Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent service and comfortable stay We appreciate the excellent service and love the shower and bed in the Element. We like that we can get decaf anytime of the day or night and they even provide packets in the room if we don't want to go downstairs. Grant and JD are always so personable. They are great additions to the staff. The breakfast was fabulous and the full size fridge always comes in handy. Thanks again! We will be back! The Italian restaurant just down the way on Hualapai road is fantastic. February 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by SURPRISINGLY AMAZED!!! I was not expecting such a great experience. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. It was so nice and convenient to have a full kitchen in the room. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family. August 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not aware this hotel allowed pets Our daughter and her husband stayed at the element because they were in Vegas for a wedding. Innthe past we have really enjoyed our stays. Unfortunately we were not aware that you allowed dogs. Our daughter has a reaction and her eyes swell . I am not aware if the room they stayed in has had dogs but her eyes were red and swollen for the wedding which she was in. That would probably be an important thing to check before your guests check in. May 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Luxurious with a sleek style I loved this hotel. From the outside it looks kind of plain. The inside was beautiful & modern. All employees were very pleasant and helpful. We had a 1 bedroom suite. The decor was very much the current style with glass tile on the wall & muted colors. I appreciated that this was a "green" hotel. The bedding was sooo comfy. It had everything you could want, even a stocked kitchen. I loved getting a nice breakfast downstairs. A good selection and plenty of food. September 13, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Multiple Chemical Sensitivities? This is the place for you. I can't abide most hotels; Element's consistent less-irritating environmental policies can be counted on to not set my allergies off. August 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect hotel in perfect location. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and cannot fault it at all. The location is superb. Only about 20 mins from Las Vegas Strip and really close to Red Rcok Canyon and Lake Mead etc. The pool area was quiet and well maintained. The room was brilliant with a great kitchen and really comfy bed. The free breakfast went down well also. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Las Vegas without all the noise and expense of staying on the Strip. July 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay Really liked this hotel for the location, design, quality of kitchen equipment, and friendly staff especially the breakfast women and the housekeepers. Weekend breakfast good with pancakes and scrambled eggs. Didn't much care for the bagel sandwich during the week. Would be nice if there were a microwave to warm to pastries. Would really like an Aloft-style fruit cup and perhaps scrambled eggs during the week. Disliked the extremely noisy air conditioner. It was almost intolerable. Also disliked the noisy bathroom fan that could not be turned off. Also the elevators were noisy in a scary way - the doors made a weird scraping sound. We noticed how poorly all the room doors fit (odd, because the rest of the construction and finish appeared to be of highest quality) but did not hear other guests. Room was quiet except for a/c and fan. September 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite hotel - anywhere! I absolutely love the Element Summerlin. I have been back and forth for business many times and it is literally my home away from home. The hotel staff is warm and attentive, the design is modern but not pretentious, the breakfast is AMAZING. Nothing here smacks of "chain" and its truly a relaxing and productive environment. I can't recommend it highly enough. July 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Softball tournament (So Cal Choppers) Part of our softball team decided to stay here for a St. Patty's Day weekend tournament at nearby Mystic park. We had an AWESOME time at the Element! From check in to check out the service was great, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was worth it. We even had a team BBQ by the pool because the Element has a large BBQ for hotle guest to use. My wife and I are SPG Gold members and I would recommend this property. See you next year! Rated 3 out of 5 by truth in advertising This Las Vegas Element hotel advertised an outdoor swimming pool heated to 85 degrees. However, the water was VERY cold. The staff did not pretend that the advertised degrees made any sense. Does Element or Starwood believe in Truth in Advertising? December 31, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by No slot machines - I love it! I grew up in SoCal, and have never been a "Vegas, baby!" kind of gal. So when I had to go there on business, I was super excited to find a hotel that didn't cater to the typical Vegas scene. I found that in the Element. Quiet, free breakfast, comfortable, LEED certified (this is very important!), friendly staff, and dog friendly, too. It's also next to Red Rock Canyon, a great hiking place. Will definitely return. Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice overnite place Clean, organized, good breakfast August 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel away from the Strip Great if you have a car. Staying here you get to avoid all the traffic in and around the strip. They are pet friendly which is plus for my family. Nice equipped rooms. They have all the amenities: Refrigerator, stove top, microwave. Awesome bed, very comfortable. The hotel is good for weekend travelers as well as extended stay customers. Staff is very friendly. This place is a must stay for our family when we are in Las Vegas. October 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good stay You are GREEN everywhere - but have no charging port for electric car. During my 3 day stay I saw 5 pets around the lobby. That should be restricted as others have allergies. People wu=ith pets should use stairs and not elevators. July 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very disappointing If this had been my first stay at this hotel, I would not be returning. We checked in early, which was great, we through our bags in the room and took off. Got back later in the evening my husband flipped on the light and the wall next to the bed had some mysterious stains dripping down the wall, they had not been wiped off, the side table was greasy. The room felt like it had not been completely cleaned. Also, the sink started making gurgling noises, not quite sure where that was coming from. I think the reason I am more disappointed is the fact that this is a Westin hotel and I do expect a certain level from them and I do not feel that this hotel lives up to that standard all the time. We did get put in to another room, with out any problems. The new room, while cleaner, was missing some of the setups for a room. Again, I don't think anyone double checks to make sure things are finished. May 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Self Catering Hotel! Spacious room, great view of hills, spotlessly clean, comfortable, useful kitchen area, good gym, smallish pool, a self catering hotel with inclusive breakfasts. Highly recommended, wife and I enjoyed our six day stay greatly and would book in as a first choice if we ever return to LV. We felt at home immediately. Staff friendly, responsive and professional. Thank-you! Highly Recommended! $35.00 taxi ride to Strip. September 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Stay! This is my second stay at this hotel in two years, so was interested to see if it was as good as last year-and it was. The front desk was fantastic, polite, and efficient. The room was clean with no issues. The gym was clean and well maintained. I wasn't sure what to expect for breakfast, but was truly a remarkable selection of both hot and cold food. Food was replenished regularly. Highly Recommend this hotel! December 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very happy with the Element in Vegas! Any hotel that can look as nice as it does while allowing and encouraging dogs and teen-age male basketball players is a hit! We were very happy with the amenities and will stay there again! July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is superb We just attended this hotel for our Family Reunion. It was simply great! The facility is unusually functional, the staff very hospitable, and the food delicious. All of this made our function exceptionally enjoyable. July 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel off the Strip This hotel is great for comfort and quality service. The suites are great and the shower head and bed are wonderful. The last two times we have been on the freeway side of the hotel. We would prefer the side away from the freeway noise, but being on the top floor was really nice. The free breakfast is great and staff are so friendly. Thanks! One suggestion would be to offer flavored creamers with the coffee. April 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by incredible staff The staff really went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. we had some special needs the day met with a smile. it was family friendly and pet friendly. the breakfast was amazing strawberry smoothies and everything. our only wish is that they have a Jacuzzi. we are locals to Las Vegas but needed to stay on that side of town for a night. I can't wait to have another opportunity to stay again. April 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by great place My first stay at an Element brand. Very nice hotel. I love the decor, the colours, the layout. We booked a one bedroom suite and it was very comfy with a modern feel inside the room. Breakfast is included with stay and is very good. Will definately return to this property when I'm back in Vegas. July 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great place to stay away from The Strip! Finding a place to stay for business in Vegas that doesn't smell like cigarettes, Febreze and desperation can be very difficult. Element is not only an excellent business hotel, it's conveniently located on the 215, and is extremely clean and comfortable. On top of that, the staff and GM are professional, courteous, and very hospitable. I will definitely recommend this property. April 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times now while looking for homes in the area without disappointment. We've enjoyed the king studio as well as the double queen when we took our 3 young kids. The rooms are great-- DVD player, in-room kitchen and free wifi. And a free, good breakfast in the morning. Will definitely be recommending this hotel when family/friends come to visit! May 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for family. Spacious rooms! This hotel desires a 5 star but I deducted 1 star due to their lack of response to my request after I've checked. My kid left a few children's book behind and I called within a few hours after we left. No one called me back. I had to call constantly to followup. At the end, the books were never found which doesn't make sense. Overall, the hotel is great for families with spacious room. Clean! May 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A surprise I just stayed in the Manhattan Element (disappointed) and was a little skeptical of this planned stay. Boy, was I wrong - this location delivered on all that it promised and then some. The breakfast was a delicious reason to want to get out of bed in the morning, the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful and my room was nice and quiet and very clean. I highly recommend this location! October 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff The entire staff was awesome. We arrived about 9pm and the front desk clerk, I belieive his name was "JR", a young man, he was very accomadating and because I am a GOLD member with SPG he offered us a free upgrade in which I was going to ask for anyway. We were very happy there at this hotel, it is our 2nd visit. We will be back and I wil nbe looking for THe Element in all of my traVELS June 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Staycation! My husband and I stayed here Memorial Day weekend for a short staycation without our 18 month old little girl to celebrate my birthday. We had a great time! The hotel is close to lots of great things to do, but not in the middle of the craziness. The breakfast was amazing! I really enjoyed the modern design too. I would absolutely recommend it to any friend or family visiting the area!! May 28, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very dissatisfied with my stay I have been a regular visitor to this hotel for nearly three years. However, the last few visits I have been increasingly dissatisfied. After this experience, I plan to stay elsewhere the next time I am in the Las Vegas area. Among my concerns: 1. I was dissatisfied with my room. The first room had a defective mattress and the second had a defective air conditioner. 2. The room I ended up in had a door to the next room. Even through it was closed, so much noise came through that I had to sleep with earplugs. 3. On one elevator trip, another guest with a large dog got on the elevator. The dog was not under control and jumped on me. This is not the fault of the hotel, but the fact that I need to expect this to happen in this hotel adds to my concerns about staying here again. 4. Finally, when I went to check out, the front desk was unattended. The person in front of me waited for over a minute before walking off in disgust. I waited another minute and finally had to shout for help which brought someone out from the back. None of these may seem significant, but during my stay I did NOT feel like a “Gold Preferred Member” and I left the building certain that I wanted to stay somewhere else on my next trip. Rated 2 out of 5 by review No recognition for platinum SPG members. Too many dogs inside the hotel, which generate bad smile. The hotel rooms does not match the typical SPG hotel in this category. July 19, 2014
