Connect with our Externship Program

Starwood introduced short-term externships as an innovative way to connect with and mentor students during their breaks from school. The South Asia externship program immerses students in Starwood culture and introduces them to one of our nine brands. Externs are given project experience, expand their professional network, and gain exposure into a field that can aid in their career planning post graduation.

Gain a competitive edge with our Internship Program

Internships are offered in Starwood's South Asia locations as a way to foster students' professional development, familiarize them with hotel operations, and give them professional experience that gives them a competitive edge in the workforce. Over the course of six months, interns gain valuable insight into Starwood and brand culture, make lasting connections, and develop their guest service skills.

Starwood has two recruiting cycles each year in June and December. Participating colleges will alert students to the exact dates of walk-in interviews for internship positions. Students may also look for opportunities by conducting a keyword search of 'internships' on www.starwood.jobs, where they will be provided with an overview of all open internship vacancies within Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Starwood South Asia offers a management training program for graduates that prepares them for leadership roles by exposing them to skills and practices that ensure success throughout their careers.

Starwood visits participating colleges once a year to give a presentation about our management training program, conduct personal interviews, and lead group discussions. Students can learn which dates the interviews and presentations are taking place through their college.

The management training program starts in August and ends in November/December.
