Environmental Sustainability Policy

Starwood is committed to integrating leading environmental practices and sustainability principles into our core business strategy. Pursuing a triple-bottom line approach, our global sustainability policy includes five objectives and six focus areas designed to meet the needs of our customers and the communities in which we operate, while reducing the impact of our business on the environment and bringing a positive financial impact.

Sustainable Food & Beverage Policy

As citizens of the world, we aim to reduce our impact on the environment in every aspect of our business, including in our kitchens. Eat Local, Think Global is Starwood’s Sustainable Food & Beverage policy to support Fair Trade practices, promote locally sourced, organic and sustainable ingredients, and minimize the use of over-harvested or endangered animals and plants in our food and beverage venues.

Carbon Disclosure Project Reporting

We work closely with the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), an independent not-for-profit organization that provides a global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share environmental information.


Human Rights Policy

We acknowledge and respect the principles contained in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Starwood’s Human Rights Policy reflects the Company’s commitment to conduct its business in a manner consistent with these principles and to protect human rights within the company’s sphere of influence.

Human Trafficking
