The hotel was exceptionally nice and the rooms were top notch! Everything was great and the the housecleaners were very nice! Highly recccomend it! Could use a few more decorations on the walls, seemed a little bear but maybe that is the look you want!

There needs to be a lot of upgrades to this hotel. The rooms have no life. The beds and pillows are too soft. We both woke up with neck pain. There is no art work anywhere in the hotel. The hallways look like a dormitory. The amenities were poor.

Overall the stay was pleasant, but had the following issues that were not resolved (although I was only staying for one night)
1. Jacuzzi jets did not work in the suit; 2. Toilet did not flush well; 3. TV remote in bedroom does not turn TV on and off

The hotel is average. The rooms are old and need refurbishing, especially the furniture, microwave etc. The person that makes the bed should not mess with the stuff that you leave out on the bathroom counter. The bathroom needs updating as well.

Great Stay and rooms. Staff was friendly and everything I needed I was given. Close to many shops and malls. Free Parking (only real hotel that does not charge for parking , always a plus) and free shuttles to many locations. Highly recommended.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Especially important- very quiet! The staff went out of their way to answer any questions, and help whenever they could. The free breakfast was very good, and a nice surprise. The hotel was a good value.

The rooms are worn, torn, and somewhat dirty. Prices are somewhat high for the quality. Location was my sole reason for this selection. I have stayed here many times in the past 4-5 years ago and it appears time to get an update started.

This is a hidden hotel near qualcom. The rooms have been remolded and the staff is very friendly. The breaskfast buffet was very good and staff was awesome. Price very reasonable

I was there for 1 night and only checked in, left then came back late to sleep and left early next day, so I didn't get to see or experience offerings of hotel.
Bed was comfortable and clean, staff was friendly.

Fixtures in the bathroom were not in good order. There was a broken off tile in the tub and the shower control was completely broken. Lav sink was loose and almost falling off and dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Can't recommend.

I was in San Diego on business and stayed at the 4 Points and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and Oscar in the restaurant was great. Loved the lobby coffee bar. The room was perfect and very well appointed.

I have stayed here many times in the past, it is located close to the freeway so getting to downtown is a quick 15 minute trip but not in the center of the hustle of downtown. But the age of the facility is showing.
Room doors, SLAM shut and man you hear it in your room, and said door could be 5 rooms away. The latch lock that is on the door wasn’t secured completely there was LOTS of play in it and you can see that maintenance has repositioned this many times. Not a very secure feeling.
Carpet in the hall ways gives me a headache, talk about busy pattern.
Bathroom is showing its age, rust on the legs where it meet the title floor, the petcock that is used to direct the water to the shower wouldn't close completely so not to get full blast...
EVS didn't clean my room one day, I left my room about 10am and didn't return until 930 that night, when I went down to the desk, the night auditor tried and blame it on me. When I explained that they had ALL day to go back and clean it I think he realize I was right. I had a half believed "I'm Sorry."
The next day I saw the housekeeper and I saw the problem, she spoke NO ENGLISH..... Now I can see that she didn't understand me when I saw her that morning..
I'll be staying at the new renovated Four Points Downtown.

Average quality Four Points for the price. Relatively neat and clean, obviously not as nice as a 5 star Sheraton. But not too shabby for a past-thru type of a hotel. Staff was friendly, quick and simply type of stay.

The hotel needs at least three courtesy shuttles that hold at least 15 people. I attended a convention with over 100 people from out of state and the one shuttle that the hotel provided lacked proper service.

Came for Holiday Bowl Game. Got great rate. Terrible looking hotel, looked like a hospital near rooms. Horrible amenities, uncomfortable beds. Ok for a quick overnight but anything longer would have been brutal

Outdated hotel and a poorly trained staff. Once upon a time this was probably a nice place to stay, but that was probably over a decade ago. The again what do I know since I only spend 275 days per in a hotel.

My family were very happy that we stayed at Four Points Hotel. The employees were very helpful and the service in the restaurant was excellent. Our sleeping rooms were very clean and and smell very good.

Although it was helpful to have 2 restrooms,
the low toilets, out of date high lav counters, mismatched furniture all contributed to a feeling of being in a room/suite forgotten in time by the hotel.

When I do business in San Diego, this is a convenient hotel because of its location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room could use some updating, but the bed was comfortable.

I would rate this hotel as a average at best, we were asked to leave the hotel bar at 10:36, and room had issues, drain clogged, sink stunk, maid forgot towels one day, to high maintenance for me!!

The location of Hotel is within 10 minutes of sea world, old san diego, and mall. The front desk staff was courteous and very helpful. I would not hesitate booking another stay with this hotel.

Room & bathroom are small according to american standard
No broadband connection throughout stay for 6 nights despite technicians trying to fix the problem the 1st 2 nights.

The breakfast is basically a continental breakfast, which is usually free at hotels. It's not worth $14.
We were on the 3rd floor which was very hot and we could never get our room to cool off.

Hotel rooms are small and dated, need to be renovated. The bathroom was extremely small, but clean. Shower had great water pressure which is a great plus for me. The beds are very comfortable.

attended an event at the pavilion. very bad acoustic and wall paneling at the ceiling were missing. it seems the air-conditioning are not working and the food (meat) served were cold and hard.
