Lynne Dougherty is Senior Vice President, Owner Relations and Franchise for
Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Ms. Dougherty oversees the Owner
Relations and the Franchise Operations organization to ensure strategic
alignment with managed and franchise Owners in North America. She also leads
the Franchise Service Delivery team, which includes Regional Operations staff,
Pre-Opening Conversions and Services, to make sure franchise owners achieve
maximum value for their investment. Working closely with the North America
Leadership team, her team is focused on driving revenue, ensuring brand equity
and maintaining strong owner relationships.
Ms. Dougherty
joined Sheraton Corporation in 1978 as a corporate management trainee with an
emphasis on Food & Beverage operations. From 1980 to 1991, she held hotel
operations positions of increasing responsibility, eventually serving as
general manager at several hotels. In 1991, she was named Area Managing
Director for Sheraton's Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West region, overseeing 30
corporate-owned, managed and franchised Sheraton hotels. From 1992 to 1994,
Ms. Dougherty served as Managing Director of the Sheraton Washington Hotel,
Washington, D.C.'s largest convention hotel with 1,505 rooms. In 1994, she was
appointed Vice President of Franchise Operations, overseeing Sheraton hotels
and the launch of Four Points by Sheraton. Ms. Dougherty was appointed to her
current position in August 2001.

graduated from the University of New Hampshire.
