Currency Fluctuations
For non-US hotels, rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the hotel at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within the hotel's control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card. Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.
Hotel Policies
ADA Policy
The hotel is compliant with ADA. ADA compliant guest rooms are available.
Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older (with valid identification).
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room. Minors must check-in with a guardian.
Babysitting/Child Care Policy
We are pleased to offer professional babysitting and child care services. Kindly place the request 24 hours in advance. We will strive to meet any requests for babysitting and will also provide the same babysitter whenever possible.
Check Policy
Personal checks are not accepted as method of payment. Travellers checks are accepted from registered hotel guests with valid identification.
The hotel does not offer check cashing services.
Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms are available but not guaranteed and need to be requested. Please contact the hotel directly to make these arrangements.
Early Departure Policy
Please be advised that a fee of one night's room rate plus taxes will apply to all early departures. Guests who book special offers (fully prepaid, non-refundable rate plans) will not be refunded on any unoccupied nights.
Early Arrival and Late Checkout Policy
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to room availability. Early check-in before 9am may incur one full night's charge. Late check-out before 6pm may incur half night's charge. A full night's charge will be charged for check-outs after 6pm.
Family Plan Policy
Children age three and under dine free when accompanied by an adult (buffet breakfast and buffet dinner only). Children between the ages of 4 and 12 receive 50% off adult meal rates.
Gift Certificate Policy
To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly. Starwood Privilege vouchers can be redeemed within the validity period with advanced reservation. Please provide voucher number at time of booking. At check in, please present the voucher and Starwood Privilege membership card.
Housekeeping Policy
Due to the pungent odor of Durian tropical fruit, we regret that it is not permitted in enclosed hotel areas.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee. Storage handling procedures are implemented in compliance with the hotel’s Security Rules and Regulations.
Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed.
Payment Policy
Hotel accepts payment with cash or valid credit cards. For third party credit card payment, the card holder must complete an Authorization Approval Form and fax or email a clear copy of the front and back of the credit card to the hotel prior to the guest's arrival. Authorization Approval Forms can be obtained by contacting the hotel or Customer Call Centers. Guests paying in cash will be asked to pay full accommodation rate plus $100 bond per day for incidentals. The unused portion of the bond will be refunded at checkout.
Pool Policy
It is our pleasure to extend the use of our pool exclusively to our hotel guests. There are no lifeguards on duty, although our pool and watersport attendants are trained in CPR and First Aid. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited inside the elevators, on non-smoking floors and within designated non-smoking guest rooms. A minimum 200RMB penalty will be applied for smoking within the prohibited areas. Penalty varies depending on the level of maintenance required.
Visa/Passport Policy
All non-local residents must present a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry in to Malaysia. Please check with the nearest Embassy of Malaysia to ensure you are compliant with entry rules and procedures. If guests cannot fulfill the requirements, they may not be allowed to enter the country. The hotel will not be held responsible for any failure to comply with this Visa/Passport Policy.
