Rated 3 out of 5 by remodel rooms Our room was a nice remodel. The rest of hotel under construction. One major thing. Why did you put in windows that can't open. I HATE THAT!!!! It's suffocating. It was a beautiful, cool night in the 50s in July and we were forced to use A/C. Not only is it totally uncomfortable to be locked in without air, but YOU have to pay for that totally unneccesary use of electricity and it's a waste of resources. Change the Windows to open and add whole room fans, and how about SOLAR? Get Green, not washing towels every day doesn't cut it. Send this to corporate please. Also, having 4 TV's in the breakfast room--all on different channels--was really obnoxious. July 26, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Stayed here for funeral function Food was terrible, nice looking hotel, you might think you would offer a decent breakfast. Bed was too soft and wierd, pillows too puffy. Hotel looked great, but rooms are too small and too expensive. Thanks June 12, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable I love the beds and showers in this hotel, as expected in many SPG hotels. The breakfast buffet is minimal (no hot breakfast). The gym is spacious and the pool is outdoor and indoor. June 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by May go down as my worst experience yet I arrived in a snow storm and the automatic doors did not work. I knocked on the glass without any luck so I started to head around the building to find another way in. Someone did finally come and I was told the sensor does that from time to time. If you know your having issues, I would expect you to fix it. As I was checking in, the person assisting me answered the phone and ignored me. As I went on my way(her still on the phone) i went the wrong direction and she did not bother to say anything. Not how I like to start my arrivals at a hotel. The rooms are poor(facelift coming) everything seems outdated. Until they get better help and complete their facelift, I would stay away. March 1, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Big disappointment! The physical plant of this hotel leaves much to be desired! Old, old, old...old dirty carpeting, old televisions that don't work properly, old furnishings! Sheraton should be ashamed! Electrical problems so that my hairdryer and curling iron wouldn't work. Attached Damon's for complimentary breakfast...left alot to be desired also. Ordered dinner, didn't bring drink. I had to call twice before they finally brought it, by then food was cold. Not a fun stay! That being said, desk staff and maintenance staff were VERY nice and helpful!! Too bad they are stuck in this hotel! March 21, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Newly renovated room The hotel is currently being renovated, which we understood when we booked. We stayed in a newly renovated room. The design was excellent and up to date, especially the bathroom. Two criticisms: the shower door didn't fit properly and therefore wasn't sealed to keep the water in. This should be adjusted by the workmen. More importantly, the lights all used the "new" bulbs, but the light was unduly bright-white "harsh." Need to change the bulbs to something with warmer light. Really was a distraction. The breakfast provided was adequate, but not "delicious." July 30, 2013

Messy, uncomfortable - expected a lobby with coffee etc. no lobby at all - under construction. makeshift rooms for continental breakfast. Messy and unappealing. Terrible selection (food) for cont. breakfast and not stocked on supplies or food items when I arrived in room at 9:00 am - had to go find someone twice to restock and resupply. My room had already been renovated but the bed was very uncomfortable, the shower was dirty and the bathroom was not stocked with extra TP or towels. November 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pool issues We stayed there April 4and 5th, we went to the pool, other guests were letting ther friends come into the pool.They told them where to park and then let them in There was app 20 of them Let kids in the hot tub .We have stayed here many times but this time was. Awful.It was better before they remodelled. No longer have a steam room April 7, 2014

The staff was courteous, Professional and friendly...and because my stay involved Bereavement, they were very attentive to my needs...(Directions, late check out). April 7, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great staff We stayed at this hotel two weekends in a row due to a family member being in a nearby hospital. They gave us a great rate due to having a family member being in the hospital. The staff was very polite. Especially Nathan, he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He even found me a bottle opener late into the evening. We will be back to stay at this hotel again. May 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Exceeded expetations I had read reviews prior to my stay and there were a few which weren"t very good due to the updating construction in progress. Therefore, I visited the hotel to see for myself before scheduling an overnight stay. Upon arrival, I was greeted by extremely friendly staff personnel. I was assigned a room and proceeded to it. Once the elevator opened, I immediately noticed no carpet was on the hallway floor. Opening my room I could see it hadn't been prepared as of that time. I went directly back to the front desk and informed the staff that I had been told we would not be put into an area that was still under construction and that the room was not prepared,. They immediately got me another room on a different floor which was oustanding. beautiful decor, flat screen TV. The most comfortable bed and bedding I have ever slept on. If you want to stay in a top notch facility, this is the one. Thank you staff for your hospitality. December 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by We'll be back, and bring friends. The hotel is under construction but the staff more than makes up for the inconvenience of it all. Autumn was particularly helpful and pleasant. We had a rough trip in and our attitudes completely changed when we saw her infectious smile welcoming us. The rooms are beautiful though the bathrooms do seem oddly arranged. I will definitely be back and tell my friends. July 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to lay your head hotel was clean, bed was comfy, pool was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. I feel with construction going on they tried their best to compensate and we heard no noise . the only negative thing I would say is the elevator certainly needed updating! and after talking to front desk staff we were told that there would be new ones installed shortly.... Rated 3 out of 5 by Excellent service Called to inquire about the availability of king suite, and Jessica was so gracious that she offered to upgrade our room to King suite to accommodate our family of 4 without being asked. The room was very spacious, staff were very friendly and nice. The room needs some upgrade. TVs are fuzzy, still the old big chancy ones. Dinning area is too dime. August 9, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Construction crew is LOUD It's 6 am and the construction crew is rolling carts -by 7:00 hey are outside my door talking about their work day! Seriously wait till 8 or 9 or just use your inside voices! Hotel will be nice when done but should have closed areas or restricted work hours. January 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 The Remodel Designer is clueless This hotel has been under renovations for over a year and still isn't done. This is the first time I stayed in a new room and while it looks nice...what were they thinking? The toilet paper roll is so far behind the toilet that it helps to be a contortionist. The lovely all glass shower stall is designed in a way that you will get scalded or a rude awakening of cold water when turning the shower on. There is no way to turn the shower on without being directly in its path. On top of that, even with the shower door closed the shower leaked so I stepped out onto a sopping wet bathmat. In addition, the back of the bathroom door had peeling laminate at the bottom and the newly painted door frame (entereing the room from the hall) appeared to have only one coat of paint and only on portions of the door frame. They need to get a refund from the designer and the contractor! No oatmeal on the breakfast selection. Plus side - the girl at the front desk was sweet and helpful when I was checking in. The stay was very comfortable, the room very clean and pleasant. When I left behind a special pillow for my neck, they shipped it to me Priority Mail and didn't charge me a penny! WOW!! June 14, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Renovation Communication The hotel was being renovated and was not mentioned at booking. The hotel was rather warm, but room was adjustable. The construction outside affected no use of the outdoor pool which was a let down being the weekend and very hot. Wish I would have been told prior to booking. July 22, 2013

It is also convenient to freeways, shopping, restaurants, nature parks, and the Marshall Frederick's Sculpture museum. October 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfort The room was great. The beds were very comfortable. Having a big screen TV was a plus! The shower was awesome, I have never had such great water pressure. The only thing missing was a fridge and a microwave. We would stay again if we are ever in the area again. November 18, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Makes the starwood name look bad I travel weekly and can honestly say that this hotel is below standard for a Starwood property. The staff is great and the facility is average. The rooms are dirty and the TVs are still 27inch tube TVs. The bathrooms have mold in the showers. I would not recommend. September 28, 2012
