Rated 4 out of 5 by I expected more Upon arrival the front desk attendant did give us an upgrade when our reservation could not be found in the computer. Bed was not that comfortable, and the ac in the room was either very cold or not cold enough and it was not working where you could program a specific temperature. Second day in the afternoon our room was still not cleaned. After housekeeping came they forgot certain items that were there originally, like coffee, towels clean glasses. August 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rocky Mountain High We came to Denver for a wedding and extended our visit with a week in Winter Park. We spent our last 2 nights at Denver Park Meadows Element to be centrally located to The USAFA, Garden of the Gods, Pike's Peak and The Denver Airport (all within 45 min. Or less.) This was our first stay at Element (by Westin) and it won't be our last. We had some left over veggies and staples from our condo stay in Winter Park, so we really enjoyed having a full sized refrigerator and kitchenette in our studio suite (they also have larger suites). We had a great sunset view and the mountains The bathroom had a very large shower with a hand held shower head and a mounted Over sized rain shower head. Shampoo/conditioner combo dispenser and body gel cleanser is also dispensed. Beds are comfortable and our room was quiet. If you don't want to utilize your kitchen, a hot breakfast is offered in the mornings 7 days a week and drinks and hors d'oeuvres are offered in the evenings (M-Th only). Pets are allowed, but I never heard any barking and the rooms smelled fresh and clean. There is a nice work station in the room as well as a seating area with a comfortable sofa. (Free WIFI)The large flat screen TV swivels so you can watch in bed, on sofa or in the kitchen. Perfect for a business traveler or family traveling for pleasure. My only concern is with brand recognition with Element. "By Westin" is not featured on the building. I would suggest adding "by Westin" on your building. August 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sound Insulation Lacking The room was fine, though it could have used a deeper cleaning. However, I was repeatedly awoken by the sounds of conversation in my room - apparently transmitted directly into my bathroom via the ventilation system - both nights of my stay. The housekeeping staff was exceptionally loud in the morning - slamming doors, banging on doors, and it is difficult to maneuver luggage through a hallway when the housekeeping cart is blocking the entirety of the hallway. Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Fantastic Visit Another late night in Lonetree that ended very well. Quick check in and Matt took good care of us as always. Sad I left my watch in the room but hoping they found it, going to stop in tonight or tomorrow again. Either way will def be back as the hotel is amazing and the service is far superior than my previous choices of your competitors which stand no chance. Thanks again Matt!! August 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice hotel Hotel is very clean. It is a modern hotel with clean edges everywhere. No round curves anywhere. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again. Only criticism I would have is that the TV is on a lazy susan so you can swirl it around to view from the dining area, work area, bed, common sitting area, etc. However, the cords must have been wound up around that lazy susan becuase it acted as if it was spring loaded and kept wanting to turn around away from where I wanted to view. I had to prop my computer bag against it to stay in place. August 5, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by They weren't expecting us I checked into a suite with my adult daughter and infant grandson. We needed two rooms so the baby could sleep. The crib was in the room, but when we all went to bed, I pulled out the sofa bed and there were no sheets, blankets, pillows. I had to order a "bed bag." I was specific with the reservation, but it was like they weren't expecting us. Two towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth. They may have set up for one person and not three. You just don't know what you're missing till you go to use it. The remote was missing, no channel guide in the room. Had to call front desk many times. The air conditoner in the room kept the bedroom freezing, and the other room to noisy. The air conditioner didn't go off all night, so I lost a night's sleep. Nice people, but not a good experience. Rated 4 out of 5 by SHOWING WEAR The layout of the room (executive suite) we had this time was fantastic. We have been staying at this Element since it was brand new. It is showing signs of wear and not being maintained as well. The soaps in the room have a delicious smell so you don't get that scummy soap smell as on so many older hotels. I would like it better if they gave us more than one towel per person. I would also like the bedding to look crisper. It almost looks used. The sheet arrangement (one on top and one under a down cover) is a bit messy and by morning we were totally entangled. That comforter isn't long enough either so once it is tucked in at the bottom it is really too short. Then there is the top comforter, which I'm sure isn't washed each time, and it is so heavy that it is uncomfortable to use. July 26, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great night's sleep This Hotel was very clean, the beds very comfortable. The rooms are set-up for a business traveler with a desk and full kitchen, which is nice but there was no room to put things away, i.e.: dresser. The floors are all tile, not carpet, so not as comfortable as they could be. There wasn't any kind of TV guide. The self serve breakfast was very good, but was put up at 9:30 promptly, even though we were still eating and trying to get a few more items, they just continued to pack it up. I felt that they should been more hospitable to the customer. July 25, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Customer Service Matt greated us promptly at the desk and we couldn't of found better service anywhere. We arrived very late in the night and he treated us as if we were there during normal business hours. It was the second hotel we had visited that night and glad we were able to stay at Element as the place was immaculate. Matt was what we were most impressed with as he got us the perfect room, quickly and with nothing short of perfect service. Thanks Matt!!! July 15, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Michelle is awesome I spent a week at the Element and it was overall pretty darn good. The bed and pillows were nice and comfy and the actual room met my expectations (minus the fact that they don't have drawers for your clothes only closets). What really made this stay great was, Michelle. She runs the "managers happy hour" and is amazing. She learned our names, asked about our day, and by the second day she already knew what we wanted to drink. :) She's a very special lady that has great recommenations on food too... the front desk was a little clueless. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for families or business travelers! Great conveniences built into Element. Full sized new refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and kitchen utensils made this stay very comfortable. A very nice breakfast included, as well as a complimentary beer and wine happy hour with appetizers weekdays, excluding Fri-weekend! The pool is small and it is indoors with a glass folding wall that opens in good weather. No jacuzzi though. The propertty is only three years old so it has a new feel. The staff was wonderful and service of a luxury resort from everyone we came in contact with. Great price point! Near restaurants and shopping and highway close to the "high country" of beautiful Colorado! You will not be disappointed! Look no further! June 18, 2013

This promise was fulfilled when I saw the opportunity to stay at the Element again. The staff is awesome and the rooms are amazing, they both exceed expectations. Rated 5 out of 5 by Extended stay Starwood style I was a little leery staying at the element for the first time. I have stayed at aloft's and don't particular care for them and the element seemed the same way, but I was very surprised and happy to find that this Element is very nice. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help, the rooms are spacious and very well appointed with full size fridges, ovens, everything you would need for an extended stay. This Element also has a salt water pool. Its super close to many tasty places to eat and a huge mall. Its about 20-30 minutes from downtown Denver, but worth the trip. We stayed here when we had to commute to Colorado Springs as its the closest Starwood hotel to that area. The SPG recognition is hit or miss depending on who's working, but all the rooms are nice so its not a huge deal. They did give me some little snacks most my stays, so that was nice. June 15, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Two improvements I would dearly love to have nonfat Greek yogurt on the breakfast menu. I can't eat eggs daily and need nonsweet protein in the morning. More important - I almost walked through one of the windows. Your logo on the glass doors is beautiful but not eye-catching enough for older eyes. And many windows had no warning logos of any kind. Since the windows are so clean, I truly was fooled repeatedly. June 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful hotel but room wasn't quite ready The Element is one of my favorite hotels to stay at, but my most recent visit left a little to be desired. Around 10 am I requested that at some point the pullout couch in our room be made up. We went out for a day of sightseeing, and when we returned at 11:45 pm exhausted found that the couch was not made up, nor did we have linens in our room to make it up ourselves. Furthermore, we had been completely out of tissues in the bathroom, and those had not been refilled. We called down to the front desk to get linens, and the front desk attendant dropped them off about 20 min later. I realize they have limited staff that late at night, but when you just want to go to bed, 20 min. is a long time to wait. There were a couple other problems that led me to believe the hotel was just a bit overloaded the weekend I visited. Our room wasn't completely clean when we got there. Nothing major - mostly just a few stray hairs in the bathroom and on the sheets, but certainly noticeable. We also arrived at breakfast each day about an hour before closing to find it very busy and had to ask for things like bowls and found that they were out of a lot of the food items. Overall, though, these were pretty minor inconveniences. I love the Element and would definitely recommend others give it a try. June 3, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Really Let Down Dan at the front desk at check in referred the Hotel to a Silver "Leaf" not LEED. I told him I had built several LEED projects and he just stared at me then commented their was only one level of "Leaf" building. Things got worse when we checked into our room and had a refrigerator full of food from the previous occupants, no towels and it was apparent the carpet had not been vacuumed. The NEXT day after leaving the room for a round of golf and returning around 5 PM the room still was not made up or cleaned. No towels, no sheets, no service. We called for housekeeping who brought 2 bath towels and had to ask for wash clothes. 20 minutes later housekeeping was at the door asking to clean the room, we explained that we had just gotten our towels and would like to shower first, then we would go out to dinner and they could then have access to the room. Housekeeping replied that we may have missed our opportunity to have the room cleaned. What a disappointment. May 28, 2013
