Rated 5 out of 5 by Delboy Perfect hotel in perfect location.
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and cannot fault it at all. The location is superb. Only about 20 mins from Las Vegas Strip and really close to Red Rcok Canyon and Lake Mead etc. The pool area was quiet and well maintained. The room was brilliant with a great kitchen and really comfy bed. The free breakfast went down well also. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Las Vegas without all the noise and expense of staying on the Strip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bubu1 Not aware this hotel allowed pets
Our daughter and her husband stayed at the element because they were in Vegas for a wedding. Innthe past we have really enjoyed our stays. Unfortunately we were not aware that you allowed dogs. Our daughter has a reaction and her eyes swell . I am not aware if the room they stayed in has had dogs but her eyes were red and swollen for the wedding which she was in. That would probably be an important thing to check before your guests check in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kallie Great stay
Really liked this hotel for the location, design, quality of kitchen equipment, and friendly staff especially the breakfast women and the housekeepers.
Weekend breakfast good with pancakes and scrambled eggs. Didn't much care for the bagel sandwich during the week. Would be nice if there were a microwave to warm to pastries. Would really like an Aloft-style fruit cup and perhaps scrambled eggs during the week.
Disliked the extremely noisy air conditioner. It was almost intolerable. Also disliked the noisy bathroom fan that could not be turned off. Also the elevators were noisy in a scary way - the doors made a weird scraping sound.
We noticed how poorly all the room doors fit (odd, because the rest of the construction and finish appeared to be of highest quality) but did not hear other guests. Room was quiet except for a/c and fan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SDDayTripper Short but Good Stay
My first time at this hotel. Was only there for 1 night on a business trip. Good facility. Love the green initatives. Breakfast was nice, the sandwiches could use a bit more flavor otherwise the variety is nice. Free parking, wifi, breakfast & filtered water (no $4 to 5 dollar bottle water needed).

Part of our softball team decided to stay here for a St. Patty's Day weekend tournament at nearby Mystic park. We had an AWESOME time at the Element! From check in to check out the service was great, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was worth it. We even had a team BBQ by the pool because the Element has a large BBQ for hotle guest to use. My wife and I are SPG Gold members and I would recommend this property. See you next year!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Henry43 truth in advertising
This Las Vegas Element hotel advertised an outdoor swimming pool heated to 85 degrees. However, the water was VERY cold. The staff did not pretend that the advertised degrees made any sense.
Does Element or Starwood believe in Truth in Advertising?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Henry1969 Great Hotel away from the Strip
Great if you have a car. Staying here you get to avoid all the traffic in and around the strip. They are pet friendly which is plus for my family. Nice equipped rooms. They have all the amenities: Refrigerator, stove top, microwave. Awesome bed, very comfortable. The hotel is good for weekend travelers as well as extended stay customers. Staff is very friendly. This place is a must stay for our family when we are in Las Vegas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by naturetraveler No slot machines - I love it!
I grew up in SoCal, and have never been a "Vegas, baby!" kind of gal. So when I had to go there on business, I was super excited to find a hotel that didn't cater to the typical Vegas scene. I found that in the Element. Quiet, free breakfast, comfortable, LEED certified (this is very important!), friendly staff, and dog friendly, too. It's also next to Red Rock Canyon, a great hiking place. Will definitely return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mesmh Super Self Catering Hotel!
Spacious room, great view of hills, spotlessly clean, comfortable, useful kitchen area, good gym, smallish pool, a self catering hotel with inclusive breakfasts. Highly recommended, wife and I enjoyed our six day stay greatly and would book in as a first choice if we ever return to LV. We felt at home immediately. Staff friendly, responsive and professional. Thank-you! Highly Recommended! $35.00 taxi ride to Strip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Paul67 Great Stay!
This is my second stay at this hotel in two years, so was interested to see if it was as good as last year-and it was. The front desk was fantastic, polite, and efficient. The room was clean with no issues. The gym was clean and well maintained.
I wasn't sure what to expect for breakfast, but was truly a remarkable selection of both hot and cold food. Food was replenished regularly.
Highly Recommend this hotel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cindy Great Hotel off the Strip
This hotel is great for comfort and quality service. The suites are great and the shower head and bed are wonderful. The last two times we have been on the freeway side of the hotel. We would prefer the side away from the freeway noise, but being on the top floor was really nice. The free breakfast is great and staff are so friendly. Thanks!
One suggestion would be to offer flavored creamers with the coffee.

The staff really went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. we had some special needs the day met with a smile. it was family friendly and pet friendly. the breakfast was amazing strawberry smoothies and everything. our only wish is that they have a Jacuzzi. we are locals to Las Vegas but needed to stay on that side of town for a night. I can't wait to have another opportunity to stay again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by meekerd Very disappointing
If this had been my first stay at this hotel, I would not be returning. We checked in early, which was great, we through our bags in the room and took off. Got back later in the evening my husband flipped on the light and the wall next to the bed had some mysterious stains dripping down the wall, they had not been wiped off, the side table was greasy. The room felt like it had not been completely cleaned. Also, the sink started making gurgling noises, not quite sure where that was coming from.
I think the reason I am more disappointed is the fact that this is a Westin hotel and I do expect a certain level from them and I do not feel that this hotel lives up to that standard all the time.
We did get put in to another room, with out any problems. The new room, while cleaner, was missing some of the setups for a room. Again, I don't think anyone double checks to make sure things are finished.

Rated 5 out of 5 by amicheli My favorite hotel - anywhere!
I absolutely love the Element Summerlin. I have been back and forth for business many times and it is literally my home away from home. The hotel staff is warm and attentive, the design is modern but not pretentious, the breakfast is AMAZING. Nothing here smacks of "chain" and its truly a relaxing and productive environment. I can't recommend it highly enough.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times now while looking for homes in the area without disappointment. We've enjoyed the king studio as well as the double queen when we took our 3 young kids. The rooms are great-- DVD player, in-room kitchen and free wifi. And a free, good breakfast in the morning. Will definitely be recommending this hotel when family/friends come to visit!

Rated 3 out of 5 by DNg2000 Good for family. Spacious rooms!
This hotel desires a 5 star but I deducted 1 star due to their lack of response to my request after I've checked. My kid left a few children's book behind and I called within a few hours after we left. No one called me back. I had to call constantly to followup. At the end, the books were never found which doesn't make sense. Overall, the hotel is great for families with spacious room. Clean!

Rated 4 out of 5 by DivemasterP Great place to stay away from The Strip!
Finding a place to stay for business in Vegas that doesn't smell like cigarettes, Febreze and desperation can be very difficult. Element is not only an excellent business hotel, it's conveniently located on the 215, and is extremely clean and comfortable. On top of that, the staff and GM are professional, courteous, and very hospitable. I will definitely recommend this property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bench275 A surprise
I just stayed in the Manhattan Element (disappointed) and was a little skeptical of this planned stay. Boy, was I wrong - this location delivered on all that it promised and then some. The breakfast was a delicious reason to want to get out of bed in the morning, the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful and my room was nice and quiet and very clean. I highly recommend this location!

The entire staff was awesome. We arrived about 9pm and the front desk clerk, I belieive his name was "JR", a young man, he was very accomadating and because I am a GOLD member with SPG he offered us a free upgrade in which I was going to ask for anyway. We were very happy there at this hotel, it is our 2nd visit. We will be back and I wil nbe looking for THe Element in all of my traVELS

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crane2009 Fantastic Staycation!
My husband and I stayed here Memorial Day weekend for a short staycation without our 18 month old little girl to celebrate my birthday. We had a great time! The hotel is close to lots of great things to do, but not in the middle of the craziness. The breakfast was amazing! I really enjoyed the modern design too. I would absolutely recommend it to any friend or family visiting the area!!

Another Co-Worker and I stayed at the Las Vegas Element this week and I was supposed to stay next week as well but we are moving back to the Courtyard.
I had a movie charge on my room bill and explained to the front desk person when I was checking out that I never even turned on my TV; however, he ignored the charge and continued to process my departure and handing me my bill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul67 Nice!
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Nice breakfast in the morning. Upon leaving I requested a statement from the front desk and mentioned I checked out via the tv. He was surprised that guest could do that. He said he had never stayed in the hotel. Service was great, but maybe it would help if all employees spent one night there just so they could relate more to their product.

This hotel is very clean and spartan. The furnishings are good for a younger crowd but the beds, chairs and other seating facilities definitely do not invite lounging nor do they provide comfort. The property is very nice and the breakfast and wine receptions are very nice amenities as is the dog policy. For, older folks, tho, the furniture is a real consideration :(

I loved my stay. The staff was extremely helpful in every regard. From helping me find nearby restaurants, attractions and directions to the airport, they were always attentive and incredibly nice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the healthy breakfasts were just what I needed. Thank you. Next time I am in Vegas, I will be staying at your hotel.

I was traveling with my Shiba Inu and the hotel was perfect for my purposes and location.
There were plenty of places close by to eat and the breakfast at the hotel was perfect!
I was only there for a quick overnight, and out early the next morning - so I can't really speak to too much regarding the property other than it was very clean and room was comfortable

This is the second Element Hotel we have experienced and we can't wait until they open more and more. These hotels are very unique, spacious and have a very interesting array of breakfast and evening snacks unlike most other hotels where the breakfasts are usually very similar and not so tasty. We will definitely be travelling and searching out other Elements.

Hi all, this is the first time I stayed at the element hotel, it is such a family friendly hotel, I will definitely book again if I ever come with my family. The in-room amenity such as full size refrigerator and microwave is so useful. Above all, the front desk manager JP is so great, I really enjoyed my stay and will look forward to come back here again.

My first stay at an Element brand. Very nice hotel. I love the decor, the colours, the layout. We booked a one bedroom suite and it was very comfy with a modern feel inside the room. Breakfast is included with stay and is very good. Will definately return to this property when I'm back in Vegas.

It was for me a real & agreable surprise when I discovered Element las Vegas Summerlin.
Courteous staff, clean, modern & quiet location with only 15 min away from the noisy and busy stripe...
Definitely I will adopt it every time I have to be in LasVegas and will not hesitate to recommand it to my acquaintances. In fact I already did it to my collegues.
