Strong smell of mold/mildew in halls and room. Evidence of mold on carpet and walls. Poor maintenance of room, peeling paper, water damage in bath, dirty carpets and walls.
Air conditioning not turned on and the room was much too warm for comfort. Staff would not allow the ac to be turned on to lower temp. During previous stay in the winter, the heat was not available and the room was too cold for comfort. Staff first tried to rectify by bringing more bedding, then by bringing a space heater. Finally they agreed to turn the heat on. Room has two windows but only one had a screen. if you open the one window without the screen for cross flow of air the room will fill with flies and mosquitos. Only 2 small bottles of drinkable water provided. Lobby bar unavailable/not opened at anytime. Western Restaurant on first floor not open for lunch or dinner. Only food available is local stlye during breakfast and 2nd floor Chinese restaurant. Poor food selection during breakfast. Only soy or spoiled milk provided. No Western food at anytime. No vending or snack machines and no minibar in room. Majority of surrounding complex is still under construction and not open. Location is not convenient for anyghing other than the beach.

240CNY/night, warm-hearted staff but less professional if compared with those branches in mature market. Few guests staying, AC and lighting in public spaces are switched off, making it less comfortable, facilities such as swimming pool, breakfast and dining are not ready for a smooth operation. Overall hardware is ok, service/software need to be trained and improved.
