Mark R. Vondrasek

Senior Vice President, Distribution, Loyalty and Partnership Marketing

Mr. Vondrasek is a 13-year Starwood executive overseeing the Worldwide Distribution Loyalty and Partnership marketing teams. In this role, he leads over 3,500 associates responsible for the innovative, award-winning Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) program, 10 Customer Contact Centers around the world, mobile applications and digital initiatives.

Mr. Vondrasek spearheaded industry-changing initiatives in loyalty during the last few years such as SPG Keyless, SPG Pro, Your 24, SPG Lifetime, Delta Crossover Rewards and SPG Preferences.

Starwood’s most important strategic marketing partnerships are overseen by Mr. Vondrasek, including a long-standing, co-branded credit card alliance with American Express as well as high profile entertainment partnerships. Across Starwood brands, these music, sports, and arts partnerships – Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Coca Cola, Mercedes AMG Petronas, and Uber, among others – offer guests access and experiences like no other through SPG Moments.

Joining Starwood in 2001, Mr. Vondrasek’s responsibilities have significantly expanded over his tenure. He is a Board member of the Starwood Associate Relief Fund. Prior to joining Starwood, he worked at Fidelity Investments.

Mr. Vondrasek earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago.
