Rated 5 out of 5 by Slim59 Everything was good except for when we went to the Front Desk and asked the young lady could we move to another room because we were having problems with the AC without even looking she said you were booked up, but yet while we were standing their people were walking in asking for rooms and she searched and found rooms for them. I thought this to be totally unprofessional. Maybe she did it because we are a Lesbian couple this incident happened late in the evening on Sunday, around 8:00pm. Everyone else at the Aloft were very pleasant and helpful. September 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love Aloft Aloft hotels are great hotels. I stay with Aloft every time I travel. This one had the best views of the business district. Surprisingly, this was not as clean as I'm accustomed to with Aloft. This is fixable so I hope they tweak a few things to get on par with the rest of the hotels. Otherwise, great staff. Super friendly and helpful when needed. There is always one bad apple, but we'll just hope he moves to a competitor's company! September 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful Stay...Confusing Shuttle The accommodations and service were very good. Be warned if you take the shuttle. Instructions given by staff were vague and inaccurate. The shuttle is manage by Chariots for Hire and pick up across from the King Street Metro in the parking lot on the hour and leave National Harbor on the 1/2 hour. If you have your own transportation this isn't a problem. After a long day of meetings in DC I enjoyed the relaxed and interesting vibe of the National Harbor. September 18, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Experience I've never stayed at a hotel that meet every one of my expectations. From making sure my discount was applied correctly. The service was great. I was meet with a great smile. All the amenities were explained to me in great detail. I love the entire atmosphere of the hotel and room. It wasn't teh 5 star $1000 a nite experience but I loved every bit of it. The staff the setting, the decor was exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend the hotel and I will go back. Even like the fact that I could just hang out in the lounge area with a bar right at my fingertips and not have to go anywhere if I didnt want. January 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, awful checkin While the rooms were satisfactory and the hotel itself is in a great location, it took 40 minutes to get us checked in. More communication on the state of our rooms would have been preferable as we arrived close to 10PM and were starving and tired. September 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Location I checked in on Monday Aug 4 to blasting music in the lobby. Music was played by the hotel, it was loud and very unprofessional. Yes there was a party going on, but the music level was an immediate turn off. Apparently you are a "pet friendly" hotel, but allow dogs to be left in their rooms alone and to bark. Not good. Next, I had a temperature sensitive box delivered to the hotel at 11:30am on 8/6. The front desk never made an attempt to notify me that there was a delivery for me. It wasn't until 9:30pm when I went to the desk to ask that they acknowledged they had it. It was chocolate covered strawberries for my birthday. Yes they had melted and were ruined. Thank you for that ! It clearly said Sherry's Berry's all over the box. Want more ? Rosean made arrangements for car pickup, that was fine. I waited out front for Sabina to pick me up at 9:30 on 8/7. She walked past me and went to front desk to ask about me, front desk said they didn't have my name or cell #. YOU DID ! Rosean texted me the confirmation the night before...In the meantime Sabina got a $25 ticket,,.,,you owe her $25.. August 8, 2014
