Rated 3 out of 5 by Airconditions switched off in Public Areas I stayed at the Aloft, a couple of weeks ago. The room was fine and the breakfast was good. The problem I had was that the Air Conditioning in the public areas was switched off during the days I was there. In the summer in Coimbatore, if I have to stand outside the hotel since it is cooler than the lobby, there is a problem. I also mentioned this to the front desk and they had no response. Also, it is time to change the towels in the hotel. They are threadbare. June 9, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Quick stay. Average hotel. Could be better Please consider turning on all the lights as this is helpful to allow the hotel to feel like it is alive and vibrant. I understand the need to conserve electricity in India, but may be going a little too far. More options for breakfast. Consider some western options too. May 23, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unexpected levels of delivery It was very surprising to find the room not cleaned after the first night. When it was brought to the notice of the staff they mentioned that room was in "Do not disturb" mode for the entire day and hence it was not cleaned. No effort was made by the staff to rectify the problem or to be apologetic about the state of affairs. It was very shocking to see such levels of customer service from a Starwood property. Overall a very pathetic experience. July 15, 2015

The last time I visited, the staff were not trained to recognize spg benefits, the HDMI ports where not connect to the TV. This time the staff instantly recognized the SPG benefits and all the ports were connected properly. The staff's response was quick. I would say aloft coimbatore is learning quickly and is set to become a leading hotel in the region. June 6, 2015
