.the kids will be picking the hotel again next year but it wont be this one January 19, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor attitude Recently stayed 3 nights. Parking in the lot was full the first night and had to park in the roadway at the suggestion of the receptionist. The following two nights we managed to find space in the lot but the lot was full of snow and parking was extremely difficult and treacherous, risk to both person and property. For this "service" we were charged $10 per night. When I complained to the general manager following my stay, I received a suggestion to park next door in a public pay lot at a preferential rate for hotel guests, - a lot which was completely clear of snow and which was not suggested as an option by staff during my stay - and and a defense of the appalling state of the hotel parking lot. Rated 4 out of 5 by Trendy The room was small, but space was used very effectively. I especially liked the way they let natural light into the washroom. The concierge, Claudio, was very helpful and suggested many restaurants and bars for us to check out. He was very friendly and made quite an impression on us. I thought the free parking for hybrids is a great idea too, even though many non-hybrid cars took over the reserved parking area. December 2, 2013
