Really good location for our needs, considering we were visiting friends twenty miles away. We were happy with it's location for Mall Shopping.

According to the manager, the hotel strives for excellent service. If I received excellent service, I'd hate to see substandard service.
Long line ups at check in; having to be moved into three different rooms due to unfixed problems (the safe and phone not functioning in the first room, the safe locked in the second room) when concerns were raised at the front desk, the junior staff at the front desk was rude and made it seem that I was causing him an inconvenience.
That evening, there was substantial disturbence from intoxicated hotel guests. Calls to the front desk were met with little to no support. The next morning at breakfast, as many items had not been refreshed, making mention to the same junior staff was responded quite rudely.
The only bright side was speaking with the morning manager who did finally make things right.
Unfortunately my first stay at aLoft Vaughan will be my last.

I experienced the worst stay in a hotel of my life in the Aloft Vaughn Mills.
The hotel was out of control with kids running through the hotel until just before midnight which made my 5 am start the next day horrible. Called the front desk twice and they did nothing.
I have asked for my money back but the front desk manager is taking an argumentative stance with me rather than listening to the issue. He believes I should be more understanding but the only thing I understand is that I didn't get the rest that I paid for. He tells me that he knows hotels from working in the industry and I should expect this. Well I have stayed at hotels more than 150 nights this year, probably enough to know where my expectations should fall. He works in hotels, I live in them. They have offered me a free night to a hotel that I will never go back to and a few bonus point is hardly the proper compensation.

Clean, modern facility with excellent and professional staff. Food options on site are very limited. I'd stay here again because its good value and close to businesses.

I had a great experience here. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very nice and not that expensive. The best part of the stay was the W xyz bar in the hotel. The bartender Maryia was awesome and really nice! would highly recommend trying her honey basil lemonade. Highly recommend this hotel.

The moment you walk into the hotel, the soft smell of lemons hits your senses, beautiful.
The music in the elevators is modern cool lounge beats, the lounge area is a relaxing atmosphere with a bar tender that makes great drinks.
Rooms are spacious, clean and beds are so comfy. Bathrooms are emaculate.

Stayed 2 nights for my brother's wedding at a nearby venue. Staff was friendly, quite cheerful, and in general less pretentious than some of the other "hip" or "chic" hotels - professional yet less formal/intimidating simultaneously. Located right next to the Vaughn Mills shopping complex (the hotel is attached to the end of the mall's parking lot), it is an awesome spot for a shopping trip.
