Rated 1 out of 5 by Stay in Philadelphia I want to tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed our stay in Philadelphia. We were visiting her brother who is dying of cancer and It was very nice to have a comfortable room to relax and relieve stress.. Your staff were very accommodating. We would definitely recommend and stay at other locations around the world. Thanks Frank July 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by cleanlness Hotel room was great, clean well maintained and had a very user friendly design. lobby area needs a better scent system as it had a stale odor. Frot desk staff was awesome.very friendly and knowledgable about the area. Bar person seem to be a bit pre occupied and did not have the same aggresivly friendly demenor as your FD team. Rated 3 out of 5 by Recommended Sort of As an aLoft hotel, the layout is the same as a previous aLoft hotel I've stayed at. (Max 5 floors, XYZ bar, modern hip feel to interior as well as lobby) so I will go to the good and bad about this specific location. Good: The front desk people are incredibly friendly, and as a frequent traveler they greet you by name. Location is only 15 minutes away from downtown even with traffic. Gym is spacious, includes 2 treadmills, 3-4 ellipticals and 2 bikes. Rooms are very clean and I think their wall mounted LCD Tvs are the largest along the lines of 40" maybe. Bad: On one occasion, I was "walked" to another location 40 minutes away. Of my 10+ stays at this location this was the first time this happened. Things happen, but I would have preferred to be contacted by the management staff prior to my attempted check in that I was walked 40 miles away to reduce my travel time. For what it's worth, the staff did contact me afterwards and apologized which was nice. October 22, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs Improvement Airconditioning unit was extremely loud. It turns on (not as loud thou) even when it is off. The shower needs an update. I'd rather not think about stepping on the floor of the shower. Staff was excellent, internet was excellent, value is very good, but I would pay more for a quieter room and a decent shower. Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW! I spend about 30 weekends a year out in hotels. This was my first experience of an ALOFT hotel. Nothing but top notch all the way! The contemporary / european atmosphere was exciting from the entry and throughout. I am telling everone I frequently travel with about the great and very comfortable experience!! March 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by convenient place, fix the shuttle Staff very good. Shuttle arrangement was poorest ive ever seen in my 30 years of weekly travel. what was a 5 min. trip in, was a 30 min. return to airport simply because of trying to stuff people in an out of a undersized vehicle. Either buy a proper shuttle vehicle or run a lot more of them. November 9, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Room, very close to PHL Airport I had a nice room (2 windows overlooking PHL airport, but very quiet as well. The room is pretty modern compared to other hotels I have stayed at. There is a bar down by the lobby along with a pool table and some comfy chairs to hang out at. Definitely will stay at again if im in PHL soon. August 3, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Overall Experience Staff was wonderful - very helpful, inviting, and gracious. Location of hotel was also great. But, standard of cleanliness - not so much. A good vacuum of the entire place would be a good idea, as would a good cleaning of the shower in the room. Overall, I would go back to this hotel. April 11, 2013

The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional and so pleasant with every contact we had. I would definitely stay here again. October 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great Features, needs work I love the concept of your hotel! Love the design. However, the room was sub-par in cleanliness and upkeep. In the shower area it looks like it could be leaking and the grout was different colors, looking like a bad patch job. Due to cleanliness I will not recommend you. April 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice hotel, good branding We enjoyed our stay at Aloft, Philadelphia. The location was convenient, although a little hard to navigate at first. Room was spacious, amenities were good. Front desk service was fine. All in all, I'd give it a 9.5. Would stay here again, would stay at another Aloft. August 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience My son and I were very pleased with out stay at the Aloft Hotel in Philly. The hotel was "hip" enough for kids and for the adults. The rooms were beyond clean and very comfortable. Staff was excellent and went out of their way. I would highly suggest staying here. June 24, 2013

I would definitely stay at this property again. My flight had arrived early and property was very accomodating by letting me check into my room early. November 16, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Facility is showing its age At first blush, the facility looked like a standard Westin property, however when I got to my room it was another story. Shower was stained with cracked grout and gaps in the tile. Carpet was badly stained. Room did not smell fresh. Lighting in the shower was dim. December 10, 2012

Everyone from house keeping to food and beverage to the front desk staff was responsive and considerate of the guest needs. February 28, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Very new and contemporary. Hotel is very cool. Liked the way the bathroom is separated from the sleeping area in the room. Nice bar in the lobby. Not thrilled to pay for parking. Very close and convenient to Philadelphia Airport. January 7, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice place nice staff The shower drain was stopped up and the seal on the shower door was damaged and allowed the floor to get very wet. Drain was immediately repaired the next day upon request. Shower still deficient January 11, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Some good, some....so-so No place to sit other than in bed or the straightback (and not so comfortable) desk chair to watch TV. Nice upholstered 'bench' under the TV but not sure why... Great to have mini-fridge and setup allowing hookup to audio/video was nice suprise. May 10, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel maintenance is not responsive Room had not AC/Heating unit and toilet rain constantly. Called front desk at least 2x day to complain and report. Checked out 3 days later and no one ever responded and nothing was every fixed. Otherwise decent facilities and great location. May 28, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Locomotive in the room Clean hotel. The front desk staff were not particularly welcoming. Air conditioner in the room sounded like a freight train every time it came on. Had a terrible night sleep being woken up every 45 minutes or so by the air conditioner. September 21, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Shower Issues I have already emailed my concerns to spg but the shower in room 410 was not up to spg standards. Tile and grout in and around the shower was decrepit, filthy and had white stains throughout. I have a picture if you would like to see it. August 14, 2013
