Rated 5 out of 5 by Admoseley Enjoyed my time here
This hotel met all our needs, it's a short walking distance to many stores, bts, and malls. Complimentary tuktuk off the street was very helpful as well. The style has a very modern and uptodate feel we were looking for and appreciated. Kind and helpful staff paid attention to all our questions and needs. You guys were great :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Aeronic Doing Great!
Stayed here for the 5th time and it's still nice.
Great comfort at value-for-money prices! Brought my frens to stay for this trip too and they loved the hotel as well.
Only thing that probably needs improvement is that the hotel probably needs to add the frequency of the TukTuk service as well as extend the service till slightly later, probably to before midnight?
As the hotel is becoming popular and facing high occupancy rates daily, it is necessary to do so as more of the guests would use the free shuttle service. Moreover, the hotel is rather deep inside the street. Hence, it would help if the hotel increase the number of TukTuks to cater to the increasing number of guests at the hotel.
Otherwise, staff are friendly and cheerful as usual and I look forward to your new promotions and to seeing you again. =)

Rated 5 out of 5 by hanuman One night in Bangkok
The song goes with "it makes your world crumble." Not in this case. I have used this hotel many times for a one-night while in transit in Bangkok. The hotel is wonderful, the personnel fantastic and the rooms are quite impressive. If you are into parties, the Sukhumvit Rd is the place to be, but the hotel also tender to hose wanted to rest before a long flight back home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by berniefromBali my second time here
I came back to Aloft and I will again next time in Bangkok. One guy at tthe reception has been particularly helpful to call your IT person and allowed me to book an airline ticket at the last minute.
On the other hand, only one time I have been disappointed at the restaurant as we sat down at a table for at least 10 minutes and I had to call somebody to take our order and set up the table.
Proof that business depends on people....
I plan to come back in May nest year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by galactic Good location for leisure in Bangkok
Stayed 2 nights at Aloft Bangkok. It is located just 5 minutes walk from the BTS station (Nana), Aloft Bangkok has it all, from BTS access, convenience stores/24-hour supermarket, bars, clubs, restaurants, street-food stalls in the area (though expect busy traffic by taxi and it gets a little crowded at night). and close to both BKK and DMK airports. The staffs are well trained and professional, room is spacious and the mattress is fantastic. Will definitely come back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AMDH Fantastic hidden gem
This place is a little world unto its own. the hotel provides a great location for those travellers who want to explore the nightlife that Bangkok has to offer. The club attached is definitely worth checking out, and so is the awesome wxyz Bar - they do amazing molecular cocktails!
The rooms are well appointed with all the necessary trimmings and little touches that make your stay that bit more carefree, like an inroom coffee machine and take-away cups! Such a simple, but intuiative and practical idea! This idea is extended downstairs to the grab-and-go deli style canteen-esque area which is brilliant for a quick refresher or pick-me-up during the day.
The pool area is a nice little retreat from the happenings of down below and provide a recluse for those who so desire it.
Over all, this hotel is a definite stay for those wanting to explore the somewhat, 'inner' heart beat of Bangkok, but still be connected to it all.
Loved my stay! Thank you Aloft Bangkok Team!

Rated 4 out of 5 by clnsen Yet another decent stay
We have stayed so many times at the Aloft Sukhumvit 11, we love the location for nightlife and proximity to our favourite hangouts.
I hope the lunch buffet will be back for high season.
Thanks to the barkeeper for making perfect Mai Tai cocktails on request after the original recipe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Spuller Coolest hotel at Sukhumvit Soi 11
This is my third time staying at Aloft Bangkok. All expectations remain the same except I was a little disappointed with the air con in my room. Although set at 22.5 degrees, the room felt stuffy and sleeping was a rather uncomfortable experience. Frankly, the hotel lobby was much cooler than my room! Nevertheless, the Cocktail Madness at W XYZ Bar was very innovative and fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 This hotel has great features and location
The Aloft is strategically located to transport, entertainment and shopping. You can walk easily to Sukhumvit Road 200m. It is a high quality hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. The quality of the food was excellent and the decor very well done. Important for the working traveller is the nice coffee shop for fast cups and quality take out or in food when you are on the go. I will be staying here from now on for my next visits.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Andy2312 Happy Hour, not so joyful
Nursing an extreme thirst, went to the advertised happy hour at 21:50, on arrival - it was due to end at 22:00. Told. with much guffaws of laughter by the bar staff that since the till computer was out of synch with the regular clock, happy hour had already finished; the receptionist likewise found this shortcoming hilarious when it was reported to him,
Nice hotel, spoilt by poor service on the only occcasion staff were required to perform.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Aeronic Trendy as usual
This is my fourth time staying at Aloft. It is the usual trendy and comfortable place, great for the young travellers.
I did realise this time that the hotel is getting more and more crowded, which is a good thing since it means the hotel is good and hence popular. However, it did mean that the service is slower than usual too. I came in the evening and all 3 lines of check-in is taken up and I was waiting for about 10-15minutes before I managed to check in. The reception staff did however, offered me a rm upgrade (which is partly due to the high occupancy) as well as gave me a rm one the highest floor which came as a surprise.
Would be good if the hotel is more abled to cope with the rise in occupancy rate. The tuk-tuks and check-ins take longer waits these days. However, kudos to the young, friendly and lovely staff for making things so nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by paul577 Ordinary Hotel, TERRIBLE Location
This hotel could be described as cheap and cheerful and in some ways that is the image it tries to project. Certainly the staff are pleasant and friendly. The hotel itself is very ordinary ( think old IKEA, chipped and worn).
SPG recognition is zero; I got exactly the room for which I paid (ok, but I didn't anticipate getting a view of laundry drying on the balconies of the apartment building next door). very ordinary room. Swimming pool is minsicule and sunless.
The location is simply awful ( more than halfway down the straight part of Soi 11).
Someone suggested an easy walk from Nana BTS...certainly possible without luggage but far from easy. The area itself is far from chic, hip or sassy ( as promoted by the property). Sleazy would be a more accurate description. This place might be fun for youngish singles or couples but definitely not for families or more mature guests.
Breakfast was good.. Couldn't recommend this hotel other than for price.

I chose this property as it is a short walk to Bumrungrad Hospital, where I had some medical tests, because it offers some killer rates, and to have my first Aloft experience.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a slew of perky, professional staff who know how to make you welcome. The check in was quick and friendly and I was soon on my way through the vibrant, hip lobby to my room on the 29th floor. As others have noted, the rooms are not large, but they are well laid out, comfortable and colourful. I loved the enviromental friendliness of shampoo & soap dispensers in the over-sized shower, the ample number of plugs, the thoughtful touch of providing a night light and complimentary wi-fi. In addition, the public areas (pool, gym, restaurants & bars) are visual delights and Soi 11 offers a multitude of culinary treats. For around US$70, you can't go wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacks0987 No need to leave the hotel
I have been to Bangkok a couple time and for me personally I don't Bangkok but this time it was a great trip because if staying at Aloft!!! There is no need to leave the hotel and deal with the stressful atmosphere of Bangkok. Aloft has everything; amazing restaurant, great bar, fun club and most importantly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I will definately be coming back here when I go to Bangkok again! Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Henk Great hotel, but aircon unstable
The temperature in the room (rm 2505) s difficult to regulate. I had to arrange the temperature below 20C at night to be a bit comfortable (I assess the T was around 25C) and the T fluctuates during the night from cold to warm. The "low" setting even makes quite some noise.
It is not this particular room, as I have noticed it before in other rooms as well.
Hope sth can be done on it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wing Important improvement
Stay in Aloft Bangkok gave me comfortable feeling as usual. However one unexpected situation on the second morning this time. When I take shower early morning. I was naked and waiting for hot water for several minutes. And finally I have to use cold water for shower. After shower, I have been noticed that the hot water system was failure.
I understand accident may happen. But I think guest should be noticed that earlier.

Everything was great except breakfast. While most everything was great, the fruit at breakfast was not ripe, it lacked any flavor. The 2 dinners I ate were awesome, lunch buffet spectacular. Just the fruit such a tiny expense for the hotel, kind of changed my opinion. This would almost be a 4 star with the improvements. Ima lifetime platinum, but either the upgrade to suite wasn't available or the upgrade wasnt granted.

I stayed in room 2313 then moved to 2314. There was an issue with the piping for the water in that there was air trapped inside the pipes and this caused loud vibrations every 20-30 mins. In room 2314 the same issue due to the pipe system. Also in this room th eshower fittings for the hot/cold water came away from the housing. I would not expect this in such a new hotel. I stayed 3 weeks previous without any issues

Rated 4 out of 5 by Funloving365 Great New Hotel
Since arriving on the Bangkok scene a year ago aLoft has brought a refreshing new option to Sukhumvit Road. It is ideally located for night life and rooms are modern and clean. Staff are also very helpful and I would recommend you try Breeze restaurant at least once during your stay. As far as nightlife is concerned you do not need to go more than 100m from the hotel to find great restaurants, bars, and clubs catering from gourmet to great street food.
If there is anything I would criticise I would say that the pool does not get the sun in the afternoon but are plenty of other things to do in Bangkok, save tanning till you go to the beach. Also beware of taxis parked outside as they will try to overcharge you, general rule is to only pickup moving taxis and insist they use the meter as soon as you get in.
This is the only aLoft I have been to but think this is a great concept and have already recommended this hotel to friends

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wolf61 My stay in Alofy Bangkok
I want to give a special thanks to Aloft Bangkok because my room was large and comfortable.
Every day I relaxed in the pool after a session in the gym (maybe a barbell bench press needed to improve the gym tools), in the evenings shopping in the thousand malls of the city (skytrain station is nearby) and during the night revelry, because the hotel is at center of Bangkok nightlife.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MichelleC Impeccable personal service at this hotel
We has stayed from 27/11/2012 to 2/12/2012. We were impressed by the very personal service extending by the front desk, especially the Front Office Manager. From helping with our booking confirmation to looking for direction of a restaurant to recommendation of places to go in Bangkok, he has added a personal touch to it. We would definitely recommend this place if you prefer a more personalized services.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Que0702 Very Helpful Staff
Location is good, just 5 mins walk from BTS Nana station and hotel also offers Tuk Tuk from the hotel to the airport. Overall all the staff were helpful. We left the hotel for Hua HIn on the third night of our trip, hotel helped alot in helping us get a taxi at night (as it is already 9pm and it takes 3hours to Hua Hin). Then, the next day, we realised that one of our luggages was missing! We believed that it was left in the taxi the night we arrived... We had no hope but tried to contact the concierge staff that morning. They called us the same day afternoon and let us know the GOOD NEWS! They contacted the taxi driver and he sent back our box back to the hotel for us. But, we were planning to go to the airport directly from Hua Hin and we did not have any spare time to go back to the hotel and get it back. The staff helped to send our box to the airport for us, all we have to do is to pay for the taxi fare. And they even followed up by callssss and emailsss. We really appreciated their help. Without them, we would not be able to get our box back before we fly home. They are really helpful and responsible. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and I will come back again for sure!

A budget hotel (so the staff said) that is above many I have been too.
Will stay in Aloft Beijing when I visit next year.
Enjoyed my stay.
