Sergio Rivera is Co-President of Starwood Vacation Ownership "SVO".  Mr. Rivera joined Starwood in 1999. In his role as Co-President of SVO he has joint responsibility for the overall performance of Starwood's vacation ownership division with particular focus on real estate development. In addition, Mr. Rivera is responsible for Starwood's Residential Development operations and is a member of the Corporation's Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Starwood, Mr. Rivera held many senior positions in the vacation ownership and community development industries. Previous positions include Senior Vice President at Vistana Inc., President Harborside Resort Atlantis, Chief Operating Officer of Westgate Resorts and Assistant Vice President Finance for General Development Corporation.

A native of Miami, Florida, Mr. Rivera graduated from Florida International University with both a B.B.A. in Finance and MBA. He currently resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife and son. Mr. Rivera is a Trustee of the American Resort Developments Association ("ARDA") and a member of the Urban Land Institute ("ULI").
