Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Staff! I booked my ticket through one of those online booking sites (not directly with SPG) and found, when I arrived, that I did NOT have a reservation. Well, Philly seemed to be booked up! Danielle was amazing, not only did she find a room for me - but managed to help a number of other folks that had the same issue ("ghost booking") by finding them other rooms (let me tell you that was not an easy task!). And, she did it with an amazing attitude. I was very impressed. Regarding the hotel, I was very pleased. The room and the entire facility were clean, cute and, well, fun! I will certainly look at staying at aloft again! Very good value! June 21, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Location I had a late night arrival and was beat from a week of work so having the hotel be friendly, clean, and convenient was a welcome relief. The person who greeted me was super friendly -- wish I could remember her name. One item which was overlooked was the parking arrangements. There is a fee schedule at the ticket gate when you enter the parking. The front desk person didn't mention their validation process for parking when I checked in. After I inquired (BTW they do validate and there is no fee for parking for guests) everything was cool. June 16, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded expectations Excellent location...5-10 minutes to Philadelphia airport via free hotel shuttle. pet friendly no extra charge. very quiet room despite planes flying directly overhead. staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. room was clean...decor is modern European. bed very comfortable. no restaurant on premise. Well stocked but small help yourself shopette in the lobby.. food was fresh. June 3, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs Better Customer Service The hotel appearance was very clean and in order. However, the staff at the front desk was a little un-informative, if I must say. We were told that a shuttle was available to take us to the airport to catch the train and also available to pick us up at the airport, every 20 minutes. After waiting at the airport for about 15 minutes for the shuttle, the driver slowed down at the designated stop and decided to keep going. We tried to call the hotel and the front desk put us on hold for 8 minutes, without any notice. The shuttle driver finally showed up again, about 15 minutes later. May 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sweet & Awesome Awesome stay, however we did have a few bumps in the road with the rooms, bu t the staff exceedingly, and swiftly corrected the two problems. Kudos to the staff, they jumped right on it. I had a cracked mirror in the room when we checked in, and they moved us to another room. We go to the other room and there was water from someone turning off the refrigerator over the bathroom floor, but the housekeeping personal was a few doors away and was highly glad to take care of it for us. The carpet was a little wet, and the housekeeping personal left a few bathmats to keep our feet dry. Great staff, but overall a good stay. May 29, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Modern stylings are appreciated Upon check in my room was immediately switched as requested (from 2 double beds to 1 king). There were several areas of what appeared to be dried blood on the carpet under the bed platform which I did not notice until the evening. I reported this to the front desk staff who indicated she would bring it to the attention of a manager. I did not request a room change as the stains were not in my walking path. No manager followed up with me so I do not know if the matter was reported or not. There are no snacks served at the bar, which I found unusual and inconvenient, so I purchased a bag of Doritos from the nearby snack bar. May 28, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel maintenance is not responsive Room had not AC/Heating unit and toilet rain constantly. Called front desk at least 2x day to complain and report. Checked out 3 days later and no one ever responded and nothing was every fixed. Otherwise decent facilities and great location. May 28, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel Experience There were bugs in my hotel room. The bugs were attracted to the shower and toilet area and there were a lot of them. The bed wasn't all that comfortable, The staff was great though. Their customer service was exceptional. May 13, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by If Aloft calibrated their brand to this hotel, people would,abandon most other brands The attentiveness of the team...especially a gal named Angel was amazing! She not only remembered names but also was proactive to make sure everything was handled proactively. For example, she remembered I needed a ride to the airport and immediately asked when I came down if I needed it. Then, she double checked to make sure the shuttle was coming without asking. You can tell she loves her job and knows how to care for guests. If all Aloft front desk teams were like her, I would not stay anywhere else. Unfortunately, Aloft services quality varies tremendously as I have experienced. May 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Will stay somewhere else next visit to Philly I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last three years. Sometimes once a month. The hotel is starting wear. My last two visits required a maintenance call as the TV wasn't working. This week I would have had to call maintenance twice as I could not get any local TV channels. The hallways always appear to need vacumming. Last stay my shower had grout all over the bath tiles. Sloppy. Will pay more to stay somewhere else on my next visit. May 11, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by very nice The hotel was great. Very clean and roomy for me and my boyfriend. The only problems was when we checked in our original room was not cleaned from whoever had the room prior to us. So they had to change rooms. Also a little noisy but being so close to the airport, I kind of expected it. But I would stay again good for a overnight trip. May 5, 2013

Wish there were some healthier egg options for breakfast though (and that the bar would stay open until 1am as I arrived on a late flight and bar was already closed when I got to hotel at 11:55pm Shuttle bus driver was extra helpful the next morning and the aloha desk agents were very pleasant May 3, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Would have been a great stay I normally love staying at Aloft hotels however when my friend and I got off the elevator the entire hallway on the second floor reaked of weed. It was horrible like someone stood there smoking. We went into our room and it didnt smell and we were very tired so we just tried to relax. Around 10pm the smell in the room was so horrific we called downstairs to complain. We couldn't breathe it smelled so bad and my friend has asthma. They said they would send up security. A little while later security knocked on our door and asked if we had complained they said yes. They then proceeded to knock on every door in our hallway asking people if it was them. We heard an argument break out a short time later but then the security guards just left and nothing happened. The smell lingered a bit but we were only staying for one night and extremely tired and while we would have liked another room none was offered to us, nor was an apology or what seemed to be a resolution to the problem. We thought the situation could have been handled much better. No mention of an apology or anything was given to us upon checkout either. April 29, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by The Aloft The Hotel is quiet and for what it is a nice place to stay. We had issues with the temperature in the room. We went several rounds with the staff and the technical team. At the end they replaced the whole unit which fixed part of the issue but even the unit that was replaced had an issue. I cannot knock the hotel as if this had not been an issue the stay would have been great. April 26, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great Features, needs work I love the concept of your hotel! Love the design. However, the room was sub-par in cleanliness and upkeep. In the shower area it looks like it could be leaking and the grout was different colors, looking like a bad patch job. Due to cleanliness I will not recommend you. April 17, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by got no housekeeping service No houskeeping came on Saturday. Even the hallway trash/recycle bin wasn't emptied in the 2 days I was there. Mildew on shower floor was gross. April 16, 2013
