Coming from KUL airport by airport train this Hotel is at the downtown station called Sentral. From her it is easy to get taxi or public transport. I stayed for cash and points which I found reasonable. The revenue /cash rates are a little high for my liking. You can find similar cash rates at other Hotel that belongs to the same chain and in addition gives better Platinum benefits than the Aloft. (lounge, upgrades, # of SPG points etc.) But this is not the Aloft's fault this is SPG rues and regulations. The Hotel is hip, has a nice roof-pool and bar. The rooms are specious and have everything one needs. There is a new shopping-mall next door with all you might desire. I found the Hotel associates super friendly, the guy that checked us in deserves to work at a 5 star Hotel. Very competent, knowledgable and putting guest at ease. I recommend this Hotel!

I like the design most in this hotel, it's very contemporary! I would put it sleek and exquisite within simplicity, not the kind of over-designed. The in-room facilities were thoughtful and well equipped, and the room is absolutely comfortable. I was being assigned to high floor room as per requested, but sad that my view was not facing the Petronas tower. The only thing I felt pity was the hotel does not provide international buffet, and the food choices is less considering the dinner price is not cheap. I am also curious about the pool at the rooftop, the water is salty like the ocean and it's not the kind of chlorine-smell pool, perhaps it mimics the ocean feel? LOL! Overall, it's a great getaway experience to me~

I like the fresh new look this hotel has. The open spaces , room size with minimal clutter, the lobby bar and location. Maybe the Gym can be a bit larger !!!

The hotel has wonderful service, friendly and helpful staff as well as an excellent use of color to make a vibrant and young atmosphere.
I may be in the minority but I have terrible trouble with the dominant use of donas. With the room set at 19 degrees (minimum) I absolutely cook under a dona - short of removing the dona from the cover and sleeping under it I have seem to to have no other options than - overheat then freeze.

Overall the hotel room met my expectation for its two queen bed configuration for my two little ones and us. It is very clean and comfortable with practical features for young families. There are a few things that is probably an oversight is the sink which is too narrow which cause water to splash out once it is turn on. As for the shower it would be great to have an additional hand shower for the kids. And lastly the corner room that we got is a little noisy with three key around us when other guest comes in and out. Other than that it is a great hotel for us. Great value, fun and roof top Mai bar has a great view and pool. Lobby is also wonderful with fast internet, printer and sitting area. Staff is friendly and good to kids.

this hotel is not fully operational due to its new opening since end of March. However, I am quite concern about the key card security issue. The key can go to all floors including the yet to be completed floors . No guard on duty if coming from the Brickfield road either by vehicle or walk-in guest. Most staff do not know the usage of Mac,and taken too long for me to wait for the wireless key board. No newspaper at the door even for the platinum guest? Am only aware of no room upgrade, no free free breakfast if points are needed to boost the spg points.

I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times and I must acknowledge that the service level improves every time I stay.
Checking in was pretty fast and SPG recognition is good. Newspaper is provided though I’m not sure whether these privileges are only applicable for SPG elite guest.
Room is spacious with all the basic amenities.
Dining experience at Nook is good. Food quality and portion size is OK. The staffs are attentive, and friendly.
Checking out process is fast and hassle free.
Overall, it is a pleasant stay at Aloft KL Sentral.

I wouldn't normally choose this hotel but on this trip my client dictated. While very hip and modern is not my taste, it's a nice hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the rooms are nice, and the rooftop bar and pool are beautiful at night (and they play great music). The breakfast was also quite good, as was the shower. The downside- the air conditioning is loud and even on low speed is quite distracting, the pillows are not great (moved to HIlton after my stay here and bed has about six big down pillows!), and the room just doesn't feel very warm and cozy. That being said, it's a great value for the money and certainly a nice place to stay. When I come back, I'll stay at the HIlton though, just for the bed and bath..

From the start of our stay to the very end the staff at Alfot were professional, attentive, friendly, helpful and kind. This was a 5 night stopover on our way home after five weeks of vacationing in Britain and Europe and the service at Aloft far out rated any we received in the many places that we stayed during our holiday.would you please share this with all team members as they all are a asset to your hotel and will recommend to all friends and family in australia.Thanks so much Ian and Judy Craig.

This is my time staying at Aloft hotel and to my surprise the staff that assist is young and energetic. Polite and clear information has given to me. The only thing that I disappointing they forget my request for the anniversary arrangement as I would like to give surprise to my husband. The facilities is marvelous and I get to use the facilities for free like browsing internet, playing pool, mini games , Xbox and etc. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The design really amazing and starter place to stay .

Booked this hotel for a gift for my mum and aunt. The hotel reservation team was unprofessional! Could not find the booking I had placed thru Booking.com so rebooked the reservation thru them directly.
I advised to ensure all charges are to be charged on my credit card as it was a gift! Instead when my mum arrived they asked for her to place a deposit! It took so many phone calls from me - calling from Sydney to arrange something so basic and yet the staff did not know how to return phone calls! Or send an email!!
All in all it was a terrible visit for what could've been a fantastic short stay!
Out of all the staff I spoke to (about 6 people) one managed to get things done... But by this time it left a sour taste in my mums and my taste!

The hotel has a nice pool, and we went to check it out, it was great, until we ordered a bottle of wine, and the waiter asked me how many glasses I wanted and I asked for two, he brought my two glasses of wine and when I was done I asked for the rest of the bottle, he said I I asked for two glasses!, When told him he made a mistake, he said he can't give me the bottle, because they had no full, bottle. I then had to asked to speak to the manager
and she rectified the situation by getting me a bottle in the end.

The hotel was very simple very very simple but surprisingly amazing. I'm abit disturb with your shower gel dispenser though. Its feels a little bit or shall i say feels like youre cutting budget on your bathroom amenities. Well there are alot of ways in cutting budget. Just do it with class will you?...How?...Why don't you figure things out yourself. But definitely not with those shower and conditioner dispenser....i may sound paranoid but what if someone spits in it...eyu!
all the associates the the front desk are amazing... I forgot to bring my charger and one onf the associates at the front desk lend me her own charger her name is Li Ping i hope i spelled it right.
Anyway everyone was just amazing. For a funky hotel like that its just amazing.

This hotel is in a great location, though it is newly open, the property needs improvements in their room and they are mainly construction shortfalls
The room that I stayed 2312 need improvements on the following areas;
1] Basin tap, the water slash over the basin.
2] Shower water does not content within and wet the whole area.
3] Can hear the train noise and in the evening construction from St Regis.
4] Bed mattress at head portion sink backwards.
5] Air-con outlet in the direction of writing desk, one back is always hit be the cold wind.

I was taking shower while someone tried to access my room!! Apparently she just checked in to the hotel and was assigned to the same room as me. The lady looked as if I intruded her room and I had to spend about 5 minutes at the door to explain to her that I checked in the day before to convinve her to check with the front desk again. The situation was awkward! Although the security of the hotel called me to apologize, saying it is due to their system glitch, but I am extremely disappointed that this kind of mistake happened in SPG chain.

I like the hotel because of the convenient location, well equipped rooms with fast free Internet and good coffee (give you real grounds and a French press)
For those of you who complain about delays on checkout(teething problems), why not drop your card into the box and have them email you the bill?
Only complaint was my SPG Gold benefit- last 3 times I used it at the rooftop bar, but this time refused to accept it. But this time the waiter refused to take it- admittedly it did only say the Nook, but I think that was a little mean.

Frankly i have never heard of aloft and was looking for a hotel that is near KL Sentral and happen to come across aloft from a search online. Took the leap and booked this hotel since this is pretty new to me. Never regretted the choice of this hotel. The hotel is brand new and the room is big and roomy, very nicely decorated with a modern touch. I like the bed and pillow as i managed to sleep very well throughout my stay. Everything is great in the room except only the TV reception seems to be very poor, you dont get to see sharp images on screen. Not sure whose fault but if the hotel is able to solve this issue then i would not hesitate to say this is one of the best room to stay in, Nonetheless i will still rate this hotel a full 5-star! Keep it up.

Stayed for New Years Eve. Generally had a positive experience except for incidences which somewhat tainted my stay there.
First, when checking out there were additional charges from the bar which were made to my room which I did not make on the bill. Upon checking the receipts were not signed and the hotel agreed to reverse the charges.
Second, I forgot I left a shirt in the closet after checking out. I called the next day hoping to collect my shirt back. Unfortunately housekeeping said they didn't find any shirt in the room.

We are seasoned travellers to Asia. I stayed with my husband and 2 children for 2 nights in an Aloft Room. We loved it. It was spacious, modern, great view, my son loved the use of the Apple TV. Not to mention the XBox in the lobby. I was really impressed with the breakfast. The staff were helpful and I loved their uniforms. The pool and bar area is very cool. Location is right opposite the station so perfect. My only criticism was the pool was quite cold. For this reason I would give the hotel 9/10. We were sad to leave...

Stayed there for 2 nights and this is my second visit to this hotel. Great location with easy access via public transport. However, if you drive, parking will be a bit of a problem, as the hotel have limited parking bays. To improve carpark signage to the hotel lobby especially you have to parked at the lower floor.
Staff should have better understanding of the hotel facility especially the restaurant, as my visiting guess ask where is the restaurant and the staff were not sure of it. However, i think that is an isolation case.
