WHITE PLAINS, NY - September 10, 2008– Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) today announced plans to open a Four Points® by Sheraton hotel in El Paso, Texas. Owned by Vimla, LLC, Four Points by Sheraton El Paso Airport is scheduled to open in November of 2010 just one mile from the El Paso International Airport. The newly-built hotel will offer 117 comfortable rooms, ample meeting facilities, a social atmosphere and popular extras guests love, including complimentary high-speed Internet access.

Four Points by Sheraton El Paso Airport will offer an ideal location, approximately ten minutes from the shops, restaurants and entertainment in downtown El Paso and a fifteen-minute drive from Juarez, Mexico. The hotel will offer proximity to The Cielo Vista Mall, Fort Bliss, the Biggs Army Airbase, The University of Texas El Paso and several area golf courses, Nearby corporate offices include Raytheon, Johnson & Johnson and Cardinal Health Care.
