I always give credit where it is due, and also bring to light wrongdoings by hotels that I stay at. This hotel uses predatory bait & switch practices when reserving the rates. I booked thru its own SPG.com and went it came time to check out was told they charged us $120.00 more for a 2 night stay. The rates I booked at were "invalid" They refused to listen to anything we had to say. I then pulled up my reservation email and showed them the rates I booked at. The Manager never once came to acknowledge us. Instead pawning it off on front desk agents who were less than friendly. Only after fighting for 20 mins, did they reluctantly change the rates back to the one I booked at. I was denied the Your24 access. Which is fine but when I asked for a late check out the check in lady told me that she would charge a half day rate after 12PM. There was ZERO and almost negative reactions toward PLATINUM status. It's not a resort hotel and it wasn't sold out, needless to say I think she was new and not happy about working on Christmas Eve. Otherwise this is a typical Aloft hotel nothing special as it is brand new. Just watch your rates as I'm sure since this is a business hotel they do this as a standard practice.

This is a typical Aloft in all the good ways, trendy style etc. SNA cleared a few days out and the suite was actually roomy. I wasn't certain what to expect as so few Alofts have suites.
I did have a small issue during my stay, but the GM Mr. Humberto was very attentive and more than made up for it. In all, I would recommend the hotel.

Getting to this hotel was extremely difficult. There was construction going on their entire area, making it a maze for customers to find the parking. We actually had to drive around for 30 minutes just searching for a way to get close to the hotel. We were lucky to find free parking across the street.
Upon entering the hotel we checked in at the front desk, who were very attentive yet calm. I came during a time where there seemed to be low occupancy and asked if any upgrade where available and was INSTANTLY upgraded to a king balcony room! So awesome!! It really pays to stay with Starwood Hotels, they really do what they can to keep their customer retention by keeping guests happy. Details like this make me want to return! Will probably be here next month! I loved my visit so much!
The live music and upbeat colors made it feel like an upscale youth hostel, which is clearlt marketed to a younger crowd.
The room was reallt beautiful, with crisp sheets (I always check the mattress and sheets before sleeping in the room), and had Bliss products for lotion, shower gel, and shampoo. I would actually go out of my way for these products, they were just that good.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now .
I stay usual over 80 nights a year in different hotels .
This is hotel great hotel , the staff is very friendly ,the accominate you .
The neighborhood has become a great place to go .
There Main Street is 2 blocks away if you want to go out for drinks and dinner .

Stayed for the weekend during the Miami Heat playoffs with my husband and three kids. Staff was extremely nice and always helpful. Hotel was clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Rough meaning lots of new development around, will be the perfect location when complete. That being said, barely heard the bustle outside. The space is hip and well appointed, the staff friendly and efficient, and the amenities abound.

Another wonderful visit with the Aloft chain of hotels! The Aloft Miami Brickell can't be beat for location, style, comfort, and, most importantly, customer service! Everyone without exception was friendly, helpful, and always on task to ensure a great guest experience. Due to some construction in the immediate area, we had a challenge getting onto the block with the hotel, but that obstacle was quickly addressed with one call to their front desk! They talked us in, staying on the phone with us as we followed their step-by-step instructions in maneuvering the barricades. From start to finish, a wonderful visit!
