Rated 3 out of 5 by CLewis2698 Awful Experience
I stayed at the property a few weeks back and had a really poor experience. I arrived late on Tuesday night (1am) and staff was friendly and got to my room ok. In the AM, I noticed that the A/C in my room was not working properly and even though it was set to 60, the room temp was actually 75, I called the front desk and they sent someone to fix it. That person arrived, worked on it, and told me it would be fine in an hour (this as mid-day at the time). I left for my business event and returned after dinner only to find that the A/C was still not working. When I called down to the front desk, I was told they were oversold and i was n't able to get another room - and it being 9pm, it was too late to move to another hotel, so another night sleeping in an 80 degree room. The front desk clerk did ask if I was paying for the room or expensing it for business (noting he would have given me a refund if i was paying out of pocket, as if that should matter). As an SPG member for many years, i would have expected they would have attempted to move me to another room as soon as the problem was identified, especially if they weren't 100% that they had fixed the issue. The final night i was moved to a hotel with only a moderately working AC.

Modern furnishings in a well appointed room. An ultra comfy bed and room darkening shades made for a very comfortable night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free shuttle was a nice bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Komp87 Great Location
This was my first stay at an ALOFT hotel. I was taken by surprise. This location in particular has a lot of activity going on around it. The design of the hotel is interesting and at the same time very nice. It has a bar on the lobby level along with board games (such as Jenga). Though there was only person at the front desk (which caused a longer than usual wait), I was immediately recognized as a Gold member and helped in the most professional way. The quality of sleep was great. There is a GCRTA track and train track on the north/west side of the building. While the horn would go off every now and then, it did not interfere with sleep. The street life outside the building stayed active until some time after Midnight so if you're trying to go to bed at 9pm, this may not be the hotel for you (unless you stay on the other side of the building south/east).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Btii813 Hotel is modern
Hotel is very modern. I like the features. Only downside is not getting a room with a view. Having chosen Cleveland as one of my stopovers from a very long road trip, I was hoping to have a view of the city. What I got was a view of the back of another building. I truly can not say "wow, Cleveland seems nice, I think I'll stopover here again".

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chaseaustin Great location and friendly staff
Checkin was super easy; as it should always be. They noticed my status with Starwood right when I got there and were spot on with the service. My colleague was also checking in before me and received excellent service as well. The location is right in the middle of what seems like endless restaurants and near the highways. Perfect for my quick business trip. Will definitely use again when I'm in Cleveland next.

Located in a really nice area, clean, great Aloft-y room, comfortable, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again next time.
