Develop career skills through our Undergraduate Internship Program

Starwood's summer undergraduate internship opportunities provide unique learning experiences for college students working towards a bachelor's degree or similar program.

Our interns gain functional expertise in a corporate setting and learn about the hospitality business through hands-on learning. The eight to 10 week program fosters students' professional development and offers an experience comparable to entry-level, full-time professionals, providing the opportunity to work on projects alongside our associates in both a small team environment and across global cross-functional teams.

Immerse yourself in our Advanced Degree Internship Program

Starwood's Advanced Degree Internship Program runs 8 to 10 weeks at the company's global U.S. headquarters and other corporate office locations. This immersive program fosters students' professional development, strengthens their understanding of the hospitality industry and aids their career planning for placement after graduation.

Starwood provides each intern with opportunities, experiences and responsibilities that are comparable to our full-time associates. Interns receive valuable networking opportunities, in-depth project experience and meaningful hands-on learning as they partner with other departments and teams to deliver exceptional results.

Over the course of the program, interns will gain insight into the essentials of our business, embrace a global mindset and participate alongside our associates to assist Starwood in building best-in-class brands that offer a phenomenal guest experience.

This program is open to students currently working towards an MBA, JD or other advanced study program.

Starwood actively recruits at several partner colleges and universities, including Harvard Business School, The Kellogg School of Management, University of Chicago Booth School of Business and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Students at these universities may contact their career services office to confirm the exact dates when we will be on campus.

Starwood recruits for all interns during the spring semester, from January to March. Students are notified of their acceptance in March and April.
