Rated 1 out of 5 Bathroom and Noise As I arrived on a Thursday evening and having been there before, I knew that the bar would get pretty crowded and be loud with DJ and all. They had given me a room on the second floor and i quickly objected but they assured me that i would not be bother - well that was not the case not only could I hear the music, but I heard everyone congregating outside smoking below. To make the experience worse i decided i would take a shower and go to bed - when i proceeded to the shower there were several full length hairs in the shower. I addressed in the morning with the staff, I wrote to the GM who took close to a week to reply and then passed me on to his house keeping manager. I highly do not recommend this location. I have stayed there close to a handful of times and every time is an issue - this time has finally made me decide to never stay there again. March 27, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unhappy After checking in my wife and I went to sleep around 9:00 pm at around 11:00 pm the load noise started from the next room. I called the front desk and reported the noise. The gentleman said he would investigate. At 12:00 am the noise did not stop, so I called again. This time the same employee said no worries sir it should stop soon. Well at 1:30 in the morning it did not. I called again and again they said they would take care of. I had a wake up call of 4:45 am I left my cell number with front desk to have manager call me. I then called the hotel and asked for the manager which I was told she would call me back never happened January 5, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Front Desk POOR SERVICE!! I check In last Fri and had to wait for my room to be ready 45MIN. As a platinum member this should not have happened. Did not acknowledge my status of membership at check in. Espresso machine out of order the following morning. No effort to recover my experience from front desk the following morning or asked how was my stay. Thank you, Rafael Hughes March 17, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Extremely disappointed... Here's my experience after a week long business trip. No where to park as you pull into the hotel. Lobby is packed with loud music. Music is loud inside the room late into Midnight… Finally fall asleep late into the night and woken by construction noise at 7am (even on Saturday). Rated 2 out of 5 by I don't sleep well in night clubs I am generally a big fan of Aloft hotels. I stay at them frequently, including 9 days that have booked over the next month. I will continue to stay at them frequently. I will never stay at the Doral Aloft again. There were a few minor problems like having to have my bill corrected to reflect my platinum free breakfast and having to have some erroneous charges removed from the bar I never went to. Those things can happen anywhere. The major problem is that this hotel tries to be a nightclub, and worse, they pull it off. I had a second floor room and could not escape the pounding of my walls till midnight while the DJ played right below. A small problem when I am on vacation but a much bigger issue when I am there for business and have an early morning, Also, because of the nightclub draw, parking is atrocious. A problem when I have to drive around the lot and overflow for 20 minutes hoping to find a spot. I would actively recommend that this hotel be avoided, unless you want to sleep in a night club. Rated 1 out of 5 by High expectations turned into terribly delving results (dangerous pool) ;-( This establishment doesn't even deserve the 1 star that I'm required to "give" as per this website's guidelines. It was disgraceful from start to finish. We had 2 reservations; 1 room for 1 night and another room for 2 nights with same check in date. Neither room was ready when we arrived which was acceptable. We put our luggage on carts and brought to front desk at which point I was directed to '...move over there..."; service?! despicable! This place is run by juveniles that are wet behind the ears. As you can read I utilize terms like establishment and place because it doesn't adhere to what I describe as a hotel. We gave them our name and telephone number to call when the room(s) was/were ready. Do you think they called; I think not. We had to call them and they were indeed ready but when is in question. The lobby was excessively loud at check in and there was no parking so we had to utilize the valet and then the following day had to fetch the car ourselves; (sarcasm - what great 'valet' service!). The following day we checked out of one room early so we didn't even occupy room nearly for the full time we paid for. The other reservation was still active for the 2nd night. We enjoyed a lovely day in south beach only to come back and the key for the 2 night reservation didn't work! We went to front desk and again the lobby was too loud to conduct business. It took them an unacceptable amount of time to rectify the situation. So we were locked out the elevators to even go up and the room of course with all of our belongings. We finally got key and their compensation for all of this despair was a cocktail voucher for 3 cocktails at the bar; one for each of us in our party. We hopefully will use soon but they owe us a lot more! I wouldn't recommend staying here. It's truly a shame because beyond the awful service the lobby is european and cool! The room decor was also that. The 'free' bottle of Dasani water was a nice touch and the toiletries were higher end that other places. But what good does it do if you're locked out to enjoy these luxuries. I'd stay here out of desperation but not otherwise. Awful, awful, and awful. At one point there were 5 pending charges on my credit card and now posted charges; the abuse never stops! ;-( March 4, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply Perfect Starting with the staff, the decoration, the room... The 6 nights I stayed at this amazing location made my vacation unforgettable. Close to the malls, expressway, easy to get to the beach, airport, etc... I will definitely recommend this hotel to everybody I know. Thank you very much. I will go back every time I go visit my family and friends in Miami. August 19, 2013
