Rated 5 out of 5 by Attending Events The Aloft ORLANDO is perfect location when attending concerts, sporting events and shows. I've stayed there several times and definitely would recommend it. Comfortable and convenient. The only thing I would like to see different is a better selection of food. They offer convenience store type food and it is on the expensive end. There is a breakfast menu available but I can't comment on that haven't tried it. The bar is nice if you like to have drinks. The staff are all very nice and helpful from the valet to front desk and management. The are very knowledgeable of the area as far as directions, local transportation and shops. All in all great hotel. I will return and recommend. The Aloft meets SPG high standards. June 14, 2015

I arrived late and was greeted with a friendly warm smile along with a Happy Birthday – which I can’t tell you, it made my day! The décor in the room is super chic and the bed is amazing – so good I want one. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality as it is greatly appreciated. June 1, 2015

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Service and Lost Item Stayed there last year in december. Forgot my gold chain in my room, called two hours after I left the Hotel and noticed, did not get an immediate repsonse but that they were going to search for it. Four hour laters and after receiving no call from the Hotel I call again to check and they had no idea apparently about my call. Then the y went and check and magically the chain dissapeared.... Service was really bad in general. Why do we pay such a premium to stay in "good quality and trustworthiness hotels"??? April 12, 2015

When we checked-in there was an open, half eaten bag of peanuts on the chair by the desk. Globs of some white material in the shower - gross, Left me feeling very uncomfortable. February 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Location/Staff make this hotel I travel to Orlando on business about twice a month and could stay at a bunch of nice SPG locations but I choose the Aloft for the location and the great staff. Quick walk to good restaurants, the rooms are huge (converted office building), and very friendly staff that always takes care of Platinum members. My only knock is the menu; the small kitchen here means you get flatbreads, paninis, dips, etc. It's surprisingly good quality but not what you want for dinner on a business trip. A minor negative given the location. If you're here on business, go for it. January 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel's staff is outstanding! I always enjoy staying in aLoft Hotels for their eclectic feel, comfortable beds and downtown locations. What set this aLoft apart was the staff. The entire staff was friendly, outgoing and positive. I was particularly impressed by the Front Office Manager, Anthony Pavgouzas. He is truly one of the best I have met in all my travel, and I am a seasoned professional (200K+ miles traveled per year for past 13 years). January 19, 2015

Rated 3 out of 5 by Had an issue with food service and staff There was a Victoria Secret fashion event the night I was staying at the hotel. I arrived back at the hotel just before the event was starting, around 8pm, and was told the kitchen was closed down. I went up to my room and ordered delivery. The delivery service called and told me that the front desk would not let them come up stairs and deliver the food. I was forced to come down stairs, navigate through a large party and told by the rude hotel staff member that I delivery was not allowed to go to rooms. Very disappointed! December 18, 2014

Also held the wedding reception at the hotel, had a great time. Close to the new Dr Phillips Art Center and downtown Orlando. Would definitely recommend. December 5, 2014

The staff was very friendly, acknowledged my status and paid attention to my general desires concerning room location. The upgraded room was really nice with 2 TVs. November 5, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel needs improvements. When I made the reservation I requested late check out. It even gave me the option to select from different late check out times. I selected the latest one they had which was 4PM. Everything seemed to be confirmed to check out at 4pm. Well we were so harassed by the front desk staff, that we had to leave at 2PM. They claimed they were unaware of it. Not only did they harassed us, but they charged us 50.00. Quite honestly, I don't mind to pay extra to check out late, but at least let me know there will be a charge. When I chose late check out, it didn't mention anything about the extra charge. Didn't appreciate being harassed, didn't appreciate not having room service. Didn't appreciate anything about this hotel. First and last time I stay here. November 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Needs Improvement I stayed in this hotel for four days for business. I was very happy with the room and the facilities. There is nearby construction with makes it difficult at times to get into the hotel, but that is obviously not Alof's fault. My main issue was with the front desk personnel. I checked in and the gentleman who attended me was only mildly friendly and then checked me into a room that was already occupied - which I learned as I tried to get into the room. After I realized what had occurred and came back downstairs to the front desk, there was no apology. I also gave him my tax exempt form since I was traveling with the government, and asked him to make sure the form was entered. But, upon checkout, the same gentleman was my attendant. I asked him to print out a copy of my receipt because given my prior experience with him, I just wanted to make sure everything was correct. As he was checking me out, I even asked him to confirm my tax exempt status was reflected in the bill. He said yes. The attendant then goes on to print out my bill with taxes in the bill, even though I had just asked about that. Somehow, when I brought that up to him it seemed to have caught him off guard. He then could not find the form I had turned in upon check out and it took a while for him and another attendant to figure out what to do. Eventually, the female attendant was able to fix the bill, and I was able to leave. Overall, I was not used to a front desk staff paying so little attention to detail, it was unfortunate. I will say there was one woman who worked at the front desk and the cook who served breakfast who were fantastic. Overall, the hotel was nice and I had a perfectly acceptable stay - I just expected more from an Aloft. October 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chic and comfort in one I was in town for the Orlando Film Festival, so I wanted to stay in a nearby hotel. This exceeded my expectations in quality. Also, they provide complimentary coffee every morning and if you "go green" with the house cleaning, you are awarded a $5 gift certificate each day. Awesome! October 27, 2014

Bed was very comfortable but would have liked nice sheets as yours are very scratchy, would like Legna or Sferra and feather pillows. Every nice hotel should have a lit makeup mirror that magnifies and a place to sit for ladies to get ready. Your food was ok but would like some Organic choices. October 17, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel for a certain demographic This seems like a great hotel for under 40's seeking an active nightlife and perhaps as a romantic getaway. Does not seem to be a typical family hotel because there is no restaurant. As a business traveler who has to get up early, the noise from events at the bar radiated up to the 8th floor and kept me up. The staff is very attentive and the rooms are spacious. Good restaurants are within walking distance. October 2, 2014
