Rated 4 out of 5 by Miami2013 Front Desk
The staff at front desk needs to improve the communication with guest. No welcome, no details about the hotel, I didn't even know what time was breakfast until my 2 day of stay. I asked for more information in regards to area dining, I felt I was been pushed away, I didn't find any help; maybe I was time for the staff to go home. I really enjoyed the hotel-room was great, it would be a prefect stay I the front desk staff had better attitude.

Clean place ..mgr severely question our transportation charge oN folio. If he read notes left by previous night staff....he might have been nicer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cmcq12567 Excellent Guest Services Staff-Great Breakfast
The front office staff are very helpful and accommodating when it comes to asking for directions, local knowledge etc. Staff offered to print out directions and arrange shuttle if required.
Very comfortable beds. Very clean and fresh overall. Great full breakfast-real coffee.
We had problem with ancillary staff-maintenance as our fridge wasn't working and then it made loud noises all night-when we told guest services staff they immediately corrected the situation.
Our room wasn't made up until the evening although we had been out all day and had asked the domestic staff to please clean between 9 and 4.30 as our baby would sleep when we returned-however, not done when we returned at 4.30. I advised guest service staff who again immediately attended to this.
Overall, excellent guest service staff who go out of their way to ensure guests are looked after and satisfied. The front office supervisor Colton went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied although we had encountered these couple of problems-Colton ensured that when we left we would return as his service delivery was outstanding. Thumbs up overall and would recommend to anyone looking for a clean, fresh hotel with staff who DO care.

Rated 1 out of 5 by diane lack of food
We arrived from the west coast tired and hungry. We were unable to get any food. There wasn't even an ice bucket in the room. The front desk person Bill said that we could order from several outside restauranst. When we tried - they were all closed. Finally Bill brought us a couple of bananas from the kitchen as well as a large bag of ice.
The room was clean abd well furnished although I was confused by the elaborate kitchen - not sure how one is able to get the food to cook since most people arrive by air. The hall carpet was stained and needed vacuming

Rated 2 out of 5 by JMar No Electricity - No Compensation
On Thursday night I arrived back to the hotel about 10 pm to find that there was no electricity in the hotel. Apparently it had been out since 5pm and they had no idea of when it might come back on. That meant no AC in Miami which is unbearable. I had to leave the hotel to find power to charge my cell phone and continue to do some work. The staff didn't offer any solutions other that giving me a flashlight. They didn't offer to move me to another hotel or didn't offer to provide any compensation. When I checked out, they took my SPG# and said that they would TRY to get me some additional points.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BUSAUSA Good Basic Hotel
Best thing is that it is relatively new. Not-so-best thing: directly in the flight path of departing flights...noise is considerable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FrequentTrav No follow up or professionalism
Let me first begin by saying don't stay here. There are other SPG hotels in the area that are better located and have restaurants and grocery store close by. This hotel is located in a terrible location. I stayed at this facility about a month ago. From the pictures online, I thought it would be a perfect hotel to stay for two weeks. However, after the first night, I begin to have issues with my AC. After speaking to the Front office Manager on several occasions, and not getting any assistance, I changed my reservation to the minimum amount of days until I could move. I actually email the General Manager on the day that I checked out, thinking he would have some professionalism and return my call or e-mail, but he never did. I stayed at this hotel to see if it would accommodate a seminar for 150 people in the future but it failed the test. I'm glad I found out early about the service and like my mom always says, if you are not getting the service you desire, take your business elsewhere.
