My first experience with Aloft and I am a believer. I requested an airport pick-up in advance and all was flawless. The attractive reception staff was upbeat and friendly. I loved having the take-away food shop in the lobby and the cool vibe of the mostly young and attractive clientele.
The room was as fine and chic as those of this chain's big sister.
Outstanding was the setting of the rooftop pool - pure Hollywood glamour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SalkiniFamily A Frank Evaluation of Aloft
1) Besides some minor issues which no hotel is perfect for, Alfot Abu Dhabi in overall has left us with a very pleasant impression, from the reservation helpful staff (Mr. Ziad) to the reception staff, to the restaurant very helpful staff, all were amazing whom we all greatly thank for making our stay unforgettable.
2) The Hotel location was also great being part of the exhibition exhibition complex that hosted the Summer Abu Dhabi Festival during our stay, and also its location near to Shk. Zayed Mosque and in between Ferrari World and Marina Mall area.
3) The Aloft Restaurant food was one of the best we have tasted, and I could even say it was better than what we have tasted at Dubai's top hotels this summer.
4) Finally and most important of all is the value and overall experience that exceeded by far what we actually had paid for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Aman4075 The Unexpected!!
We arrived early morning with a request for an early check-in. We had to wait for some time but to be very frank, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!
We liked the concept of keeping pool table in the lobby area. Something to keep us occupied while waiting for the room.
MARCE at the reception was extremely courteous and helpful at the same time. We could not have got a better room that this.
Room was spacious, comfy and had a stunning view outside.
Apparently, few things i noticed could actually help the guests.
1) In-room service menu.
2) some kind of a guide about the hotel facilites.
All in all, the best weekend at a perfect hotel for us.
will surely be coming back soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by James The location is excellent.
This is a relatively new hotel located next to the convention center. It is very trendy in it's design and I am more of a traditionialist. I arrived in the middle of the night and observed what I thought were laundry bags in the elevator lobby. They turned out to be "Fatboy" seats of some kind. In 7 nights at the hotel, I did not see anyone sit in these and most thought they were strange. It is difficult to get service at the front desk. It is not staffed adequately and the wait to speak with someone is longer than it should be. Many of the staff are not knowledgeable about the hotel and the general area. You need to ask several people before you can get the information you are seeking. The room is very simply furnished. The bed and desk areas were comfortable. However, there was not an easy chair or sofa. There was one chair with a back--not really comfortable for watching tv. The breakfast buffet was excellent with great variety. However, the staff was more interested in cleaning than in getting a coffee for the guests. It is strictly self-service. Service at the WXYZ Bar, the poolside bar, and the rooftop bar was fine. The rooftop bar had a great view of the area as well. It was disappointing that there is no executive lounge in the hotel. The website said that laundry facilities were available, however, there is only 1 machine for over 400 rooms in the hotel. It was impossible to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Daudzai Food was excellent and resturant staff were very nice
I wanted to make a internation call, i give me credit card info to the reception, and they said they unblocked the phone, however, it never worked.
In addition, on the check out day, I checked out and let the receptionist knew that I was waiting for the Eithad airways pick up service, the Eithad pick up service person came in, and he wasn't given any information about me. He was waiting at the front desk for 25 minutes and I was waiting in the lobby (few meters away on the same floor, as we didn't knew each other.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Vincos Best of the Aloft Lot but Not As Good as it Should Be
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Admittedly, I am not a fan of this brand. I am not a millennial and do not confuse a casual fun approach with the near-complete lack of service dedication and hospitality training which seem to be my experience with most Aloft properties. Having said that, this property stands out for leaning more up than down.
SPG RECOGNITION: Upgrade not really possible as all rooms are cookie-cutter. No in-room amenity. I tried to organize an airport transfer in advance and, although a Platinum Ambassador guest, was asked to complete so many formalities (three interchanges, one fax, guarantee of payment, etc) that I became exasperated! If the request is coming from a Starwood Ambassador, the guest is good for his money, right? Lose the hoops!
THE ROOM: Yeah, yeah, I hear the argument for consistency and all that but the dulling sameness of every Aloft I have ever been in - down to the same stripy bolster on the bed - is frankly boring. If I wanted “no surprises,” there is that other brand with 3000 properties that all look exactly alike…
LOCATION: On the grounds of the Convention Center. Convenient to the airport but not really in town.
EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS: There are two stand-outs that permit this property to tower above other Alofts. Firstly, the proper, high-quality restaurant offers a truly superlative breakfast buffet which is infinitely preferable to the catch-as-catch-can of the grab-and-go approach in most other properties. Secondly, the gorgeous roof-top pool area is truly worthy of a five-star resort.
DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS: I make a real effort and expense to maintain a high loyalty level with Starwood because I love all the perks associated…so when I come into a hotel after a 15 hour flight - and find no one at the door to greet me or help with luggage - then get to a reception desk where the clerk has to ask me for my Platinum card before she can check me in, I am rather disappointed. Especially knowing that my Starwood Ambassador would have advised the property to be on “high alert!” In all fairness, having mentioned this in the post-stay survey, I did receive a very adequate apology/response from the management.
ONE THING TO KNOW: If the point is to enjoy AD per se, you might better consider a property along the Corniche or on Saadiyat Island. For a flight layover, it can’t be beat.

I absolutely love the hotel. The design is so modern. The bed was so comfortable and i didn't feel like getting up in the mornings. The staff was so friendly and helpful and really added to my experience at your hotel.
I do have one negative point and that was the hotel security guy who was a the entrance at so-high was a rude person he did bring our night down a bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sadman best aloft i have stayed in....
just finished a 3 night stay here & i'm extremely impressed with this property....
used 3 suite nights to upgrade my stay & got a breezy suite....its basically one large room with a sitting area....
platinum members get free breakfast in addition to the 250 amenity points....breakfast has lots of hot & cold items to choose from & was one of the best i've had in a long time....
internet was fast & reliable....i was also able to log on with 4 devices without a problem....
had dinner at the maї café one night....great atmosphere & good food....
ordered room service twice & both times the food was delivered on time & was very good....
i didn't mind the location too much....its midway from the airport & the city so i was never more than 15-20 minutes away from where i needed to be....
at the end of the day this is the best aloft property i have stayed in & i would definitely stay here again when back in abu dhabi....

Excellent and new hotel, with great location for adnec events. Great pool area and very confortable room. The staff gave 110% effort to please any request I made!
The only drawbacks are that in the nearby area there isn't anything but adnec and the hotel lacks a great restaurant (they are all good anyway).
I will absolutely return here

The ALoft is very close to my project job site. I can easily walk to my job trailer. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
I love large showers and the ALoft has a great shower.
I enjoyed the buffet dinner. The chef even prepared my pasta just the way I like it.
I am looking forward to my next project meeting.

What a great find! This hotel was a last minute booking and we were expecting a run of the mill hotel. How wrong we were. It was fab! Great spacious room with very comfy bed, trendy bathroom and super pool area with lots of seating and sunbeds. Will return if we are in Abu Dhabi again.

I stayed to Aloft Hotel for a week, while taking part in SIAL Exhibition.
Excellent service, very good breakfast, clean room and a wonderful pool bar!
After a stressful and tiresome day, Aloft was my hideaway, before the night exit!

Nice and beautifully designed rooms. Food was great with so many options of restaurants/cuisine. Staff could actually be properly coached on procedure, although this wasn't much of an issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nick291 Great staff
Cool and very vibrant hotel. Nice rooms, good breakfast, excellent fitness and real high speed internet. The only negative thing is the location - hotel is in the middle of nowhere but it is absolutely FANTASTIC if you are attending a fair at ADNEC. Literally 1 minute walk!!! City is about 20 minutes by car and taxis are dirt cheap in UAE.
Housekeeping could be better though but things happen and not all the employees are the same.
Fantastic SPG recognition!!! Got an upgrade to a suite (even though upgrades at Aloft is not a part of the SPG benefits) and tons of vouchers for discounts and free drinks.
Staff is really very helpful and friendly.

This a good hotel if you have a business in the neighborhood(which is not very touristy) rooms are large comfortable and clean but our room airconditioner wouldn't slow down unless turned off and so it was very cold!.. The best part about the hotel was it's staff .. Specially at the reception.. They were very friendly and helpful (we needed some documents printed and copied and they helped a lot) but the worst part was that no sanitary or dental kit or even a pen was available in the room.. Some you could get by calling housecleaning or buy some from roomservice.. ..Does it realy save that much money? Realy damaged the comfort of the room

Rated 5 out of 5 by sam46 Excellent experience, people are great.
The Hotel was a great experience and the people always went out of their way to help. They are self motivated and since I am an SPG member, I was treated with extra help and found this hotel to be one of the best experiences I have. All SPG Hotels should learn how to treat their guests from this hotel.
The facilities were excellent and up to my own standards with no doubts. Thanks to the many people we have met working at the hotel from the front desk Manager to the SPG Coordinator (Racholle). and a special regards to all the front desk people who were very helpfull, every time we requested a special something. I recommend this hotel with out any question to all people. besides, parking is available and free and at ADNEC you do not have to put up with traffic down town AD..

Rated 1 out of 5 by GeorgeNN Cheapness covered in modern design
When nobody picks up the phone at the reception after 10 attempts over the course of a few hours, you know this place is disorganized.
When laundry is consistently delivered late in the eveneing no matter how early in the morning it was sent, you know it may get lost, and it did!
Restaurant food is mediocre, and service politely incompetent. Sorry, but smiles don't cover for incompetence.
Strobe lights from the pool shining into the room at night do not make for comfortable sleeping conditions. Thoughtfulness was not present in the hotel staff.
Location is horrible for going out in the evening.
I can go on and on...

I was very unhappy with the stay here. I have been to many hotels but this was the first that to a 4 star hotel which did not have toothbrush, paste, bathroom slippers, shavin kit nothing was included in the room. Service also is very dissapointing..We had booked 2 rooms, one room they called and asked to vacate by 12.00 and other room they gave us till 1.00, we were ready by 1 and asked for bell boy that guy came at 2.00..when we asked for extension they just refused saying 12.00 need to check out...Checking in the hotel also took a lot of time when its EID holidays there should have been more staff to handle the rush. Overall a dissapointing stay for the price i paid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dmsf Worst Experience ever at this hotel
I stayed at the ALOFT 8th November thru 18th November and this was not my first visit to this hotel. Each previous visit has been very pleasant and enjoyed my stay.
This time, what a change, every morning I was woken up by building work above me at first light, with what sounds like cutting machines trimming corrugated roofing, an unbelievable noise. I appreciate the work is done at the coolest tomes, but what about your guests, do you not consider their comfort!
Then the most incredible thing happened, you hosted a pool party on the Friday Night 14th November with full DJ equipment and the noise was immense. This noise continued through to after 4:00 am, so bad that I have actually recorded the noise in my bedroom for future reference if required. I was absolutely dumbfounded to think that the hotel had no intention to either warn or move guests to the other side of the hotel. My party of 4 people stayed in total for 31 nights over this period, what a disappointing experience and total embarrassment for me after recommending your establishment. Truly disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by PistolPete Lovely hotel but staff was really poor
Good design however the phone in the room didn't work throughout my entire stay.
Service was bad. At breakfast, the staff was busy socialising between themselves and kept ignoring the customers. Also they were noisy in their conversations. Floor was dirty, a guest dropped some food, and the staff just left it there. Was not offered anything to drink. Asked if a food item I wanted contained sugar but got no answer and it turned out it was full of sugar.
Worst was when I ordered sea food platter. The mussels shells were all broken with end result that lots of tiny pieces were mixed with the actual food. When I mentioned it to the staff, I got a dismissive response. I did not eat it but ended up paying for it.
