Food & Beverage (F&B) represents approximately one third of the total business of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and is a key driver of the guest experience. As a result, positions within F&B are critical to the overall success and reputation of our individual hotels, our portfolio of brands and Starwood as a whole.
Ideal Starwood candidates are passionate about F&B excellence and seek to create a unique restaurant, bar and/or banquet experience that exceeds guest expectations and drives positive business results. Candidates should also possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, as both are necessary to maintain a well-orchestrated operation that resonates favorably with guests.

Management positions within F&B are often filled with qualified line-level associates who exhibit leadership potential, job competence and a desire to succeed. Some associates choose to stay within the F&B function as a long-term career option—many of these associates pursue opportunities to move to desired locations or larger operations. Other associates choose to use their experience in F&B as a springboard to different hotel management positions.
