Rated 5 out of 5 by 2nd stay - great as always This is my second stay with the hotel and obviously like my previous review everything was great. They recognised me so well and everything was well taken care of. The product is nice but however have two issues that i would like to point out. Firstly in a city like chennai giving one bottle of water per day is just criminal. you can have rules but it has to be something sensible. Let me ask the owners of the hotel if they drink only one litre of water every day ???? Secondly - what is withthe towels in the room. Why cant you guys provide more than one towel. Its a shame that such a wonderful hotel and team members are not able to provide two basic stuff . Anyways this will never change the impresion about this lovely hotel but hope you guys look into such things ! I hope to see this monor chages when i come back next time ! hopefully by the first week oj jan November 21, 2014

The Staff & Service is prompt & every staff member is too humble & service oriented / greets even if passed/crosses guest. keep up the good work. But the drawback is its food quality & pricing is real absured. you should improve on this alot....!!! October 20, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by very poor stay i had stayed in this hotel number of times and i find the in room dining very poor and staff is not responsive but this time it was the limits. i had dialled the room service 4 times in one hour to order a dessert and each time i was told that they will call back. very disappointing, infact i called the duty manager to the room and instead of getting me dessert he didnt even touch on the subject and just said i will look into the feedback as its genuine. i wonder what would have changed? Rated 2 out of 5 by Aloft Chennai - Average service Room a/c was not cool enough. Was sweating through the night. Reported the issue and maintenance said AC filter was clogged and cleaned it promptly but this did not result in any significant improvement. Had to inform the staff at reception twice to keep 2 bath towels in the room and replace fresh water bottles everyday. Laundry slip was missing and not replaced. Restaurant service was absolutely pathetic. Tables did not have napkins, salt/pepper, butter, etc and I had to request for it almost on daily basis. Will not consider staying here next time. Rated 3 out of 5 by Stay at Aloft Chennai My stay with Aloft has been good with receptive staff and polite drivers. The room was also spacious and well kept for the duration of my 19 day stay. The food was also good and served hot in all instances. However, I find the internet connection at my room to be very poor. I have to get a local 3g since even Facebook page takes minutes to load even after a router has been installed in my room. Checks have been made by IT on few days but it didn't really improve the connection. This is very critical since I am travelling on business and needs to do some work from the hotel which I wasn't able to do so effectively not until I paid for my own 3G service. July 6, 2014
