Rated 3 out of 5 by Giga2014 Convenient location - expensive though
The cost of using internet in the room is Way too High, causing that Every guest sits in the very small lobby... We experienced the staff arguing with guests about what they had comunicated regarding the internet. Not very serviceminded staff in that respect.
Talked to friends staying the same days as us, but paid less.
The socalled upgrade to Executive? I could not see what this consisted of.
But very conveniently located hotel for our event at the olympic stadion.

The hotel and area were old and the age showed. While I was recognized as a Platinum member at check-in the rooms we got were very basic. They weren't even a SPG room much less an Executive rooms In all our other says in Europe, my family was treated with much greater respect and we were upgraded.
We were also looking forward to using the fitness center and this hotel's was "under renovation".
Breakfast was great and the room was very clean. The staff was cordial but not friendly like at the other properties.

Fantastic experience the. Hotel is nicely located near U and BMW also Olympic Park! The staff was excellent. A small discrepancy was handled quickly and cheerfully Maren Beil is an asset to the Sheraton. Can't express our appreciation for Maren enough. Sabrina at the fron desk was also very helpful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Afonso all you need on your business travel
This hotel is very well located, near to olimpiapark subway, you can easily reach any point in Munich. There are also supermarkets on the ground floor very usefull you you have a long stay. The breakfast has a lot of variety , the rooms are very spacious and the staff is always ready to answer to your requests, although not being a very fashionable hotel for me is one of the best options to stay in Munich.

Our stay at Olympiapark was comfortable. The hotel is only a short walk from the underground and only a few stops and one transfer from the city center. Also, it is situated near several small shops, bakeries and even a nice supermarket. The hotel staff was excellent and the internet connection was above average as hotels go. It is a place that I would stay again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Vincos Good Value but with Caveats
Judging against other Four Points, this one generally fares very favorably. It is, however, an old property and was built to the standards of the Olympic Village not a modern hotel. It has a somewhat institutional feel with long non-descript corridors and cookie-cutter rooms. While pleasantly decorated, the rooms lack air-conditioning. Depending on the time of the year and the temperature, this could make for an unbearable stay. I believe this fact should be more emphasized on the SPG sites as I had no idea and happened there during very warm weather.
The staff was gracious and helpful.
SPG benefits are almost a moot point as the rooms are virtually all the same. I was upgraded to "executive" but couldn't really figure out the difference. WiFi and water were provided.
I was a bit disappointed that the restaurant was not operational in the evening. There was bar food available though in the lobby and it was very good and well-priced.

The gentleman who receives us was not firendly, one day I went down to request a tea instead of coffee, he not not friendly at all and we were rebuffed. He said with anger if you want tea, go to the resturant.
For SPG, the room was standard or below. I did not feel my SPG value or apprciation. All we get is free wi-fi.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sarah83 Hotel staff not competent and no platinum recognition
This hotel continually screwed up my reservation, my platinum status was not recognized, and when I checked out, it took 45 minutes and I was unable to get an itemized receipt to understand why my bill was the amount it was. The facilities are nice but don't stay here unless you have to.

From the outside, probably one of the most hideous facilities I have ever stayed at, the insides are all in reasonable condition. As a result: would stay there again, depending on the price of this hotel and the other, nicer alternatives

Incredible that in the 21st century a 3 star hotel does not have air conditionning in each room. It was pretty difficult even to find a fan and even that didn't help to reduce the heat of the room.

Great hotel.very comfortable beds. The only down side was the signage for the hotel.we did not see signs large enough to let us know where hotel was. Other than that it is a great hotel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gadgeeked Excellent Staff
The best part of my stay was the very attentive, helpful and friendly staff; front desk associate Evelyn in particular. The service was flawless and exceeded expectations. Also, SPG Gold was recognized and I had free wifi.
The hotel location is great for the Olympic Park but not so much for the city. The subway is close but taxi drivers and car services had problems finding the hotel and it is a while to the center.
Since the building is from Olympic times of 1972 and under monument protection, the room heated up in the morning. There was a fan in the room, that I didn't like to use.
Because of the excellent staff, I recommend the Four Points By Sheraton Munich Olympiapark.

Rated 3 out of 5 by StBr The breakfast was below standart
The breakfast in the hotel was below average.
The hot food was cold and the bread old.
The guest can get their coffe on a standart coffe maschine and you only get orange juice from a service maschine.
The varity of food was to bad for a 4 * hotel.
All in all - the breakfast in this hotel was never in the correlation to any standard of a 4*hotel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by cutieangel Inadequate hotel in a great location for BMW Welt
I would recommend this hotel only if you are planning a trip based around BMW Welt. We stayed in two Executive rooms for three days here and went to BMW Welt on each of the three days for one reason or another. There is also very easy access into central Munich by subway. However, the hotel is not up to snuff. We booked Executive rooms and were told they have no higher level so no upgrades could be given us. One of the rooms we were given was large enough. The other was miniscule and I did not feel we could comfortably stay in it for three days so they moved us to a larger room. They told me that almost all of the Executive rooms were the size of the one we discarded, which was awkward and cramped. The two larger rooms that we stayed in were also inadequate in many ways. For example, it was impossible to use the bathtub while using the bath products, which were in large dispensers hung high on the wall. No soap or shampoo for tub users, I guess. The shower door opened in on the shower and blocked access to the faucet mechanism due to space limitations in the room, so you had to get into the tub/shower in order to reach the controls. I have never stayed in a Four Points Sheraton before so I have no others to compare it to, but I have stayed in other budget hotels and I am rating it based on those experiences. Some of the staff recognized my Delta Platinum status but the newer members seemed unfamiliar with it when I asked for late checkout. That and changing rooms were the only benefits I asked for from the status and I received them. Good points are these: The bed was comfortable and the windows open to allow in fresh air. The staff was very nice and helpful. The major negative was the poor space planning of the rooms.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rainbow Hotel Room/ Policy
The room had a dirty lampshade, no clock and the accessible wall socket to plug in a charger was loose from the wall. There were no desktop electrical plug-ins or any that were above the normal level. You are not allowed to eat in the lobby with your own food, which is embarrassing because there are no signs to tell you that. It is a lobby and no differentiation that there a bar. It isn't even a restaurant though they will find a way to get you the basics. When you enter the hallway, my first impression was that it reminded me of a hospital because of the white walls, bordered in yellow. Very plain. I can also see why there were limited pictures of the exterior on the website. The best thing about this hotel is the location. I know it isn't downtown but that is okay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PureGlamTV Okay for one night
This hotel is o.k. for one night, if you are looking for a place close to BMW world, Olympic Stadium, TV Tower, etc. with a limited budget.
The hotel is located on a part of the historic Olympic village on the 13th to 15th floor overlooking Munich, but you will see that the building was built in 1972 or before.
Rooms are clean for a 3-star-hotel and facilities are o.k. - Breakfast typical American-Style.
Very friendly staff, frequent parking possibilities around, also grocery store, etc.
