Architecture & Construction and Brand Design at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. are vital teams that support our company’s creative vision and lead the way for global growth. Both divisions work to open new properties and maintain existing properties around the world, and are responsible for the following:

• Leading the development of the 3D creative vision, strategies and design for Starwood's nine brands. This scope includes full-scale hotel renovations, conversions, new builds and brand initiatives. Team members also develop effective, on-target design solutions, programs and strategies from visual ideation and definition through documentation.
• Providing support for potential new hotel signings, including programming consultation, assessment of current conditions and strategies for adapting existing hotels to Starwood standards.
• Familiarizing owners and developers with Starwood’s nine brands through brand immersion sessions that give insight into the brand’s position relative to its competitors, and illustrate how the brand communicates its values through design elements.
• Ensuring new hotels are built in compliance with brand standards and are consistent with brand vision through review of designs, ongoing consultations and on-site construction reviews.
• Reviewing operating properties and renovation plans to maintain alignment with brand direction and quality.
• Completing project management for capital improvements at Starwood-owned and leased properties.
• Providing technical support and cost estimates for brand initiative projects, including OS&E styling, Food and Beverage concepts, guest room designs, and public space initiatives.
