Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel What a great find! This hotel was a last minute booking and we were expecting a run of the mill hotel. How wrong we were. It was fab! Great spacious room with very comfy bed, trendy bathroom and super pool area with lots of seating and sunbeds. Will return if we are in Abu Dhabi again. October 31, 2013

Excellent service, very good breakfast, clean room and a wonderful pool bar! After a stressful and tiresome day, Aloft was my hideaway, before the night exit! December 3, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A good experience My experience at aloft Abu Dhabi was great, but I found that ones level of satisfaction was directly tied to whom they interacted with in the staff. For instance, I was checked in by a fantastic employee Rochelle who explained everything to me. My colleague was checked in by another girl and and walked away confused and with no information about what was included with our room packages. Rochelle spent the rest of my 2 week stay checking in on us, asking if there is anything we needed, and was spot on with all her recommendations. Truly a shining star and my interaction with her made me feel at home and taken care of. The serving and bar staff overall was good, but again hit or miss. I either had a great experience with attentive staff, or a poor experience with staff that seemingly ignored me until i flagged them down for service... even though it was clear they weren't doing anything else. Becky in the buffet dining hall was our saving grace though as she was kind, courteous, and was really on top of her stuff. Overall a great experience mixed with outstanding and below average. If the hotel had more people like Rochelle and Becky the sky would be the limit. May 20, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff gready management This a good hotel if you have a business in the neighborhood(which is not very touristy) rooms are large comfortable and clean but our room airconditioner wouldn't slow down unless turned off and so it was very cold!.. The best part about the hotel was it's staff .. Specially at the reception.. They were very friendly and helpful (we needed some documents printed and copied and they helped a lot) but the worst part was that no sanitary or dental kit or even a pen was available in the room.. Some you could get by calling housecleaning or buy some from roomservice.. ..Does it realy save that much money? Realy damaged the comfort of the room June 3, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff Cool and very vibrant hotel. Nice rooms, good breakfast, excellent fitness and real high speed internet. The only negative thing is the location - hotel is in the middle of nowhere but it is absolutely FANTASTIC if you are attending a fair at ADNEC. Literally 1 minute walk!!! City is about 20 minutes by car and taxis are dirt cheap in UAE. Housekeeping could be better though but things happen and not all the employees are the same. Fantastic SPG recognition!!! Got an upgrade to a suite (even though upgrades at Aloft is not a part of the SPG benefits) and tons of vouchers for discounts and free drinks. Staff is really very helpful and friendly. I have been to many hotels but this was the first that to a 4 star hotel which did not have toothbrush, paste, bathroom slippers, shavin kit nothing was included in the room. Service also is very dissapointing..We had booked 2 rooms, one room they called and asked to vacate by 12.00 and other room they gave us till 1.00, we were ready by 1 and asked for bell boy that guy came at 2.00..when we asked for extension they just refused saying 12.00 need to check out...Checking in the hotel also took a lot of time when its EID holidays there should have been more staff to handle the rush. Overall a dissapointing stay for the price i paid. October 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely hotel but staff was really poor Good design however the phone in the room didn't work throughout my entire stay. Service was bad. At breakfast, the staff was busy socialising between themselves and kept ignoring the customers. Also they were noisy in their conversations. Floor was dirty, a guest dropped some food, and the staff just left it there. Was not offered anything to drink. Asked if a food item I wanted contained sugar but got no answer and it turned out it was full of sugar. Worst was when I ordered sea food platter. The mussels shells were all broken with end result that lots of tiny pieces were mixed with the actual food. When I mentioned it to the staff, I got a dismissive response. I did not eat it but ended up paying for it. March 10, 2014

The live and loud outdoor music continued until shortly before midnight which made it difficult for the children to sleep. All in all, some of the staff were pleasant but others were not and it seems pretty clear that customer service training is required. April 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff! The staff here go out of their way to make all guests feel welcome. Catering to a younger, more hip clientele, I personally experienced excessive rowdiness from other guests in the middle of the night yelling through the hallways though realize the staff can't do much about that in the moment. Great place to stay if you're attending something at the Nat'l Exhibition Centre but a bit out of the way from many much of the city. Plan a cab to local attractions. April 15, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by My 2nd Home I totally mean what I said, i had stayed in around 7-8 hotels in UAE and had by far the best ever experience even than 5 star in my life, and its not just me but also my family, from the front desk till the good bye wish from the vallet supervisor, its a total memorable life time experience which I definitely want to cherish again. Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty Average My stay at Aloft was pretty average. It's a very nice looking hotel with great facilities but unfortunately has a few downfalls. To start with i had a major noise issue with my room. My first room has a connecting door. In the room next to me was a very loud bunch of girls who were up till late at night. The walls & the door is so thin that i could hear their entire conversation, laughing & jumping till 2am. This doesn't really work if you're staying there for work & have to be up at 3am. I called the reception multiple times but they didn't call the girls in the room next to me once - i know as i would have heard their phone ring. I eventually feel asleep. The next day i requested to change room. Initially they said they didn't have any but then found me a room when i said that i would like to check out. That room was much quieter but smelled like an ashtray. I then checked out & returned for an extra day as i had to stay longer for work. Even though i requested at the reception for a non-connecting room thats the room i ended up in. Again, i could hear the people staying next to me. Luckily they went to sleep by midnight. Now for their poor bar. Its a lovely bar with a very nice outdoor seating but the service is just ridiculous. The servers are extremely friendly but they are also extremely confused & clearly not well trained. They would ask for mine & my colleagues room number 4 times every time, they mixed up our orders on several occasions, sometimes the food would come in 20-30 minutes but other times it would take nearly an hour & a half because they forgot about the order. They would bring us drinks when we didn't ask. Sometimes the drinks would take 30 minutes. The bills was just a mess. A group of us would always go to the bar to eat but wanted our bills to be separate & that was always a mess. That being said they servers are extremely friendly but it gets exhausting when they constantly keep getting your food, drinks & bill wrong. The staff at the reception is also not very attentive. This one girl took ages to check me into my room because she was too busy having a conversation in arabic with another guest while she was serving me. It wasn't that she was helping him - it was more like a friendly chat. I had to ask her to stop chatting up the other visitors & to sign me in as it was at 1 am after a long day at work for me. Its a shame really as it is a very nice hotel, with great food, great location & great facilities but the service was a let down as was the noise level in the rooms. May 3, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by No wake-up call Although the room was top notch, construction on the facilities marred my overall view of them. Also a non-existent wake-up call almost caused me to miss my flight. Had I not woken up and checked the time, and had my flight not been delayed by 30 mins I would have missed it. For the room (and facilities without construction) I would highly recommend this hotel however the staff never seemed to be rushing to serve a customer, at one instance I was ignored by a receptionist not to mention me not receiving my wake-up call, a small issue but one that could have cost a lot. Parking issue at the hotel (you have to deliver your lugguage at main entrance the check in to get a parkin access card to multi storey car park , go down again to get the car an enter multi storey parking , and this time security sent me to a higher level with no reason provided the hotel designated parking is free, so it took me 45 min to check in after i handed my lugguage ) Room not clean when checking in (coffee spilled on carpet) house keeping not effective (cleaning cloth left at room, dining tray not removed , number of towels after cleaning not as before September 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Business trip to Abu Dhabi I found Alot to be a relaxing friendly environment. It is not opulent, but rather stylish which was far more suited to my tastes and aided in recovering following a long days work. On arrival I was greeted quickly and in a friendly manner. The hotel was described to me and my keys were handed over swiftly. The room was spacious and clean with a good decor. I ate at the buffet each evening during my three night stay and the selection was varied to suit all tastes and the hot meals changed each day. Was great value. I particularly enjoyed watching the sun go down from the 12th floor bar where the music was good, but not loud to stop conversation, and the staff were terriffic. I will stay at the Aloft Abu Dhabi again in future. April 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice cosy hotel Stayed in Aloft a couple of times, friendly staff specially lovi from the reception, she was great. Great pool and bars. Only one negative point the staff from the pool area are not friendly. Overall we had a nice weekend will definitely be back. April 7, 2014
