Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Choice! I was surprised by the quality of this hotel for the price/ starpointsI loved the trendy and modern loft style. The free breakfast was better than most. The great music in the gym helped my get good workout on the elyptical. I think the bed was the best I've ever slept in! There is nothing around this location but there is a nice path to walk your dog. Ladies I would bring some hair conditioner with you because they only have the 2 in 1 shampoo type. I will definately seek out Element in the future! October 12, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great amenities Great experience at this hotel! Loved that they are pet friendly without a fee (if under the specified weight). Full breakfast offered each morning is wonderful. Hotel is clean, easy to access from freeway, not that far from the strip and other places, and helpful staff. Loved the full kitchen and fridge. Good space for the bathroom and closet. Only thing that could be improved, the bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have expected, it was sort of lumpy, and the pillows are a bit stiff. October 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay I stayed for 3 days to go to convention nearby. The room and staff were great. The venue is pleasantly minimalist/modern, but not wanting in any way. The room was immaculate. My 4th floor room had a nice view of the mountains. The housekeeping staff were great when I left my car keys in the room safe. They have mailed them back right away. I think this is the best business hotel I've visited. Clean, comfortable, great staff, and no baloney. BTW, the continental breakfast couldn't be beat. March 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Relaxing Hotel with Great Service We had a wonderful stay at the Element in Las Vegas. It is located about a ten minute drive from the strip, right next tot the highway, which is perfect for getting around town and is much quieter than anything downtown. The hotel is beautiful and the bed is one of the best I've ever slept on. Front desk staff were wonderful, Grant brought out bottled water to the pool for us as we were swimming, had my shoes shined one night, and arranged for late check out. The Element made our business/pleasure weekend work out perfectly. The rooms are great, service is top notch, and it is a very relaxing atmosphere. The free breakfast is delicious. If you want the strip go downtown, but if you want an oasis to relax and unwind in between casinos and business meetings I would definitely recommend the Element. September 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quiet, lovely place This is a beautiful, comfortable hotel. It was 9 miles from my work in Las Vegas but worth the drive. We were al surprised how much we liked it. A great business hotel, great breakfast, nice staff who took care of everything. Bike shop next door and Red Rocks very close. March 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic New Spin on the Extended-Stay Model OVERALL IMPRESSION: Breezy, hip, clean - this is the extended-stay option for a new generation of road warriors. SPG RECOGNITION: Two category upgrade to a One-Bedroom Suite. An excellent Continental Breakfast is already complimentary so I opted for points. THE ROOM: Excellently-designed and highly functional. LOCATION: Easy access from the highway. Great location for those with business in Summerlin but also not an unfeasible distance from the Strip. EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS: Absolutely stellar service from the reception clerk - JP - who made us feel immediately welcome. Greeted us by name and was totally on-top of our special requests. I suspect superb management from the top because the same enthusiastic approach to service was evident in all the staff - especially our delightful breakfast server. January 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Element Love Element It's a great concept and their breakfast rocks. I like that it is environmentally conscience too. Great staff. March 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Glad I stayed here! I chose the Element for its location and the kitchenette. I was glad I did. It was a quiet location, but very close to the major roadway and only a short drive downtown. And no slot machines in the lobby - that was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful - special kudos to the afternoon/evening manager - you'll forgive me for not remembering your name, but your knowledge of the area and the available tours made our stay that much more enjoyable. Rated 5 out of 5 by I would recommend this hotel Overall, I found my stay to be excellent. It was nice to be at a smaller, quiter hotel. Uitlized swimming pool and fitness room and found them both more than adequate. I was impressed with the extensive breakfast including healthy options such as yogurt, smoothies, and egg white/tomato/cheese sandwiches. Any concerns were handled promptly and to my complete satisfaction by front desk help and mangagement. I was there for a conference; missed having shuttle service available. September 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful, clean hotel in a great location! I needed a place to stay close to the Vegas strip where I could feel safe being a female and by myself. Great location and easy access to freeway. Element is only a 15-20 minute drive to the strip. Their room amenities are fantastic...free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, kitchenette, bbq grills, pool and workout facility. The rooms are clean, quiet and stylish. Although I was alone, I would definitely come back with friends or family so they can enjoy a stay at Element as I did! August 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Luxurious with a sleek style I loved this hotel. From the outside it looks kind of plain. The inside was beautiful & modern. All employees were very pleasant and helpful. We had a 1 bedroom suite. The decor was very much the current style with glass tile on the wall & muted colors. I appreciated that this was a "green" hotel. The bedding was sooo comfy. It had everything you could want, even a stocked kitchen. I loved getting a nice breakfast downstairs. A good selection and plenty of food. September 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Always a great place to stay Staying at the Element makes my business travel more enjoyable. The beds are great and the rooms are large and always clean. The breakfast is always very good. Try it once and you will be back. March 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect hotel in perfect location. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and cannot fault it at all. The location is superb. Only about 20 mins from Las Vegas Strip and really close to Red Rcok Canyon and Lake Mead etc. The pool area was quiet and well maintained. The room was brilliant with a great kitchen and really comfy bed. The free breakfast went down well also. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Las Vegas without all the noise and expense of staying on the Strip. July 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Will Be Back! The staff was beyond accommodating during our stay and handled issues with the room immediately. We will definitely be back when we are need of an extended stay hotel. One of the best! March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay Really liked this hotel for the location, design, quality of kitchen equipment, and friendly staff especially the breakfast women and the housekeepers. Weekend breakfast good with pancakes and scrambled eggs. Didn't much care for the bagel sandwich during the week. Would be nice if there were a microwave to warm to pastries. Would really like an Aloft-style fruit cup and perhaps scrambled eggs during the week. Disliked the extremely noisy air conditioner. It was almost intolerable. Also disliked the noisy bathroom fan that could not be turned off. Also the elevators were noisy in a scary way - the doors made a weird scraping sound. We noticed how poorly all the room doors fit (odd, because the rest of the construction and finish appeared to be of highest quality) but did not hear other guests. Room was quiet except for a/c and fan. September 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Stay! This is my second stay at this hotel in two years, so was interested to see if it was as good as last year-and it was. The front desk was fantastic, polite, and efficient. The room was clean with no issues. The gym was clean and well maintained. I wasn't sure what to expect for breakfast, but was truly a remarkable selection of both hot and cold food. Food was replenished regularly. Highly Recommend this hotel! December 28, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by truth in advertising This Las Vegas Element hotel advertised an outdoor swimming pool heated to 85 degrees. However, the water was VERY cold. The staff did not pretend that the advertised degrees made any sense. Does Element or Starwood believe in Truth in Advertising? December 31, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel away from the Strip Great if you have a car. Staying here you get to avoid all the traffic in and around the strip. They are pet friendly which is plus for my family. Nice equipped rooms. They have all the amenities: Refrigerator, stove top, microwave. Awesome bed, very comfortable. The hotel is good for weekend travelers as well as extended stay customers. Staff is very friendly. This place is a must stay for our family when we are in Las Vegas. October 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Modern eco-friendly hotel only problem was the a/c vent in the room blowing loud and strong directly on the bed, had to turn a/c off over night, impossible to sleep with it. Otherwise a very nice, clean, modern hotel, great breakfast very well organized. February 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the kitchen in the room Like having access to full size frig for food and drinks instead of mini frig in most other hotels. March 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Self Catering Hotel! Spacious room, great view of hills, spotlessly clean, comfortable, useful kitchen area, good gym, smallish pool, a self catering hotel with inclusive breakfasts. Highly recommended, wife and I enjoyed our six day stay greatly and would book in as a first choice if we ever return to LV. We felt at home immediately. Staff friendly, responsive and professional. Thank-you! Highly Recommended! $35.00 taxi ride to Strip. September 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by incredible staff The staff really went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. we had some special needs the day met with a smile. it was family friendly and pet friendly. the breakfast was amazing strawberry smoothies and everything. our only wish is that they have a Jacuzzi. we are locals to Las Vegas but needed to stay on that side of town for a night. I can't wait to have another opportunity to stay again. April 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel off the Strip This hotel is great for comfort and quality service. The suites are great and the shower head and bed are wonderful. The last two times we have been on the freeway side of the hotel. We would prefer the side away from the freeway noise, but being on the top floor was really nice. The free breakfast is great and staff are so friendly. Thanks! One suggestion would be to offer flavored creamers with the coffee. April 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gerald Martin Really pleased with the room. However, paint was chipped off, baseboards showed wear and tear and dirt. Staff was super helpful. February 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A surprise I just stayed in the Manhattan Element (disappointed) and was a little skeptical of this planned stay. Boy, was I wrong - this location delivered on all that it promised and then some. The breakfast was a delicious reason to want to get out of bed in the morning, the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful and my room was nice and quiet and very clean. I highly recommend this location! October 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times now while looking for homes in the area without disappointment. We've enjoyed the king studio as well as the double queen when we took our 3 young kids. The rooms are great-- DVD player, in-room kitchen and free wifi. And a free, good breakfast in the morning. Will definitely be recommending this hotel when family/friends come to visit! May 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for family. Spacious rooms! This hotel desires a 5 star but I deducted 1 star due to their lack of response to my request after I've checked. My kid left a few children's book behind and I called within a few hours after we left. No one called me back. I had to call constantly to followup. At the end, the books were never found which doesn't make sense. Overall, the hotel is great for families with spacious room. Clean! May 1, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Staff ineffective Another Co-Worker and I stayed at the Las Vegas Element this week and I was supposed to stay next week as well but we are moving back to the Courtyard. I had a movie charge on my room bill and explained to the front desk person when I was checking out that I never even turned on my TV; however, he ignored the charge and continued to process my departure and handing me my bill. Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff The entire staff was awesome. We arrived about 9pm and the front desk clerk, I belieive his name was "JR", a young man, he was very accomadating and because I am a GOLD member with SPG he offered us a free upgrade in which I was going to ask for anyway. We were very happy there at this hotel, it is our 2nd visit. We will be back and I wil nbe looking for THe Element in all of my traVELS June 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Staycation! My husband and I stayed here Memorial Day weekend for a short staycation without our 18 month old little girl to celebrate my birthday. We had a great time! The hotel is close to lots of great things to do, but not in the middle of the craziness. The breakfast was amazing! I really enjoyed the modern design too. I would absolutely recommend it to any friend or family visiting the area!! May 28, 2013
