Rated 2 out of 5 by Sarah83 Hotel staff not competent and no platinum recognition
This hotel continually screwed up my reservation, my platinum status was not recognized, and when I checked out, it took 45 minutes and I was unable to get an itemized receipt to understand why my bill was the amount it was. The facilities are nice but don't stay here unless you have to.

From the outside, probably one of the most hideous facilities I have ever stayed at, the insides are all in reasonable condition. As a result: would stay there again, depending on the price of this hotel and the other, nicer alternatives

There are no free internet access in the rooms. I was in many hotels in Munich and everywhere was free access in the rooms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scottedina Assume Staff ,Great Location And A Great Value!!!
We're do I start, Check in was fast and by far the most pleasant check in I have had in years. The young lady (Evelyon) was by far the nicest hotel staff member I have ever in countered period !!!! And hard working and genuine. After checking in to our three rooms, she assisted on helping us with our 9 bags. Wow, was this a St Regis? And throughout our whole stay she was always there. Thank you so much for making our stay assume.
The rest of the staff is great, the breakfast is above average for this level of hotel. The location is near a lot of tourist spots.
It's a small hotel located in the Olympic Village of the 1972 games. Many food choices right outside the door 50 meters. Small market salons etc.
the only problem with this hotel is that it does not have AC, (historical building, can not change)
So if you like your room cold and your traveling in the hot months you may want to plan accordingly. The hotel did provide fans and it was fine for us.
Also the young man who ran the breakfast was also so nice, helpful (Evil) sorry about the spelling of the name.
This hotels staff is by far one of the best teams I have see at a SPG hotel.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jacobo39 Needs major improvements
Incredible that in the 21st century a 3 star hotel does not have air conditionning in each room. It was pretty difficult even to find a fan and even that didn't help to reduce the heat of the room.

Great hotel.very comfortable beds. The only down side was the signage for the hotel.we did not see signs large enough to let us know where hotel was. Other than that it is a great hotel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Meme40 don't count on internet
You have to buy internet/wifi if you want it in your room. And even when you pay for it, it's not a guarantee that it will work. For me it was really slow and I couldn't even open e-mails.
My room key stopped working more than 10 times during my visit there which was for 5 days. Meaning that I constantly had to go to the reception to get it fixed.
This was a real bummer!
I didn't have the breakfast there, but only because it wasn't "allergenic friendly". I don't eat gluten or milk products and that only left me with fruits. :(
The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and I slept well during my stay.

The hotel and area were old and the age showed. While I was recognized as a Platinum member at check-in the rooms we got were very basic. They weren't even a SPG room much less an Executive rooms In all our other says in Europe, my family was treated with much greater respect and we were upgraded.
We were also looking forward to using the fitness center and this hotel's was "under renovation".
Breakfast was great and the room was very clean. The staff was cordial but not friendly like at the other properties.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nacy22 Great hotel for people who like calm areas
This was my first stay in this hotel and I have to admit I was very pleased with rooms, staff and its location. It is clean, comfortable and it has a great view of Munich (I could see Allianz arena at night from my room which was great). U Bhan station is close which was very important for us. Also, hotel has private praking, so if you come by your car you won't have to worry about it. The only thing I didn't like was the price, for a 3-star hotel, I think they are a little bit expensive. But, other than that, it was great and if i ever come back to Munich I will surely take the same hotel again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gadgeeked Excellent Staff
The best part of my stay was the very attentive, helpful and friendly staff; front desk associate Evelyn in particular. The service was flawless and exceeded expectations. Also, SPG Gold was recognized and I had free wifi.
The hotel location is great for the Olympic Park but not so much for the city. The subway is close but taxi drivers and car services had problems finding the hotel and it is a while to the center.
Since the building is from Olympic times of 1972 and under monument protection, the room heated up in the morning. There was a fan in the room, that I didn't like to use.
Because of the excellent staff, I recommend the Four Points By Sheraton Munich Olympiapark.

Rated 3 out of 5 by StBr The breakfast was below standart
The breakfast in the hotel was below average.
The hot food was cold and the bread old.
The guest can get their coffe on a standart coffe maschine and you only get orange juice from a service maschine.
The varity of food was to bad for a 4 * hotel.
All in all - the breakfast in this hotel was never in the correlation to any standard of a 4*hotel.

The room had a dirty lampshade, no clock and the accessible wall socket to plug in a charger was loose from the wall. There were no desktop electrical plug-ins or any that were above the normal level. You are not allowed to eat in the lobby with your own food, which is embarrassing because there are no signs to tell you that. It is a lobby and no differentiation that there a bar. It isn't even a restaurant though they will find a way to get you the basics. When you enter the hallway, my first impression was that it reminded me of a hospital because of the white walls, bordered in yellow. Very plain. I can also see why there were limited pictures of the exterior on the website. The best thing about this hotel is the location. I know it isn't downtown but that is okay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PureGlamTV Okay for one night
This hotel is o.k. for one night, if you are looking for a place close to BMW world, Olympic Stadium, TV Tower, etc. with a limited budget.
The hotel is located on a part of the historic Olympic village on the 13th to 15th floor overlooking Munich, but you will see that the building was built in 1972 or before.
Rooms are clean for a 3-star-hotel and facilities are o.k. - Breakfast typical American-Style.
Very friendly staff, frequent parking possibilities around, also grocery store, etc.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Giga2014 Convenient location - expensive though
The cost of using internet in the room is Way too High, causing that Every guest sits in the very small lobby... We experienced the staff arguing with guests about what they had comunicated regarding the internet. Not very serviceminded staff in that respect.
Talked to friends staying the same days as us, but paid less.
The socalled upgrade to Executive? I could not see what this consisted of.
But very conveniently located hotel for our event at the olympic stadion.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sunrider101 It gets hot during summer
It's only June, but this hotel doesn't have AC. The staff was fantastic in that they tried to accomodate me by switching me to different hotel. I didn't have enough time to do so, so i stayed, but it really was really really hot.
This hotel is located above apartments. Smell of cooking from below came up, and i am going to assume the humidity also factored from having apartments below.
I really wish they'd install AC units. This hotel would then def be close to perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hhe68 Executive room
I had booked an executive room, but it was just an average room, based on the fire escape details. Why an earth you would pay extra, if not having nothing premium? I have been in the corner rooms with additional free minibar (say, free 2x Apfelsaft, 2xBeer, 2xWasser), but the room was even little bit of out of normal.
I could see something, if there was a lounge where to relax, but this is something, I cannot reall ysee worth of paying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hhe68 A great proximity of Football stadium, and downtown
Servus. FP Sheration Olympiapark is in good range of all - not being in heart of action. It makes bit of tranquility, if you are with family. Rooms are good, although it would be nice to have few sqm wider rooms in general. Otherwise, breakfast is overall very good with a great staff. Amenities in rooms, bit upgrade would be nice. Good Customer Service in general is always appreciated.

We had many issues with this hotel. We appreciated the location but the hotel was run down and no one at the hotel refused to make things better. My husband and I stayed two nights and the list goes on with things that went wrong. Our tub was clogged and although reported, was never fixed. The elevator did not work because our 14th floor button could not be pushed. The entire hotel's Internet was down the entire time we were there and never offered a solution, even when we asked someone to figure out how to check us in. Breakfast at the hotel was am exorbitant amount of money. We decided to eat at cafés in the area instead. We weren't given water upon arrival, despite what their email and website promised. We have stayed in many Four Points around the world and like this chain but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service and quality of this hotel. Nothing was done to make this stay right.

We stayed here for just 3 days and most of the time we were out. But the staff made the stay comfortable and were very helpful. Not having air-conditioning was a disappointment but we Americans are spoiled anyway. Would recommend this hotel for the convenience, friendly staff and well appointed rooms. German TV of course is boring. No wonder most Germans are outside drinking beer!

Rated 2 out of 5 by CMMH Tiny, Uncomfortable Room
Room was very small. Hardly had enough room to walk between bed & desk to get to bathroom. Lots of noise from adjacent BMW manufacturing plant. Bed was very uncomfortable. Had dip in middle so my wife and I kept rolling into each other.
Desk staff was great though. Very friendly and treated us well. Gave us lots of good Oktoberfest information.

Fantastic experience the. Hotel is nicely located near U and BMW also Olympic Park! The staff was excellent. A small discrepancy was handled quickly and cheerfully Maren Beil is an asset to the Sheraton. Can't express our appreciation for Maren enough. Sabrina at the fron desk was also very helpful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ChicagoInNapoli Great price...limited expectations
Front desk can't manage Platinum checkout automatically. No air conditioning (not needed this trip). WONDERFUL price, great location. If you're traveling by yourself, and are okay with a closet sized Executive space, the price can't be beat.

It's a better place than I expected in terms of adjacent atmosphere. You have to walk around here. Besides Olympic Park and BMW Welt, whole adjacency was fantastic. And, don't forget to swim at Olympic Pool. I would never forget here.
