I participated a conference in Abu Dhabi, the staff was exceptional friendly and helpful, from Reception, Housekeeping up to the GM everybody was taking care of us! Thanks for a great stay!

restuarant staff are not very friendly, but check in staff r nice n helpful, Relax bar very nice and staff were friendly. Pool table is entertaining, swimming pool and pool area is great.

Best place to stay with family. Hotel is very clean and staffs are very supportive. We enjoyed the stay in this hotel and we will choose this place when we are again coming to Abudhabi.

The only thigh I did not like that any one can access the hotel room level as the elevators don't have key pass. This is very important and the hotel must add it.

The hotel facilites are great for an Aloft hotel. We liked it very much. The only concern was the arrival expreience that we faced upon check-in. The receptionist was very helpful. We had some problems with our reservation but he did his best to help us. But duty manager was extremely rude. She was standing next to the receptionist the time we entered the hotel lobby area. She didn't greet us, although she was standing behind the desk. When the receptionist (an extremely nice guy, i guess his name was Ranjiv, sorry if not correct) was trying to figure out some things for us, he was discussing it with her. She was telling him somthing like "tell him....he can...he needs". So meaning that she was standing in front of me, but couldn't approach me and explain it all as an expreienced professional.
The Refuel attendant was very kind, and he recognised us as repeat guests in the hotel, although he met us only once few months ago. That was very personal and impressive.
The manager of the all day dining was very attentful and kind as well, so we enjoyed the service and the food.
Overall thank you, that was something to remember.

We stayed 4 days, 4 adults, 2 kids in 2 rooms in July. Liked the hotel in general but our feeling was the staff was overworked, and left a lot of things undone or not done well. For example, calling for room service was ridiculous. We had to wait forever to get through, then forevver for the food. Likewise, everytime we had a need for housekeeping, or any questions, we had to go thru the front desk, and they hardly ever answered the phone. In fact, trying to call the hotel from our mobile we were unable to get thorugh the whole week, as we tried to call ahead for directions. There were some games in the lobby but all were broken or had missing pieces...the iPads in lobby never seemd to work. They need to pay attention to details if they want to be the special kind of hotel they advertise as.. The free wi fi in the hotel is great feature. the pool is nice, the staff friendly enough, but honestly...its just a nice hotel with a modern look, basically not much else. Food is average. Not the best for families, but would recommend for couples or singles looking for a good time. Best hotel deal if you are going to exhibition center.

Upon arriving at the front of the hotel to park our car we sat in a que (the only one we experienced) for 20 minutes before we were asked if were guest of the hotel. Once this was confirmed we were told to leave the car and take everything we required out of the boot and leave it at the side of the road until somebody from the hotel was free to collect it. Not comfortable with leaving our possessions by the side of the road with nobody watching them we waited until we attracted the attention of staff who stayed with our luggage whilst we proceeded to reception for check in.
On arrival at reception we were told that there were no interconnecting rooms which we specifically requested as we were travelling with small children. After around a 40 minutes wait (with two tired toddlers and some seriously strong words) we were finally given interconnected rooms as per our original booking, but it was pointed out that we had to be upgraded to accommodate our party. We gratefully accepted, relived that we could finally end the wait and go to our rooms.
The rooms were smaller than we had expected for a four star hotel in Abu Dhabi but it did look as described on the website and thanks to our upgrade we also had enough room to put up our travel cot. However, a constantly leaking toilet in one of the rooms and a broken blind in the other did not make for a peaceful night’s sleep for anyone.
At the buffet breakfast my husband was welcomed and seated but after 5 minutes at the table he was told the buffet would close. When he inquired why they let him in if it was closing, staff apologised but insisted the restaurant would close.
Upon check out we called the concierge twice and waited for over 40 minutes before finally giving in and taking our own bags/beds/buggies to reception. We waited another 30 minutes to check out and another 15 minutes for the car to be returned.
All in all a very disappointing experience which we hope to never relive. We booked this hotel because we were visiting the exhibition centre and we have stayed at other starwood hotels in the past and our stay has been great. We were shocked about the length waiting times from a hotel that was not busy (on a Thursday night) and would hate to experience this hotel on a busier night.
We do not feel that we were given any consideration as a family travelling with small children and no help was provided to assist with luggage or the long waits. Although the staff were polite they lacked the empowerment to actually help the guests particularly at breakfast and check in.
Unfortunately we will not be staying again and would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially when other similar star rated hotels exist in the area, at a similar budget and with better service.
