Rated 5 out of 5 by AFaith10 Great Stay
Everything was almost perfect. The one think I would change is the ability to manage the temperature in the room. There is a control in the room but it would not lower the temp. It wasn't awful, just a little uncomfortable. The property is very nice. A few nice restaurants nearby.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JD1109 Worst Experience at a hotel
This hotel should shut down immediately. The room we stayed in had a broken toilet, broken air conditioning. They switched our room , the new room had a broken refrigerator and broken toilet. The rooms were dirty and were not properly cleaned. The staff promised to give my family a free night and they still charged us upon checkout. Terrible experience

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kelly4 Great location, attentive staff
We enjoyed the stay and the staff, especially at checkin, was extremely responsive to our request for adjoining rooms with an early checkin. My only recommendations would be to more regularly shampoo the carpets (both rooms had stains) and there were two desks but only one chair. Other than that I would absolutely stay there again! Super location, and nice comfortable atmosphere in the lobby.

If you are looking for just a place to sleep than this is the place for you. There really is no customer service. During check in I was only told my room number and Wi-Fi password. I was not told anything about what the hotel had to offer. I only knew there was a snack area because you have to walk by it to get to the elevators. The moment I walked into my room, I was greeted by a big round stain on the carpet (Room 420). I didn’t bother to call down because I was running late to a wedding and I was only staying for one night. Plus it's not like I am sleeping on the stain.
It was really awkward when I was checking out. While waiting for the elevator to go downstairs, there was also a housekeeper trying to go down as well. She told us to get on the elevator going up. It was very clear she did not want us to ride down with her. I did not take her suggestion and got onto the elevator with her. She did not let us go on first and did not push the cart to the side. She actually blocked us from entering the elevator, which is bizarre.
I barely interacted with the staff. The three times I did interact with them, it was unpleasant. Aloft is just a hotel. You can get the same service at a motel. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tracy2016 Trendy means incovenient
On check in our room was given away and we were offered a room with an air mattress. The manager was to call me back the next day and never did. There are no dresser drawers. There is no towel bar for hand towel by sink. There is no closet to hang a dress in. The bathroom door is a sliding wall. It does not latch or lock. There is no ice machine in the hotel. Going from the parking garage to rooms requires two elevator trips.

I stayed here for 3-4 nights in a row. 1st room AC unit wasn't working properly. 2nd room the AC nor the all in one media player wasn't working. I was told I was going to get credit, and all haven't received anything.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Vbnick Brown tap water
Never a good sign when you go to brush your teeth and the water from the tap is brown, yes brown. Granted it cleared up after about 30 seconds of the water running but sure doesn't leave a vote of confidence. Having flashbacks of being out of the country. . .
Also, and perhaps a bit petty but for an 18 dollar movie rental to be in standard definition is unacceptable this day and age. I don't expect UHD but at the least high definition as the min. standard, heck it was 18 bucks!
Too bad this is the only spg hotel nearby.
