Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall, it was good except the disturbing at night. Overall, everything was good. Except, at night, some youths(seemed to too hilarious and walking loudly) passing the corridor knocked the door at night(about 10PM) interrupted the sleeping. It was so lucky as my wife and I just fell asleep then woke up. To go back to sleep, I spent 4 hours because I had to struggle on the phone to explain this to the duty manager who requested the security team to monitor the 15th floor. The apology was acceptable when I checked out and during the night when I called up to the duty manager. Nevertheless, the nice and calm atmosphere at our sleeping was interrupted no matter what apology was to us on the phone after we tossed a couple of Champagne to celebrate the Mother's day for my wife. I will speculate to concern if this hotel is too casual to stay calm and quiet for the family. May 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Service The facilities were of high standard as expected. Customer service was fantastic which pushed the rating from good to excellent. Only issue was charging for parking in 24 hour blocks - whereas many other hotels will allow you to stay for over 24 hours, but less than 48 hours, and only charge for 1 night. August 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Where are the taxis? For a hotel to boast as being the largest in Australia, it should have better arrangements with local taxi service providers. I waited nearly 30 minutes on Sunday at midday for a taxi to the airport. Coupled with the elderly driver who finally showed up and the surface streets he took to get to SYD, I arrived for my flight with only an hour to spare. In total, from the time starting with me coming downstairs to my arrival at the airport, it was a 1 hour and 20 minutes journey. March 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best all round hotel in Australia I run a high end digital marketing and Media company and I have traveled the world and stay in ALOT of nice hotels. Four points is definitely one of the best. GREAT buffet, staff are friendly an d very respectful. Harbour view room has excellent view and very nice design of rooms. I will always stay at Four points any time I am traveling to syd for work or holiday. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to explore the facilities however I will certainly be back as soon as I can. October 20, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Dissapointing I arrived at the hotel in the morning at 7am to check in. Check in was initally smooth and advised for my bags to be brought up to the room as I will be coming back to the hotel at 4pm. Ariving at 4pm to pick up my rooms keys I was advised my room was not clean and by bags were sent to an incorrect room. After 20 mins and a room change I checked into the room. The room was clean and had what I needed. After 2 phone calls my bags finally arrived to my new room 40 minutes later. Check out was fine. However when returning from work to collect my bags, three people who arrived asfter me to collect their bags received their bags before me. As a Starwood Pteferred Guest I feel I got no 'preference' and as a corporate customer I received well below the minimum service. I The staff lack initative and genuiness. December 12, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel BUT! The hotel is beautiful, it has lovely rooms with great facilities. Located in the heart of the CBD it is great for shops, restaurants and transport. BUT there is a $100 holding fee on your credit card (the amount apparently is in small print and not pointed out), which I am still waiting to reimbursed over a week later! August 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible sleep I was given room next to lifts, and had lot of noise. On my request to change, they downgraded my room (but at the same tariff). And second room also had lift noise for whole of the night. I requested to check out first thing in morning (instead of 3 nights), and then they again changed my room... still unsatisfactory. Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor Facilities The bar and restaurant facilities are inadequate. The opening times of the roof top bar were limited. On the occasion when we visited this bar the staff were carrying a number of heaters from the area immediately adjacent to where we were seated. This greatly detracted from the romance of the beautiful setting. The Carpet between the lifts is well past its use by date. Replace with tiles. Without exception the staff were faultless in presentation, friendliness and efficiency October 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Improvement needed Rooms are getting an upgrade which is good as it was due. My upgraded room smelled of paint fumes. The control box for the TV was left hanging by the cord in mid air against the wall. Looks like to reno on this particular room was not complete yet. Very slow checking out in the morning, not enough staff on the front desk at this peak period even for gold preferred. Do not bother with breakfast here, way too expensive. Plenty of lower cost alternatives within a 2 minute walk. February 8, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by 4 points by Sheraton Darling Harbour We were a little disappointed when friends checked in for one night and were offered a much cheaper rate and higher room and free breakfast for two. We paid a higher rate used a voucher to get upgraded to a lower floor and paid for breakfast and dinner, NOT HAPPY,I did ask for a late check out and we weregiven to 12 noon, that was after we had to vacate our room for 4 hrs the day before not good enough. Rated 3 out of 5 by No complimentary wifi in room Compared to my previous stay, I was disappointed as I did not get a double bed which I had requested for in advance, and no complimentary wifi in room. I had to make my way to hotel lobby to access free wifi every night which is cumbersome. August 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by the sheraton corporation would be embarassed the individual staff were very professional. the room air con was stuck on 19 and wouldnt increase. i was cold from the moment i entered. it was a cold and wet raining day so i was looking forward to heating up - i never did. i asked for a A/C tech - he arrived fiddled and blamed me for having the fan speed set on high - i hadnt touched it. i waitied longer hours and still the temp was on 19. i called again and was offered a mobile heater and blanket. i accepted the blanket. getting into bed - my sheets were cold to the touch - i called downstairs again at 9pmand complained - offered to change me too late - i was tired from travelling and was ready for bed. just a terrible cold night sleep - tossing all night. why was room a/c on 19 degrees? was it broken then sheraton stuck me in a room with a broken Air Con - or was it stuck on 19 deliberately for cost savings maybe? then started the next day of travelling more just tired, and cold - just a horrible way to start any day - let alone form a sheraton - no way- im not recommending - in fact im telling everyone exactly the facts. you will have all these details logged into your computer system, - check it out and confirm everything - i challenge you! Rated 3 out of 5 by other services too expensive! I end up going out of the hotel for breakfast. does anyone really pay $35 for breakfast? I find this price offensive. I also go out of the hotel to have my cleaning done. I think your prices are ridiculous you're charging a premium for internet access as well. too bad i couldn't find an alternate provider August 1, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by The service is not good HI, I happened to stay at your Four points, Darling Harbour hotel. I had a very average experience during my stay. 1) I had requested for a set of toothbrush and paste and 45 minutes later had to call again and that was sent soon after that .. had to nearly wait for an hour altogether 2) The breakfast was cold (eggs and coffee), the guy delivering breakfast did not deliver bread until i had to ask after 2 minutes and then other components where missing (yoghurt) that was indicated in the breakfast order. 3) The checkout took 24 minutes - as the breakfast bill was not sent to the reception by the time of the checkout. 4) Toilet / bathroom was not clean with a lot of hair on the floor A very bad experience and i would be talking to my corporate travel folks to take these issues in to consideration for further bookings February 14, 2013

Location was excellent and great to be able to walk to all attractions close by. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a very pleasant stay in Sydney. Many thanks. August 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect except for the noise Since it's revamp, the rooms are just lovely. Comfortable and warm and inviting. Very disappointing to be woken at 6am by a crane being erected outside my window - had we known, we probably would not have stayed there - it was our escape for one night with no kids and we were dying for a sleep in! Rated 4 out of 5 by Housekeeping We stay frequently at the Four Points Sheraton. On our stays, from approximately 7:30am, we have had to listen to housekeeping staff continually slamming doors as they service the rooms. This is more annoying during the weekends when one wishes to sleep a little later. We raised it three times with the reception desk with the assurance that it would be dealt with - nothing was done. Disappointing - it is not hard to close a door behind you rather than let it slam !! November 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel needs a couple of changes Really enjoyed stay, helpful staff lovely clean room. Unfortunately no information on numbers to contact any staff in hotel , needed a folder on general information about the hotel. Our shower barely worked took ages to wash shampoo out of hair needs water saving devices removed!! A lot of hotels we have stayed in have all removed theirs now as there are no water restrictions in place.. We usually stay at the Sheraton on the park would probably stay there next time. Rated 3 out of 5 by New rooms not so great Been staying at this hotel for a week each year for over 5 years. New rooms are nicely decorated, however there are a few problems. Rooms are dark, with very little lighting. The bathroom has two down lights, so you can hardly see yourself in the mirror. Showers have very little water pressure, and on high temp is still not very hot. Rooms are smaller since the recent renovations. I also cant believe they do not offer free WiFi, must be the only hotel that does not. August 19, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Business Stay - May 2013 The hotel itself is very nice, as is the location but I have to say I was a bit disappointed to get a room with 2 single beds and the quilt on the bed was very thin and lightweight for this time of year. I had to really crank up the air-con to keep warm. The meals were pretty expensive for what they were, especially breakfast since the bacon was burnt and it was nothing spectacular. I would possibly stay again simply for the location but I would eat somewhere else. May 8, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow what a great hotel Wanting a high class hotel in Darling Harbour , close to bars and restaurants at a good price... And that's what I got. From the moment the taxi pulled up at the front door we were treated like royalty. Staff were friendly and thought of everything (even going out in the rain to put an umbrella over my head to protect my hair) The room was clean and tidy, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and will be looking for hotels in this chain in other locations. Rated 1 out of 5 by Cannot recommend after this visit Aircon does not go higher than 24. City side rooms freezing. aircon flow was cold air. TV pic does not fit screen and sound does not go higher than 40 & some channels volume is louder than others. Locked out of room last day. Poor response from staff who 'demanded' id - could have handled professionally. Door in dining room by kitchen banged incessantly every few seconds from staff going in and out. Breakfast hot buffet was cold at 8.45. May 24, 2014

Only negative is that adjacent road works caused some minor disruptive noise at night however this was not the fault of the hotel. I would like to bring my 2 young children to this hotel as I stay here on business however the hotel does not have any family suites which is unfortunate. July 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, great view I was given a free upgrade to a room with harbor view which was fantastic as there is fireworks on Saturday evening. However, the air-conditioning was not working. I called the reception and they send a technician which only partially solved the problem. There were 2 air-conditioning duct for the living and bedroom area and he managed to get the living area air-conditioning working. It proves that the air-conditioning was insufficient and we were freezing in the night in the bedroom. While we were staying, we were also informed that there was a need to vacate the room from 12 to 4 pm on Sunday 6 July 2014 for electrical tests. This was communicated to us only after we booked the hotel (the management sent us an email). While the hotel made efforts to inform us, we felt that this should be made known BEFORE we committed to the booking. Otherwise, I would say the hotel is very well located and convenient. Rated 5 out of 5 by An experience Our stay at Four Points was fantastic from the moment we were greeted at the door to being checked in by the most helpfull receptionist who changed our room to the 8th floor so we would get a better view over Darling Harbour. Peter the concierge was very very knowledgeable and so very helpfull. The room was fantastic with great views and the bed was huge and so very comfortable. On the downside I feel the wi-fi should be supplied free in the room April 27, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Four Points on Four Points lightning is very dull particularly in bathroom, aircon requires the entry card to be inserted near doorway to work (all other power works without it), toilet seat needs to be down to push the flush - not so practical for men. Interesting shelf arrangement in shower, not sure if TV is tuned correctly to receive digital stations - eg tennis results that normally appear on screen appear off the screen. Overall the stay was good - these are just observations. January 19, 2013
