Situated in Rovinj, one of the most picturesque towns on the Adriatic, Hotel Lone's seductive minimalist curves are influenced by the area's unique natural landscape. Built in an ancient forest overlooking the sea, the hotel offers impressive views of the island-speckled coast. Featuring 236 guestrooms and 12 suites, four large auditoriums, three meeting rooms, and a Mediterranean-inspired wellness spa, it’s a minimalist haven for business or all-out relaxation.
MADE BY ORIGINALS
Behind Hotel Lone stand four individuals who are no strangers to success. Silvije Novak, Saša Begovic, Marko Dabrovic, and Tatjana Grozdani Begovic founded the Croatian architectural firm 3LHD in 1994, and have won a host of awards between them. Hotel Lone is just one of their many works to wow the architectural community with its 1970s-inspired form.
ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN
Imitating a grand luxury ocean liner, Hotel Lone represents the pinnacle of design-led hospitality in the Adriatic region that also caters to business travelers, with a 650-seat auditorium being both architecturally impressive and practical for large conferences. The Y-shaped 248-room hotel sports a black and silver stripy exterior and an interior that sees a leafy mural design motif, a white and beige stone lobby, and a spa of natural woods, stone, water, and gold.
