Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Location with fantastic harbour view room Fantastic location, room is clean and comfortable especially harbour view room comes with superb darling harbour view. Front office staff are very helpful too and they are always with great smile. Except for the concierge counter, there was a guy with no smile to me at all while i were trying to ask him for direction to city area. Also, the housekeeping staff are not consistent in replenishing my room amenities. Example, they'll give me toothbrush set today but not tomorrow. Despite all those, I enjoyed my stay very much. Rated 5 out of 5 by Location, style and service! Although the hotel was fully booked, we were upgraded to a harbour view room. Wow! The views were fantastic! Proximity to Darling Harbour is a big plus, with a dedicated walkover from the side of the hotel. The hotel also participated in the Darling Harbour Fiesta, offering the seafood and dessert buffet at half price! Great value. The room was spacious and stylish and the staff very courteous and helpful. Free Internet is only available in the lobby unless you are on the Club floor. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed My daughter has a disability and therefore has to use a wheelchair. The staff were very accommodating but I was disappointed with the room. We were told it was $30 more expensive than the twin room but it was in the newly renovated part of the hotel and much larger. Well, I would not have liked to seen the twin room as this room was so tiny we could barely move my daughters chair around in the room. I would have thought a accessible room (which was more expensive) would have been more accommodating. I think we should have just stayed with the twin room. Great service from the staff but disappointed with the room. Also we came back from a concert at 11:10 and the restaurants, bars had all closed. Room service was finished (except for snacks) so that is what we had. February 18, 2013

Just adjacent to Darling Harbor, it is a short walk from all the tourist spots and great restaurants. The hotel just needs to improve their room esp. the toilet seat is too near the wall. The doors should be more noise proof so as not to hear outside noise. I was awoken by a drunk neighbor banging at the door bec. his wife would not let him in. The hotel should give free wifi to all the registered guest. In the Philippines you can get free wifi in most hotels and restaurants, even malls. May 6, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Above Average I stay at the Four Points every week, having also tried out many of the others in the area. Overall it's been pretty good, indicative of good staff training and good procedures in place. However billing has been consistently problematic, and escalations to sort this out have typically not gone that smoothly! I see an organisation that is determined to provide consistent quality but also keep costs down very low... perhaps a little lower than they should be as very low costs do impact the quality of the experience! Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic hotel This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. The hotel is located right on Darling Harbour, and has very easy access to good food and shopping, as well as the aquarium and wildlife center. The Ferry docks are a short walk on the water front, giving you quick access to other areas in Sydney. The food at the hotel was excellent with a great breakfast buffet to start your day. The staff is some of the best and most helpful I have run across in all my travels. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Sydney. February 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, great view I was given a free upgrade to a room with harbor view which was fantastic as there is fireworks on Saturday evening. However, the air-conditioning was not working. I called the reception and they send a technician which only partially solved the problem. There were 2 air-conditioning duct for the living and bedroom area and he managed to get the living area air-conditioning working. It proves that the air-conditioning was insufficient and we were freezing in the night in the bedroom. While we were staying, we were also informed that there was a need to vacate the room from 12 to 4 pm on Sunday 6 July 2014 for electrical tests. This was communicated to us only after we booked the hotel (the management sent us an email). While the hotel made efforts to inform us, we felt that this should be made known BEFORE we committed to the booking. Otherwise, I would say the hotel is very well located and convenient. Rated 4 out of 5 by Clean Convenient Affordable in the CBD Thoroughly enjoyed our quick stay in Four Points. I agree with many reviews that its among the best sub-200 AUD hotels in the CBD. The room we got is smaller than usual but still comfortable, clean and had the amenities we needed. The staff were extremely helpful with our requests for a baby cot and complementary water (when we didnt find any upon check in). There is free internet in the lobby which is more than adequate for quick emails and checking into FB. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Sydney February 6, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Great Hotel but Booking process needs improving Online booking process really was disappointing and needs improving. Rang hotel and also the International reservation service and were not helpful. Booking a room took me about 3 hours to work out what your packages were...not clear on your website including no reference to what your breakfast included eg full breakfast, continental ? Hotel room had faulty airconditioner and had to call for assistance to have this fixed. Overall beautiful room but poor experience. June 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff, great location This was the third time this year that I've stayed at 4 Points Darling harbour - this is a consistently good hotel with friendly, helpful staff and usually available at a good price. The concierge and front desk staff are always willing to help, and even though it is not the newest hotel in town, it is generally good value and I have never had any issues with my rooms. A couple of minor disappointments this visit with cold bacon and weak coffee at breakfast, but I was in too much of a hurry to notify the staff to rectify this. My previous experiences at The Corn Exchange have been almost faultless, breakfast or dinner. Other than that, checking in and out was very quick and easy and Ashley at the Lobby Bar was great. I don't have any hesitation in recommending this hotel. December 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by made most welcome! Absolutely 100% enjoyed our stay at four Points. The room was a decent size with VERY comfortable king sized bed and fabulous views over darling harbour. The buffet breakfast was one of the biggest I have seen at any other hotel we have stayed. Absolutely brilliant how breakfast is served until 10.30 and the late 11am checkout rather than the normal 10am was much appreciated. The staff were all wonderful offering great service. Loved the 11th floor bar with magical views of the Saturday night fireworks. Thank you January 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cosy overnight stay Excellent value for money as buffet breakfast was included in price. Room whilst comfy and cosy was fairly small and basic. Not the most romantic setting. Having said that we were given a harbour view room which was nice. Amenities were thoughtfully included with minibar, iron, coffee/tea. Outstanding service across the board from staff. July 13, 2014

I spend more than AUD200 but feel like $50, with old fashion curtain, sofa, plastic kettle and horrible TV's remote control. There's nothing to attract all senses at all which include scent, scenery etc. It's only one good thing, that would be the concierge staffs! July 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the Car Port and Food. My wife and I came here for our belated honeymoon, and we both loved the hotel. The staff was very helpful and professional, and the carport in front was a very nice for tour pick-up & drop-off. The proximate location to Darling Harbor and all the great restaurants within is a major plus. we ate some place new for every meal of the day. Only downside is no pool. July 8, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pity about the noise This hotel has all the hallmarks of being a high-quality hotel with a fantastic Sydney location. The room I shared was a standard hotel size on the city side of the building. The finishings were good - but I would have expected more for the price. Personally, I hate shower curtains. The biggest problem is the noise. The room walls and doors just don't have adequate noise insulation. People just walking down the corridor having a standard conversation can be heard. People in adjacent rooms going about their business like showering or boiling the kettle can be heard. In fact the noise of the shower going is only stifled by the continual noise of the air conditioner that you need to keep on as there are no opening windows. The lack of adequate noise insulation is a real pity. April 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Hotel I have stayed here a number of times and always for business. This is a good solid 4 star hotel. Good meeting room facilities and staff to service the meting room. Vey nice lunch provided. I was upgrade to a harbour view room as I have been in the past which was very nice. The hotel was at near capacity but his did not effect service levels or the cafe at all. Whilst I usually stay at another SPG hotel in the city I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for the business traveller or tourist alike as it is very well located to Darling Harbour which has great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants. Also close to great shopping. My Platinum level was acknowledged as well ,with the room upgrade, as it has always been for other stays at this hotel. A very pleasant stay overall. February 21, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Views Great Location Rooms Eh! I booked a Deluxe Room via SPG points and then put in more points to get a Harbor view. When we arrived I was told that since we were SPG gold elite that we had been upgraded. Our room was indeed on the Harbor side with a great view, but, the room itself was not deluxe and tiny without a bath. So instead of an upgrade we were actually downgraded from what I believe I had booked. I did not complain as we were only to be there 3 days, but after stays at the Westin in both Sydney and Melbourne we were spoiled! June 8, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Queens Birthday Weekend stay fit for a King Wonderful three night stay at Four Points by Sheraton. Fabulous harbour room view with balcony. Extremely comfortable bed until last night when sheets were changed and it was obvious that it was two singles joined but not at same levels making a large ridge in the middle. Breakfast buffet is excellent but Seafood dinner buffet did not have enough options for those who are not keen on seafood but enjoy a buffet. Would definitely stay again, staff extremely helpful and friendly and great central location. June 11, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good location In winter, great place to stay near Darling Harbour, without needing to walk to the Darling bridge in cold windy conditions. Rooms are small but very clean. Breakfast needs real improvement. The hotel is scimping on quality product i.e. budget bacon strips (all fat), poor bread selection etc. July 14, 2014
