Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice location Very efficient staff and room. Clean and felt welcome. April 3, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pricey Loft nothing extra for no service I did arrive late...1:30am, but the valet was a ghost so I set in the driveway (plain site of the front desk) for about 5 minutes then tried to park but only the valet can do that and there isn't any self parking. I found this out by driving around the building. They've tried to make a Hostel style hotel upscale... Really funny if you have been to some of the origin on the East Coast. I thought I remembered drawers to put clothes (frequent traveler) but this one doesn't. It seems like there was a bathroom door for the toilet but I won't swear at the one I had stayed at in Maryland. This one definitely doesn't. My final issue with the hotel is a hotel gimmick where they use green to justify cutting service or to make you feel special when they can save labor and make more money... Green has several meanings. Hotels are risking health issues when they skip or encourage skipping cleaning on a regular basis. Bottom-line I won't stay here. Should have just done the courtyard. Rated 2 out of 5 by great location but just ok This hotel is terrible about emailing a copy of my folio. They are hard to contact about this and do not respond to calls or email. The hotel is nice, new, and clean. Location is great. Rating them down because of responsiveness. They do not keep enough staff at these hotels. March 16, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Some things need improvement... This was my first stay with Aloft. The staff was very helpful with check in. The layout of the room is somewhat awkward and quite small but the bed and linens were nice. The bar was crowded but the drinks were good. The valet service needs improvement. We called ahead and they responded it would be about 6 minutes. 25 minutes later they finally brought my car around but only after we complained. The call ahead valet service was a joke. Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't expect to sleep Hotel did not meet expectations for Aloft based on previous Aloft hotels I've stayed at. It was decorated kind of drab. Not the upbeat atmosphere I'm used to with aloft. Worst problem was the construction of the rooms. There is no sound proofing in this hotel. Felt like I had my neighbors in my room with me all night as they threw up from 2 to 4 am. Also connecting door to next door room had light coming under it so there was obviously no seal between the two rooms. December 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay The staff was amazing and the hotel was nice. We got an amazing rate, I was impressed! December 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Thank You! When I made my reservation I noted it was my wifes birthday. Personalized drink coupons for her were given when we checked in. November 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent New facilities, clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Bar was a lot of fun and the rooftop is a must! October 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very enjoyable hotel experience Really appreciated how clean and modern the hotel was, as well as the professional, friendly staff. October 27, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Working out the kinks When I checked into the hotel, they were not prepared for the breakfast package that was included in my reservation - so instead they gave me $10.00 vouchers for each day, which did not cover the cost of breakfast. The room was nice, clean and quiet. The service in the restaurant is also lacking, the waitress came by once to take our drink order, and only came back when we flagged her down for our bill, so we went elsewhere for dinner. When I checked out, they said my bill would be emailed, as soon as I received it, their were charges for food - none of which I purchased. It took 3 days, and multiple calls to get the bill re-adjusted. Hopefully they will work everything out, since the location is great. October 22, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by let down a bit I find it ridiculous that there is mandatory valet parking, when they built a large garage next to the property. This is Oklahoma City, not Chicago. I got no SPG recognition, and wasn't upgraded even though there were suites available. The TVs on the treadmills didn't work. It was 94 degrees both days I was there, but the pool was "closed for the season." The facilities were clean, well maintained, and the hotel is certainly attractive. October 13, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice place to stay in OKC This was a very clean, brand-new hotel in downtown OKC. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to numerous restaurants and entertainment venues. Here's the BUT: My room was located on the second floor, apparently directly over the bar/club where loud, booming music was playing until after midnight. It wasn't a big enough hassle to request a different room away from the noise, but it could be a serious nuisance for someone else. I would definitely stay here again; but if I do, I will ask for a room far away from the noisy bar. October 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite Aloft! I stay at Aloft properties for business and when travelling with my family. This hotel is my favorite in the whole country. The staff is just so great and the property is so welcoming. You have a really great bar and pool area and the walking proximity to Bricktown is great. I cannot say enough good about this hotel! Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel had great rooms Everything was incredibly comfortable in the rooms September 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice place, but would not recommend This is definitely a fun place to stay, but I was shocked by how often they attempted to squeeze a few more pennies out of us. Small things, like selling breakfast cereal in the morning. Really? One hundred and fifty dollar room, and cereal isn't included? Another couple of things that perturbed me: there is a $15 fee to park your car on the premises (they never informed me of this before check-out) and when I asked for a AAA discount, I was told that I needed to arrange for that when I called to make the reservation. The kid at the front desk said he couldn't do anything about it, which is never the right answer when you work in hospitality. Overall, a really nice place. We had a girls weekend there and were determined to have fun, but they would have much happier (repeating) customers if they would stop being so chintzy. Not recommended. September 10, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is a ripoff We were in town for a bachelorette party and were excited to try this new hotel but I was very unimpressed. First, there is no hotel parking unless you valet and then you are charged for the option. Second, when we arrived it took over 45 minutes to get checked in. Someone ahead of us was having issues with their reservation, and rather than pulling them aside so the rest of us could be helped we all - and there were 5 parties waiting to check in - had to wait. Third, I got a room with a pull out couch. There weren't any bed linens in the room to make the bed. When I called the front desk at 11pm and asked for sheets, blanket and 2 pillows, it took them over an hour to get to our room and then they only had sheets and a very small and very flat pillow. The person said they would bring me a blanket and pillows as soon as they could find them. I stayed up for over an hour and they never returned. Finally, because I was forced to use the valet parking, they gave me a ticket. On the ticket there is an option to call ahead so your car is waiting for you. When I called to have my car pulled around, they couldn’t find it in the system so I had to go down to the valet desk and wait for them to find it and pull the car around. All-in-all, not a good experience and I won’t be staying at an Aloft hotel again anytime soon. I expected so much more from a hotel in the Starwood brand line. Heaven knows we paid handsomely for luxury we didn’t get. August 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice with issues The hotel was a different style than most conventional motels. Room were small. Beds were very comfortable. For $150.00/night (and that was a special rate for the wedding we attended) a hotel guest should be able to park for free and that is why I would not recoomend nor would I come back. Bricktown is a fun place and it doesn't matter whether everybody else charges for parking as well. People want to spend money & have a good time. To charge for parking for a guest is ridiculous. Count me out. August 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by rare find! the hotel is spotless, the staff treated us like we were royalty. If you have business downtown okc ,this is the place. look no further. August 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by good Nice place, though the Wi-Fi is spotty and inhibited work. August 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to stay! Hotel is modern and comfortable. Rooms were great. Beds were great. Convenient to Bricktown yet way quieter! August 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel was OK This hotel was ok for an overnight stay, but was too minimal for anything longer. The amenities were nice, the location is great and the bed was comfortable. We were guests on the night of a storm and the air conditioner went off. It was miserable until Maintenance arrived and set the air to operate manually. The room was a little pricey for what we received. August 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Location and value for the money are perfect Excellent staff, easy to get to local restaurants and nightlife and downtown for business August 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel is great Very clean and modern. Rooms were awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only dislike was the $1.50 charge for breakfast pastry that is free at most other hotels. August 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent The hotel was very modern, clean, and relaxing. The breakfast bar was decent. Staff were not very responsive. One commented he was very tired after I repeated several times I was checking OUT, not in. I was in and out for business, but I'd reccommend it for sleep. Black out curtains. August 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel in Bricktown This may be the best aLoft yet. This hotel is new and expanded compared to others with a restaurant, dual story bar, etc. August 1, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not agood experience 2nd stay and greatly disappointed. Barking dog off and on all night in room next to me.. Children pounding on my wall while I tried to work. Called front desk and they said they would call them. It did no good! July 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Weekend Stay.... This hotel was centrally located in Bricktown. In walking distance to everything. Very nice room setup and views. GREAT place to stay. The food at the W XYZ lounge was AMAZING! July 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Still Great! I thought the second time I stayed here it might not be as good as the first, since they had just recently opened and would want to "impress" their guests with all of the little details they paid attendion to in the beginning. But NO. The second stay here was as wonderful as the first stay, if not better. The staff is so genuinely friendly- from the valet, front desk, to the restaurant, maintenance and housekeeping. They always greet you with a smile and wish you a good day. No grumpiness or "it's just a job, man" attitude here! It smells great, it is always clean and it has a unique, comfortable vibe about it that the others do not have. July 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Valet Service... Had a great valet experience... The girl with green hair was friendly & thoughtful... everything else was good... Check in was awkward... Check out was clunky... Receiving my car back was awkward... My car is sitting there & we were told... "He will be back with your keys" by a second valet... If you bring the car up, leave the keys... It makes sense for a guest to wait for the car but not the keys... Once again... awkward... You're a new hotel so just letting you know that you have some things to work on... July 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by suspitious activity The fire alarm going off at 3:20 am ~ a staff member knocking on our door and wanting to come into our room left us bewildered and suspicious. He had been the bar tender earlier, and it felt as if we let him in, we would have been robbed. When I declined his request to enter the room, he disappeared in a flash. We called the front desk, and were brushed off by the gentleman who answered. Next time I will snap a photo of the staff member and we will let the police check into the matter. No one else had this experience, from those we talked to. Always be careful. July 28, 2014
