Rated 1 out of 5 by ryan212 NEVER EVER AGAIN. DISRESPECT IN ITS HIGHEST FORM.
I was so upset over this situation, I had to count to 100- and the 10+ people I have already told, agreed with me fully. - I called 3 days before my stay. My guest was arriving before me and he lost his credit card a couple days prior. He still had his ID/passport and ample cash needed to pay for the room plus any deposits needed. I was arriving several hours later- Upon arrival he is met with a snippy front desk agent. (you know that certain typical kind, that think are better than everyone else) He was told he could not check in without a credit card. EVEN THOUGH i called and made prior notes of this happening. The manager with not a shred of care or concern- told him to just go sit at the bar and wait - mind you he just got off a 7 hour flight, tired, hungry - and of course they didn't even offer a drink. He was treated like a vagrant. I was in flight at the time so he could not contact me. Go sit and wait? What if my flight was cancelled and I didn't make it til the early morning. I'm surprised you didn't you have him arrested for loitering. This is the utmost disrespect to me and my feeling of loyalty to the brand since 2004. We have stayed in much higher category SPG properties than this where they actually know how to treat you with respect. I don't know why this hotel thinks they are better then anyone else. I've got news for you. you are a select service hotel with pre packaged food at an airport. What if I would have lost my wallet on the plane or in travel- and anyone knows how very stressful that can be. It happens- BOTTOM LINE - Any idiot knows, you take care of the people most loyal to you, not spit in their face when faced with a problem. Be warned if you lose your wallet, your screwed. This hotel lies to you says its ok at first, they will let a PLATINUM member or their family sleep in the street rather then accommodate them. I work in the entertainment industry and we all travel often. I will be sure to pass this along. DISGUSTED.

Another great stay at an Aloft Hotel. Once you've stayed at one of these hotels you're comfortable at any of them as they are all designed and laid out the same way. Have not had a bad enperience at any Aloft property, and I'm gla they are aligned with the Starwood Hotels group.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PaulB17 Nice stay at SFO
First time at an ALOFT and it was well done. The room was very well appointed, the bathroom big, and shower very nice. Had a great TV selection. The common areas were nice and nothing over the top. Lobby pool table was a nice touch and the bear area was open. Staff all very eager to please. The only miss and you are staying at the airport is the runway. Perhaps the windows are not as soundproof as at others. Would come back., $20 for parking was just stupid - not necessary

Rated 3 out of 5 by SS13 Accomodations Great- Amenities not so great
I chose this hotel for proximity to SFO with an early flight to catch. Had I dropped my rental and used the shuttle it would have been fine. Since I wanted to leave the facility for dinner, I kept my car and this was a sore point. When you enter, signs tell you parking is $14- not too ridiculous, but at the desk you learn it is really 20 for guests, the $14 is for the park and fly lot they are running. And not only do you pay a premium to park, after dinner I found no spaces other than at the farthest reaches of the lot near no hotel entrance. I am competing for a space with people leaving their cars for days. Very inconvenient and a total rip off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mzrushh88 AWESOME first visit @ Aloft SF
It was our first time here @ Aloft SF, or any Aloft location. We will definitely come back to this location in the future, and will be our first choice before deciding on any other hotel/location. This hotel was smoke-free everywhere, so there was always fresh air. Re:fuel was very convenient, especially when you didn't feel like going anywhere to eat, and there was also healthy options/open 24 hrs too. The staff/talent were verrry helpful and friendly. We especially the loved the pool table in the lounge area, and the ambiance was very relaxing... Definitely coming back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hutch44 Parking Stinks
The hotel was very enjoyable and fun with all the retro decor, but the parking stinks. Came back to the hotel about 10:30 on Sat. evening and could not find a parking space. All those cars couldn't be staying at the hotel. What gives?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dallas33 Great Hotel/Great Value
Hotel is very modern and up to date. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Room service was excellent. Only downside was the parking price and at times it seemed like the front end staffing was shorthanded. I would highly recommend this hotel.
