Alan Schnaid is Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a position he has held since 1998. Mr. Schnaid has been with Starwood since August 1994 and previously served as Assistant Corporate Controller and Vice President, Corporate Controller.

Prior to joining Starwood, Mr. Schnaid worked for Mazars and Company, an international accounting firm and prior to that he worked with Kenneth Leventhal & Company, a national accounting firm that has since merged with Ernst & Young.

Mr. Schnaid is a certified public accountant. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Mr. Schnaid is based at Starwood's corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona. He is also on the Board of the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation.
