At Hotel Bachmair Weissach, Bavarian authenticity and local heritage blend with simple elegance and countryside cool, creating a lifestyle resort for business and leisure. Close to Munich on the shores of Lake Tegernsee, the property possesses the air of a private country club, with a family-friendly atmosphere and professional service that extends from the 138 rooms and suites to the Bachmair Weissach Lounge with its pine ceilings, wall panels, and sultry red lights. The expansive grounds offer impressive conference and event options, spaces for enjoying sophisticated Bavarian cuisine, and a sleek spa area with heated indoor pool.
MADE BY ORIGINALS
The visionary behind Hotel Bachmair Weissach, Korbinian Kohler is a man of the land and of the world. Raised on Lake Tegernsee in the Bavarian Alps as a craftsman, he graduated from the London School of Economics, Haute École de Commerce in Paris, and Stern School of Business in New York University. His goal – to create an authentic and sublimely hospitable retreat – has been masterfully achieved at Hotel Bachmair Weissach, making it one of the leading destinations in all of Bavaria.
ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN
It’s no accident that the traditional Lederhosen of Bavaria are literally frame-worthy pieces of art at Hotel Bachmair Weissach. With that one bold statement, the hotel announces that it is in Bavaria, about Bavaria, but not predictable or routinely Bavarian in any way. Here, tradition is given a contemporary makeover, something you instantly feel when sitting in a lush velvet chair by the hotel’s dramatic fireplace, which itself is set against a striking black wall.
