Rated 1 out of 5 by Okray Worst SPG Stay
We are frequent SPG hotel users. Upon checking in we realized that the room was very small and had only one place to sit (desk). We asked the receptionist about this and she explained that only certain rooms were larger and had seating. When asked why we did not receive one we were told "you didn't ask for one". This hotel was NOT worth the Starpoints we used and I will be contacting Starwood for an adjustment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Princessq Staff were wonderful!!!!
During our stay, we learned of the death of one of our immediate family members. The staff at Four Points totally outdid themselves. They surprised us with a handwritten note of sympathy and a tray of fruits and desserts. We were so suprised at their concern and generosity. We didn't even mind the fact that we notified the front desk that our refrigerator was missing and had been told by several different people that it would be replaced. However, it never was.

This was the most pleasant hotel encounter we have ever had. We travel quite a bit for business and travel to Savannah quite often, however, we had never stayed at Four Points. We were quite pleasantly surprised by everything. Every staff member that we encountered was especially charming and very helpful. The front desk employees were happy and eager to help, the valet staff was courteous and helpful, even walked me to my vehicle when I discovered that I had forgotten something. The kitchen staff and room service experience was superb. I will definitely be staying here again! The hotel is also in a great locationl.

Rated 1 out of 5 by hank83 Poor General Mgr.
the two nights after the checking nite, the room was not made up.
after complaining about the first nite, we were offered 250 points.
after the second day we had the misfortune of meeting a woman who claimed to be the GM.
All we got from her was bloviation, and excuses. I made the horrible mistake of using the word "damn" and she was "offended"
totally disingenuous! We got breakfast from the housekeeping super and the GM felt that was sufficient compensation for two notes of unmade up room. I demand some satisfaction. At least replacing the points used, and some sort of reprimand to the GM. I would be happy to discuss this incident with customer service.

We have found this hotel a perfect stop over on our way to Florida. We have stayed here several times in the past 3 or 4 years. From our first contact with the bellmen until they wave us off on our departure every staff person is pleased to see us, proficient in what we need and eager to serve us as soon as possible. Special attaboys to Stephon and Carl. On this trip we were surprised to be offered a complimentary barbecue and drinks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Savannah. In addition to what I have mentioned above, the hotel's location is extremely convenient to the attractions of the city as well as both north and south access.

Not at all what I expected from this hotel. The room was dirty. Most disturbing was the linen. I asked for new linen which never came. Small rooms. Overall not much good about this hotel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacqui77 Best New Home Base in Historic Savannah!
Great Hotel! The beds were sooooo comfortable...and our room was fantastic!
Best night sleep of my multi city trip, by far!
The front desk, restaurant staff and housekeeping were excellent. Nicole and breakfast staff started our morning of with great energy and great food!
Concierge was a bit single minded and unhelpful. Pool could be warmer...both the water and the feel of the area around it.
All in all, I was blown away by the warmth, comfort and homey quality of this hotel...and it is a great location for seeing all the sites of historic Savannah.
Thank You. They even made my young Girl Scout daughters feel very special! We look forward to coming back asap!

We stayed here for 2 nights in February. Only complaint is the housekeeping staff. They did not make up our room. That morning we left the hotel at about 10:30 a.m. We came back close to 2 p.m. and saw the room wasn't made up so we asked the front desk attendant to please look into it. While we were there he called housekeeping and told us that they were still on duty and that the room would be made up. We left the hotel and returned later that evening. Nobody had been to the room. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and always found it enjoyable. So this was surprising. Moreso because the front desk attendant told us the problem would be taken care of. I am a platinum member and travel quite a bit. I realize that things can and do go wrong from time to time. However, failing to make up a room would seem to be a fairly basic and easy problem to avoid. Should also mention that when we used the coffee machine there was a used coffee pod in the filter. Nice. In reading other reviews I noticed other complaints about the housekeeping staff. Despite the hotel´s many positives, this would seem to be an area requiring improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DisneyLincoln Great hotel and Excellent staff!!
Great location and excellent staff!
Came here on business and was greeted by the Valet staff (valet parking only option here). I handed off the car, they gave me some instructions that I didn't remember and away I went. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by the front desk peeps. They were almost as energetic as me!! I got checked right in and they told me that the Manager's Reception was going on there there were free food and drinks... OK!!!
I wandered up to my room and dumped my bag and banjo on the bed and high tailed it to the reception. I was greeted with some free beer and food!! LUCKY!!!!! They were pouring up some Sweetwater 420 (delish!) and they had some marinated/baked chicken and veggies for food. It was not bad at all! I was surprised.
The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a great view of the riverfront. This was not my first stay at a Four Points, so I was accustomed to the amenities.
The location is great. You're right at the end of the "strip" where you want to be in Savannah for some night life. Easy to walk to the restaurants and bars and back.
I definitely recommend this hotel is you're in the area!!!!

We stopped in Savannah just for one night on our way to FL so we knew we wanted to stay somewhere in the Historic District that was reasonably priced and walking distance to the river and City Market . The Sheraton fit the bill in all of those respects and so much more! The room and the entire hotel was very comfortable and clean and we appreciated the free bottles of water that were waiting for us in our room. The staff was what we appreciated the most. From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, each and every staff member we met was so sincerely nice, very accommodating and most of all cheerful, we wished we could have stayed longer! Since our trip was so short we want to come back to see more of Savannah and when we do, we will definitely stay at this Sheraton again!

I usually do not provide reviews regarding a recent stay because majority of the time I am not 100% satisfied; however, Four Points was a great stay and will be our hotel of choice when returning back to Savannah. The best thing about the hotel for us was cleanliness and location (location!). The food was great, full bar, FREE internet access and FREE bottled water! Due to the great location, everything was in walking distance (bars, restaurants, shopping, candy/chocolate gourmet shops, literally everything). We did not have to drive anywhere not once which is why I did not understand the need for valet parking ($15/day), which is the only negative aspect; however, all hotels in the historical district seem to have this policy so don't waste your time looking for one without. The staff was also very nice and accommodating.

The customer service at this hotel is amazing! Everyone from the front desk personnel, to the maids, to the valet service is awesome! Everyone is friendly and will go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. I will definitely come back and stay just to see the staff's smiling faces and would recommend anyone to stay here. I have never stayed at a hotel where the customer service has exceeded my expectations!

My husband and I traveled through eight states during our vacation, and this hotel was the best. Great location (walking distance to everything) staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and inviting. We highly recommend this hotel. I loved the fresh lime water that was available at the entry door of the hotel ( we visited Savannah in July during record heat temperatures). cannot wait to return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jaceaser Great location and hospitality
Everyone at the hotel is super nice. The location is great as you can get to so many restaurants within a block or two. Its also right in the middle of everything. The rooms are nice, but the bed was too firm. It felt like sleeping on the ground. I just prefer something softer.

What a warm and friendly reception we received when we entered the hotel. The lobby is attractive and the desk staff so very welcoming. The room was nicely decorated and we had a beautiful view of the bridge. The bed was divine - so comfortable. We will definately stay here again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by xoannieox Very pleased, what a nice stay
I've stayed in Savannah (in the historic district) many times, but I must say this was one of my most pleasurable stays yet. We only stayed one night, but I would have been just as pleased staying a few more nights at this hotel and definitely would stay again when we return.
The staff here is out of this world. Everyone we dealt with at the front desk in the late afternoon when we checked in and in the morning, as well as the valet staff were so friendly and helpful. I was really taken aback by their friendliness and willingness to help with recommendations for restaurants/things to do along with any directions we may have needed. They were all very knowledgeable and willing to help at any moment.
The room itself was clean and well appointed. I found no issues with it what so ever. Also, the location of the hotel was great..very central to everything and within walking distance of all the things we wanted to do/see.
With that being said-we will definitely stay at this hotel during our next stay in Savannah.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LFC07 Great Hotel in Savannah
The Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in the historic area Savannah, Georgia, is an absolutely fantastic property. With a great location and a smaller, boutique feel, this hotel is possibly the best in Savannah.
What stands out most of all about the Four Points is the staff and their incredible service. Every staff member we encountered, from the property manager to the valet, makes you feel welcome. You get the sense that the staff truly appreciates each guest. I cannot say enough about the staff – outstanding, to say the least!
The hotel itself is beautiful inside. This is not a huge walk-a-mile-to-your-room hotel. It has five floors, with an outdoor pool on the second. Our room was very nice and clean. High ceilings, modern amenities a spacious bathroom. Very comfortable. Don't let the outside appearance deceive you! The outside of the building isn't anything special, but is well kept.
There is a small restaurant in the Four Points that has a very good breakfast buffet, including cook-to-order omelets. There is also a small, casual bar with a relaxing ambiance.
On Wednesday evenings, which was one of the nights we were at the hotel, the hotel staff has a poolside cook-out with complimentary beer and wine. The staff, once again, does a great job interacting with guests and making everyone feel welcome. This may be a seasonal promotion, and worth your time if you're there on a Wednesday night.
From the hotel, it's an easy walk to River Street, the squares in the historic district and to City Market.
Next time you are planning a visit to Savannah, consider staying at the Four Points. Overall, it is a great hotel. I don't have a single negative thing to say about it. I'll certainly return to this property!

Stayed at this hotel for a January weekend. Very convenient location and great price. The hotel is very basic - small room but comfortable and clean. Exactly what I thought it would be at this price. Metal doors so you hear every door open and close.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BARRMATT44 Our worst SPG stay ever!
To begin with, parking at this hotel is not the best should you choose to self-park on site. The lot is actually a partially unpaved slab with shared public parking as well. We were told that this lot belonged to the hotel, but when we parked we were confronted by strangers who advised us to move our "pretty truck" because they were in the process of setting up a public vending venue there. They were right. Had we not our vehicle we would have awakened to it sitting in the middle of this venue. We should not have been billed $18 for this obviously free parking lot. We were initially told by the hotel parking attendants that valet parking was our only option at this hotel, but they retracted that statement when we decided not to valet after seeing how other hotel guest vehicles were been handled before we checked in.
As gold members using 7,000 SPG points at check in we were not provided the courtesy afforded to Gold members.
Getting off of the elevator the entire hallway appeared to be unkept. Walls and doors are dirty. The carpet looked and smelled horrible.
Issue four...our assigned room, 411, smelled like strong urine. We requested a room change, but couldn't be accommodated because the hotel was full. Again, the carpet appeared to need cleaning.
The bathroom was not clean. It appeared as though someone had wiped the toilet, sink, and tub down, they definitely did not clean the shower. It was disgusting. The shower curtain looked as if it had been balled up and hung. The towels were brittle and dingy. We ended up using our own towels from our car.

Not only was everything excellent, it was fantastic. I would like to single out someone that was very special and helpful during our stay, but that is not possible, because everyone associated with the hotel would have to appear on that list. Not one person was negative about any of our needs. You must put your staff through a special schooling because everyone carried a supportive smiling face at all times. Great! My wife and I will return again next year and plan to stay longer.

From the staff at the desk at check-in, to the room quality & comfort, to the wait staff, housekeeping......all were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that guests were made welcome. Rooms are very comfortable, bar is quiet, breakfast is a pleasant experience. Location is great with almost anything within walking distance...tours, restaurants, galleries, bars. Your car is only needed for the drive to Tybee Island.
We will stay there again and again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Reviewer Attentive, Friendly Staff.
We have stayed here several times and have always been treated well. Of note is the responsiveness of the Front Desk staff and personal attention of Chef Mario.
Unfortunately, the Housekeeping staff detract from the overall positive impression.
The attention to the room cleanliness is lacking and they are generally less than respectful of the guests when it comes to common courtesy like stepping in front of my wife when she tried to enter the elevator and blocking us in the hallway even though they see you coming from a distance.
The Housekeeping Supervisor is unresponsive to direct requests and the Front Desk must be engaged to correct issues with the room after TWO attempts.
